I like this as a summer scent. It's fresh and not overpowering. It doesn't smell like industrial solvents like most men's colognes.

Nice refreshing casual fruity scent has some good lasting power and I get nice compliments all the time from all.

Top notes r smokey woods... great unique perfume.. everyone cant understand this perfume i guess, i didnt like this perfume first two times.. but after it i m loving it.. its great great perfume ! must buy

I recently bought a bottle of this and I can say that it smells similar to Lauder Pleasures except for the fact that image is a little softer and somewhat lighter than Pleasures. The dry down is for the most part pretty consistant with the first application. The scent does last a while even though you may not be able to smell it after a few hours. I say that because I did recieve compliments on it even after I couldn't smell it anymore. This is one of the keepers, probably in my top ten.

Haven't worn for awhile now but I remember becoming bored with it and the scent itself became very annoying in the air. 3*s at best.

It starts out fruity and somewhat refreshing but changes in a matter of minutes and becomes awfully head-inducing.

i used it when it first came out, then tried others, went back to image, luv the scent, have not found anything similiar since, it wears down well, very sensual

The problem I have with this one is that it's "overly" refreshing and a bit too fruity and musky causing headaches for me and the people that smell it.

Don't ask me why, but I initially purchased this cologne after watching American Psycho with Christian Bates. I saw Cerruti mentioned in the credits, and being that the movie conveyed a superb sense of style among its characters (nevermind the distorted plot), I searched intensely for one of his designer colognes. I went for Image because the others seemed more appropriate for an older man, of which at the time I was not ready for such a fragrance. So, Cerruti Image it was and what an excellent choice I made. This fragrance, infused with a superb aquatic and citrus combination, is excellent for active summer days or other types of informal activities. Albeit, one simply wants to wear this on formal occasions, but it's simply not appropriate for them. That doesn't mean you won't have plenty of other opportunities to wear it. Above all else, let personal preference decide.

The main page for this awful scent describes it as refreshing and spicy.............I think it's headache-inducing and repellent.

Starts out refreshingly good but in less than half an hour's time, it becomes a bit headache-inducing.

I just got this cologne and I was really impressed. For an average price I got a really decent cologne. I really love the pear note in it. Also, it takes a few seconds for the smell to become noticeable after you spray it on. Doesn't smell right away. It's in my top five along with Declaration, Obsession, Burberry and Mania.

I just purchased this fragrance, it hasn't even arrived yet, but I hope it's gonna be a decent fragrance, considering that I only paid $17 for the entire gift set!!

The very first time I sampled this refreshing scent from Nino, I really liked it. After owning a small bottle for a couple of weeks, I started to get irritated with the smell. It seems to have this peachy note in it that I can't stand even though I haven't read anything about it having peach in it. Oh well, I'll just stick with the 1881s and Cerrutisi.

...I am officially Cerrutied out! Why I chose this over so many others, I don't know. I am so stupid! I didn't want to hate on it, so I was trying to appreciate the good in it. I mean it doesn't even last nor does it bring back any memories.

very weak ok at best scent. for a fresh scent that lasts all day try gendarme, though more expensive you and everyone around you will notice.

Too fresh, near "pissy" scent when first sprayed on. But be patient. Underneath is some mystical note in there that you cant resist. And i bought this cologne when I was 18 so this come from a young man's perspective.

bought this cologne 2 years ago and loved it on paper. Smelling it now and it smells like whiskey. But there is a note in there that I fell in there that I liked. Probably the jasmine note. Buy this cologne if you are like in your late late 20's and want a fresh classy cologne.

this is the stuff, it will certainly be in your top 5. I have gotten compliments from total strangers standing on line at the supermarket. Really nice every day wear.

My boyfriend wears this stuff whenever he is going to see me and it is the most heavenly male cologne I have yet to smell. It's even better than my first favourite, Lolita Lempicka Pour Homme and that stuff is amazing! Cerruti is delicious and so is my man!

Nothing special about this cologne. I'll stick with Romance Silver and Seduction.

My all-time favorite, this stuff just smells great! The nicest thing about it is light enough to apply 15 minutes before going out and it works. (unlike my other favorite, Dolce and Gabanna... gotta give that one 45 minutes or so). Maybe it just works with my chemistry, but my girl absolutely loves this. 5+ stars, 'nuff said...

I just love smelling this stuff. It's a very "gentle", somewhat sweet smell, and in some way is vaguely familiar to me, but I just can't put my finger on it. I'd wear this stuff just for my own sake, but women seem to like it as well. By the way, a question: how do you pronounce this? The little guy with the european accent at the counter pronounced it as "sair-oo-tee" and said the name is italian. Well I've taken italian, and if I saw this word and told it was italian, I'd pronounce it "CHAIR-oo-tee", because any word in italian that begins with a c then a vowel is pronounced with an english 'ch' sound. I'd just like to know how to pronounce it correcly. Anyone konw?

WHAT'S UP FELLOW COLOGNE MASTER? I TRIED BOTH OF THESE AND IF I WAS TO PICK BETWEEN THEM, I WOULD GO WITH 1881 AMBER BECAUSE OF THE SCENT ITSELF. THE ORIGINAL SEEMS A BIT TOO OLD FASHIONED FOR ME, PERSONALLY. MAYBE YOU CAN DO A COMPARISON WHENEVER AND GIVE ME YOUR PREFERENCE. LATER.

Been wanting to try Nino's "Cerrutisi" for awhile now, but this extremely fresh and very pleasing scent is a real treat. This is my first crack at a Cerruti scent and would like to know from someone which is the better one, 1881 or 1881 Amber.

Very very nice. My all time favourite. Its not too subtle yet not too strong. Very fresh and just nice. But i figured it would be un-noticed if u go out to clubs at night..need stronger scent there. Perfect for office wear...i think.

Pure Class. For the man that doesn't need his cologne to arrive in the room five minutes before he does. Light and subtle. Pefect for those in danger of offending with too strong a fragrance than none at all........which many on these boards seem to not understand.

Can't go wrong with this choice. Perfect for warm weather.

It's a nice scent, and I think it's anything but ordinary. Now, c'mon, this "alcoholic" comment is really something... so are you trying to find an alcohol free perfume!?!?

Wore this one yesterday. On the way to work i stopped to get a newspaper at a corner store. The lady at the register said, "Wow!, that's a wonderful cologne that you're wearing; i don't know what in the world that is, but it smells unbelievable!" This gal wasn't some teenie bopper either. She was late 30's-early 40's, very nice outfit and makeup. This was not the first time i've bought a paper in the store from this lady, but it was the first time i wore this cologne. It'll be in my arsenal from now on, believe me!

Image is a combination of exotic notes with wood and it works well either at day or night. It's just the type of perfum that can make your presence enjoyable, very sophisticated. I never get tired of it's smell and I always get compliments when I wear it.

It's a sophisticated scent that scapes from routine, although its smell won't last too much on your body. Could be better.

I really like wearing this one to the office. It's distinctive and fresh and not overpowering. It's also not being worn by every third person you meet, so i don't think it'll be out of favor anytime soon.

Not sure what the hoopla is about this cologne? I heard/read great things and bought it, but after a day or so I took it back. It was for one, WEAK and did not last long and it has a uniquely bad aroma. Do not waste your money PLEASE!!!!

My all-time favorite. Clear, refreshing, inspirational scent. Just buy some unscented lotion for this, because it'd dry out too quickly. Must be layered on!

This is not a bad replacement for Polo Crest. Definitely lighter, but is definetly familiar.
