Before Oscar canceled this line due to competition from potato chips? I knew that I had found my signature perfume. My mother gifted me the cologne, the perfume, the lotion and the bath powder. Alas, only my carefully boxed cologne remains and I use it sparingly, as I await the return of Ruffles to the market. No other fragrance compares.

  • FRANCES08/19/2011

I used ruffles cologne for years and all of a sudden they did away with it. I hope you have it in stock soon. I received so many positive comments about it when I wore it...

  • CINDY06/25/2011

Please put back on the market. The best perfume I've ever worn. I got so many complements.

  • LYNDA04/28/2011

I love this perfume. Please start making it again!

  • NANCY01/26/2011

Absolutely the best fragrance I have ever worn. Blends with my chemistry so beautifully. Many compliments. Makes me feel very feminine. Oscar de la Renta, please bring back.

  • JULIA05/01/2010

My favorite fragrance Ruffles I found at the fragrance factory its a tresure for sure.

  • MMROD06/17/2009

I loved Ruffles. My parents used to buy it for me. They need to put it back on the market.

  • COLLEEN05/02/2009

Like so many others, this was my favorite fragrance in the 80s and I have tried to find its equal all of these years. I am so eager to purchase some. Oscar, bring it back!

  • CHERYL04/22/2009

I loved this perfume and have bemoaned the halt of it's production for years. I dislike florals intensely but this perfume wasn't the overly sweet cloying floral grandma perfume. The floral notes were balanced perfectly with citrus and sandalwood (none overpowered the other). I have never found a perfume that wears so well on me, nor suites my body chemistry as well either in my 30 odd years of wearing perfume. I wish this would be brought back into production in a large bottle version of the perfume.

  • ANGELA02/03/2009

Oscar, please bring it back. My sister just sent me the mini for my birthday. I too was so upset when production was halted. This was my scent in the 70's and 80's. I have never found anything that has taken its place.

  • DIANE01/05/2009

I also loved Ruffles and have been searching for a replacement scent ever since my last bottle ran out in the 80's. I just found Jessica Simpson's Fancy and I know it doesn't smell like Ruffles but it reminded me enough of the sweet smell that Ruffles delivered so I bought some and love it! Try it, you might like it too.

  • ANNETTE12/17/2008

Please bring this back it was the signature of my Mother and I started using this as well. Bigger botttles than this would be good

  • CHELLE CHELGREN11/25/2008

I found this perfume in high school, it was my signature smell. All my friends and family knew me by it. This smell was such a part of me! I would sacrifice, scrimp, and save to purchase the next bottle. I drove to Mexico to buy it when I couldn't find it in the United States. I am so happy to have found it again. I wish it would be put back into production again.

My husband bought me this fragrance when it first came out. It is the most heavenly smell I have ever smelled. There was never a time when I was not stopped and asked what smelled sooooo good on me! I could open my closet door and the smell just lingered on your clothes. I have searched everywhere trying to find it. I have never found a fragrance that comes anywhere near ruffles. I would have worn it forever. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

  • LINDA MORGAN08/29/2008

I have gone thru hundreds of dollars looking for something that compares to Ruffles to no avail. Please bring back this wonderful scent as no other can compare.

  • PEGGY08/20/2008

like the other peggy from a couple of years ago,PLEASE bring back ruffles! It was sweet without being too "girly".

  • STEPHANIE07/19/2008

I cannot buy Ruffles in Canada any more and other companies in the US do not carry it. I made it my signature scent and have tried to find something I like as well but this is IT. The one and only perfume for me. Bring it back!!!!

  • BAILEY06/08/2008

I agree with all posted comments. Ruffles is the best!

  • BETTYANNE TWIGG05/05/2008

PLEASE...PLEASE, PLEASE....bring it back. I wore it for some time after Treasor was stopped. It is the only perfume I have ever worn that had men stopping me to ask what it was...and I am NOT a young woman..but a middle- aged one. Treasor came back...bring back Ruffles!!! please....

  • PEGGY10/03/2006

Please, please bring Ruffles back to the market!!! There's nothing that can compare.

  • JANET KIRKWOOD-SLICER05/29/2006

Dear Oscar, What will it take to get a powerful, influential, and famous man as you to bring Ruffles back to the United States? Here is just one of my stories about Ruffles: One of my sisters and I have worn Ruffles since we both found it separately back in the seventies. We have never found a replacement for it since. We both married and each of us had a baby boy in the late eighties. When the babies were infants/under a year old, they were both very fussy, colicky, crying, howling, and not easily soothed unless they were in the arms of their Mother. No one else would do; not their Fathers, not their Grandmothers, no one. However my sister and I found out by accident one day when she picked up my son to try and settle him; that he calmed right down, firmly believing he was in his Mother's arms due to the 'smell' he could identify with. So later, I tried to settle her son (who was more difficult) and I got the same result. That 'smell' was the Ruffles! Yes we were sisters, and there must be some familial instances, our voices might sound somewhat alike, but it was definitely the Ruffles these baby boys had used as part of their own identification code to search out who their Mother was and who was not. Once our faces became the more recognizable feature this didn’t work as well; but it still made them feel more at ease, calm and comfortable and close to their families. And you thought Ruffles was only for women?

I have over 50 bottles of designer perfumes...searching for the one that will fill the void Oscar left in my heart when they discontinued Ruflfles. Why did they take away such a divine fragrance. I've yet to get compliments on my perfume like I did when I wore Ruffles. Can't wait to get my bottles I've ordered. Oscar do us Gals A Big Favor and bring back (our) my love. I will love Ruffles forever!!!!!

  • PAMELA JOY12/09/2005

My Mother, Hazel Joy, 1st sent me Ruffles as a birthday gift After she passed away in May of 2003, I was able to take the last of that great fragrence she had since I no longer could find it. Two weekends ago I was wearing it when my 16 year old daughter, Diana Joy, visited and she told me how lovely I smelled. I have been trying to find out what she wanted this Christmas, she replied the perfume I was wearing that day. Please bring it back!!!

  • ANN11/16/2005

I have used ruffles since the 70's it is just the best.. once used nothing else will do! We need Oscar to bring it back!

  • FMEBEAR11/08/2005

I wore this all through Jr and High school. WOW! I loved this! I wish I could find it again! This evokes so many FUN memories!

  • JULIA08/13/2005

I bought my first bottle of perfume back in 1990 and fell in love with it instantly! I used my last drop in 1995 and have been searching for it ever since. Like so many, I can’t understand why it was taken of the market because it was truly a perfume that got attention! I just loved wearing it. It got me noticed….and rembered. Ruffles left its mark on everyone, it was unique!

  • CONDRA 03/17/2005

I was first introduced to Ruffles in 1983 when I was in the 11th grade. This was my first bottle of designer perfume. Twenty-two years later I am trying to track it down and have found it. I love it.

  • LINDA02/24/2005

How do I find the address of Oscar De La Renta? I would love to write and let company know how much Ruffles is missed!!!

  • LIDIJA08/14/2004

I discovered ruffles in the 80's and i cant get over the smell. I have tried so many ways to get this perfume and still searching. I am desperate please help me as I cant find a perfume that I could say I love.

  • SHEILA06/15/2003

This is the ony product that works for me as well. I canot find it, and when I do I have to buy up a lot just to last me a couple of years. Why is this not on the market?

  • LLOZ02/14/2003

"Ruffles" yes, complicated, unnerving, annoying, frou frou, outdated and hard to wear! Excellant name for this.

  • TERI11/21/2002

Ruffles is the only perfume that I have ever really just fell in love with. I cant wear alot of different ones, Because Im one of those that they usually get stronger, and stronger. But not Ruffles, It stays the same all day. And its the only one Ive ever wore, That everyone will ask me "What I was wearing" The only bad thing now is that its so hard to find. I wonder why? Does anyone no the scents thats in it? I honestly have to say that in 47 years ruffles is the only perfume that i ever bought more than one bottle of. Its the only one Ive wore for years and years.

  • DEANNA09/24/2002

Ruffles is a beautiful and feminine fragrance. It is very hard to find though.
