Husband absolutely loves the stuff! Have to buy 2 bottles at a time. He has about 35 different colognes that he uses, but this is one of his favorites!

  • #1 FAN06/10/2009

Every year i buy this for my guy for many reasons he loves the smell of it and it is VERY APPEALING the soft yet enticing scent is the epitome of cologne scents.....this scent is the most arousing that i have ever smelled and anyone who says that it has a "strong alcohol scent that lasts way too long" obviously did not spray the cologne in the air and walk through it as well as spray the shirt the night before to give the werer a "hint" of the sexy scent without the alcohol scent which isnt as potent as grippers claim it to be.

  • UM...09/18/2008

WOMEN LIKE THE SMELL I GUESS THAT IS WHAT COUNTS THE MOST. I HAVE A UNIQUE TASTE IN COLOGNE SO THIS IS DOES NOT DO IT FOR ME. VERY ORIGINAL

  • J.RIV09/16/2007

This darn cologne wasss sooo highly recommened I was expecting so much. I know like 30 people who told me this was the way to go. I smelled this and I wanted to throw the bottle across the mens fragrances section down into the damn Jewelry section... I hate being disappointed. Very average and also the alchohol stays for too long and kinda worked it's way into my nostrils and gave me a slight headache.

  • EDO05/02/2007

Yes, indeed a very cheap and plain smell to it. It almost seems as if the formula contained 10 chemicals and the alchemist forgot to add the last 6 to the potion. Mysteriously though, as if by mistake, the chemist realized he had struck luck. Lucky you! Simple, but a head turner.

  • TONY T12/20/2006

bro, i got u. under 30 bucks 360 red (aqua di gio affordable) 360 white (jean paul affordable) and wings very affordable. number 1 lady killer vera wang, burberry brit and desire. very good list includes kenneth cole signature and herrera h2O. this lists is sacred and won't break your bank except for vera wang.

  • BUNNNIE THE CAT12/18/2006

I bought this as a gift to my BF, and he loves it and smells great on him too. Actually I bought the same one to my ex and he loved it too but dont tell nobody.... lol

  • LONNIE D12/11/2006

  • ULTRAVIVIDMAN12/03/2006

Lucky You isn't a bad fragrance but I think it's best suited for 14 to 19 year olds.

  • R.C.09/27/2006

kinda floral... very alcohol smelling. the only lucky part about it is that it's relatively inexpensive, so if you like it, it won't break the bank

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE07/25/2006

Sharp and mossy this strong alchohol-smelling cologne is. This might be one of those scents that only works on the chemistry of a few lucky gents out there that women will go crazy for but not for me. Also migraine-inducing.

  • BRANDY07/21/2006

    2 thumbs up.

  • BRANDY07/20/2006

Every cologne isn't for every occasion! This is good for school or a job that's very basic (like retail perhaps). You need a cologne that you can use to just run errands or whatever. And why pay a lot for it. Some of those colognes you listed should only be worn @ night/winter/if u have to wear an expensive suit everyday/etc.... Chanel- are u kidding me?! That's not an everday cologne- unless you wear Italian suits to work.

  • BLAH02/19/2006

Ive worn this stuff for ever and a lost of girls say i smell great and ask what stuff im wearing

  • JACOB01/05/2006

Lucky is wicked, got it myself on my last visit in States. Believe it or not, asked all shops in London, havent got it. Miss my lucky.

  • JONA12/30/2005

This cologne smells like hard alcohol. If I took a whiff of it after a long bender I'd probably throw up on the spot. Would not recommend.

  • RMJ12/20/2005

Well, i think my last post on must have gotten lost... Anyway, this cologne is one i don't really like. To me it smells plain, uninteresting, not complex, and alcohol/floral. Don't get me wrong, this cologne doesn't smell disgusting, it smells ok. I feel the fragrance completely is focused on one particular note/chord of notes that just isn't that particularly good, and there isn't any other complexity to back it up. The description does mention something about aldehydes...well, after i've spent countless hours in chemistry labs, i must say i do smell something i recognize from the chem labs in Lucky You, hah. If you are looking for something youthful and easy to wear and won't break the bank, try Curve or Mambo instead. They are both in the same cheap price range as Lucky You and are by Liz Claiborne and are a lot better. If you want to look outside the Claiborne line, try Perry Ellis 360 Red, Cool Water Deep, Lacoste Red Style in Play...All of those are youthful and easy to wear.

  • IKE G11/18/2005

I have so much of this stuff. It seems like I get it free all the time. I have the big bottle, two small bottles, lotion, shower gel, and a skin smoother. It makes me think that it's not selling well. I can see why. It's really just an average scent. Nothing good. It smells kinda like liquid leaf. But not bad enough for me to get rid of it. This cologne would compliment people who smoke cloves and erbs. Try again Lucky Brand.

  • SKIPPY11/11/2005

This has moved into my top 5 rotation. I regained the magic I once thought it had. Don't change a thing.

  • CHRIS10/16/2005

I got this stuff a few months ago. There is this co-worker that I really have a thing for and this stuff broke the ice between us. She loved the stuff so much she just had to ask what I was wearing. Now we've hit it off pretty well. So thanks Lucky.!!!!

  • NIKITA 07/14/2005

It smells like K-Mart to me. I use to wear this daily when I was in high school but it was starting to smell like alcohol. I still think you should try it because it's a cheap, okay smelling cologne.

  • ERIC05/26/2005

I don't know if I would agree that it smells cheap smelling as others tend to feel, I think it's a nice enough fragrance but it just doesn't have any strength or lasting power. It doesn't seem to last no matter how much you apply. If it came in some kind of concentrate like dishwashing liquids now do it would be better, unfortunately it doesn't so I don't own it. You spray spray spray and it just disappears disappears disappears into the atmosphere.

  • ROB H.05/17/2005

Smells very modern and inexpensive at the same time with a rather unpleasant drydown. I agree with some of the reviews I read about the alcohol linger.

  • GQ05/11/2005

does smell admittedly cheap, but still a decent cologne that you can't get tired of. probably the least complex smelling cologne in my collection, but sometimes thats a good thing.

  • CHRIS COLOGNE04/02/2005

Im a big fan of the Lucky brand stuff, having their jeans and a leather jacket as well, but Im not a huge fan of this fragrance. At first i thought it was ok, a bit like CK be perhaps, but there is too much of a chemical alcohol type smell to it that Im not too crazy about. It doesnt really change on your skin also. Descent, not great.

  • LAURA03/16/2005

I have to say that Lucky you for men is by far my favorite clogne on a guy...and I love many different colones on guys but this one is the best. It's FRESH,SEXY, and Just delicious. I would recomend it to all the guys. It dosen't matter who wears it as soon as I smell it the guy just gets a little bit hotter!

  • RONALDHINO GAUCHO02/12/2005

This cologne i got as present,I had never heard of it before, but after the ladies where asking me what i was using i knew it had to be a good one...aver all this cologne i like and i would buy again..

  • ALAN G.12/18/2004

i got this in mini and the smell is alot of alc. in it, but its ok smell. like to wear it around working or shopping...

  • TOM07/30/2004

if you get a lot of compliments on lucky you you must see all the ladies within 5 minute of when u put it on

  • LUCKY06/15/2004

Lucky You smells very similar to CK Be, but Lucky You lasts much longer and is much more stronger. I like this clean scent, although it may seem a bit feminine.

  • SKIPPY04/29/2004

This one has a good base and could be a good cologne if they added some fragrance to it. Needs either lime, mandarine, melon, or even root beer to give it some life. Without a lively scent it can at times come across as musty or as one post said, "irritating." Yes, it is also a lot like curve with a glycerine soap theme. It did intrigue me enough in the beginning to wear it several times, but then when I compare it to some other fragrances with more body to them, I can see that it doesn't seem to "fit" anymore. I have not completely given up on it and hope that I can once again find the magic I once thought it contained. I like a light scent, but this one needs a scent. I guess at a time, I thought it was citrus with a subtle sweetness to it, perhaps the green color swayed my opinion. For a test, when at the fragrance counter spray Chrome on one arm and Lucky on the other. You'll notice the (lack) of scent in Lucky You; just a base of some sort. If you like it better than Chrome, then go for it because it's right for you.

  • A.NONY.MOUS04/06/2004

On me, Lucky You generally lasts about 8 hours. I think it's a nice, watery scent that would be good for work or school. Doesn't smell like sewer water at all, but I guess it just doesn't work with some people's skin.

  • PRIMETIMECOLOGNE_FAN03/25/2004

this stuff is the worst of all time cheap as hell and lasts 2 hours my ex girlfriend wore the womens and i hate it everyone wears the womens and mens. i also think curve is almost as horrible but not quite only second class sewer water pass. thanks

  • MICHAEL02/12/2004

I've been wearning Lucky You since Christmas with a few compliments. Today, my totally good looking coworker phoned me in-house to find out what I was wearing.

  • STUEY10/02/2003

Imagine if you could actually smell it how nice it would be. Smells okay but I found that you had to spray and spray to smell it. As for unsophisticated, and all the other negative comments to each his own. What's sophisticated to one isn't necessarily sophisticated to someone else. Why would anyone bother buying something without trying?

  • JACK07/04/2003

Like the 4th of July. Clean and fresh, gets all the ladies asking me ooooo whats that you have on it smells so amazing.

  • FERNANDO05/02/2003

I think this cologne smells totally cheap and unsofisticated. It is not fresh like Aqua di Gio, nor low profile like CK Be and it's not classy like Gucci Envy. I mean, it doesn't belong anywhere among those kind of colognes. Maybe it's me, but there is something in it that I think is irritating. To be honest, I do think it smells cheap, but I have many reviews from people who loves it. If you are interested, I think you should first try a sample in your skin. Don't buy this one without trying first!

  • PS04/07/2003

Lucky You, like Arnold R said, smells like a woman's bar of fragrance soap. It is nice and clean and refreshing, and although some compare it to Curve, I would say that even though they may be a tiny bit similar, Lucky You is better and more fresh smelling. Lucky You, however, reminds me of all those colognes that all the kids in junior high school wear - for example, Candies, Polo Sport, Curve, etc. All in all, though, I would say Lucky You is a very fine scent.

  • JOE03/27/2003

I still need to see for myself on this one but. Amy really could still smell this one after 8 hours because some women have a stronger since of smell then others. Then there are others I know who think greats like Aqua Di Gio just smell like Tangerines, she dident like it enough so I dumped her right away.

  • EATON03/04/2003

There must be two versions of Lucky You if Amy's husband comes home after 8 hours and she still smells it and he didn't have to put more on. This is the lightest frangrance I have every smelled. Doesn't smell bad but it just doesn't last long no matter how much you apply.

  • ARNOLD R.02/27/2003

I don't know, it seems kind of light. It also smells a lot like I remember what Curve (Liz Claiborne 1996) smelled like. A lot. Perhaps a little less floral, and a little more sharp. Like a slightly more masculine Curve. I say slightly, because it still smells feminine to me. Kind of soapy, like a perfumed bath bar for women. Typical Liz Claiborne fragrance. Not bad, per se (I do remember that I liked Claiborne for Men [1989]), but as with all her fragrances that I remember, not real masculine. My girlfriend had some kind of spray ("Body Splash," or something like that) from Bath & Body Works called Cotton Blossom that smelled a lot like this as well (only a lot stronger. Lucky You has to be one of the weakest men's fragrances I've ever come across). The "Cotton Flower" headnote, I suppose. I guess I like the more masculine scents. This stuff barely registered in my olfactory sense. Maybe that was because the sample vial was so tiny, that I could barely get enough fragrance on to register. Cheap bastards. Maybe if I had more it would smell stronger. I don't think I want more, though -- I don't think "not enough" is really the problem here. It's just not for me. The more I smell it, the more I'm reminded of Curve, which, needless to say, I didn't care for either -- for all the same reasons I don't really like this one.

  • AMY02/27/2003

Oh and it lasts a long time too. I can smell it on him when he comes home from work after 8 hours!!! Very sexy!!!

  • AMY02/27/2003

All I can say is OH MY GOD!! This stuff is awesome and "Lucky" for me, my Hubby wears it!!!

  • CHULO02/04/2003

Smells alright. Be nice if it was more concentrated so it would last more than an hour.

  • VINCE01/31/2003

All the girls I talk to ask me what kind of cologne I am wearing! When I tell them they say it's the best cologne they've ever smelt!

  • FREDDY01/21/2003

Lucky if You don't buy it. It's way way too light and doesn't last.

  • PIERRE01/06/2003

This Cologne reeks, its limey, I should purchase it only for a toilet cleaner

  • MAN01/03/2003

Get a life Donny Boy, quit talkin' smack. LY rules with the ladies and it lasts fine.

  • MIKE12/29/2002

I was in a store the other day, standing next to some girls. And they were like "Man, That Cologne Smells GOOD". From then on, I have always had a bottle. Smells VERY Clean and isnt over-powering. Is in rotation. with my Acqui Di Gio, Dreamer and Candies.

  • MORGAN JONES12/28/2002
