Was a bit disappointed in this fragrance. It isn't unpleasant and has good staying power, it is just a bit ordinary, more one to wear in the daytime or to work.

Lately I have not been able to find myself a modern day perfume that I really like. I keep going back to the old favourites. I used to be a Cristalle girl but cannot afford it right now. I was happily trawling my favourite cosmetic web site and found they were selling Catalyst 100 mls for about £7!!!! some body sprays can cost £4!! I decided to buy it as it was so cheap and I am glad that I did. Its fresh and clean without the weird scents that younger people must like these days. You dont need much either will report back on any responses I get from other people. Its been years since my husband has commented positively on a perfume I wear and hes not shy about telling me when he hates a perfume. I will put him to the test on this one.

oo I like it! It's in between the super potent & hard to wear Narcisse Noir, and the oh so sweet vavoom ones like Boucheron. I like both of those, but not for everyday wear. Opening clear orangey sandalwood, heart is yummy complex but so smooth chypre, comfy.. not overly sweet or girly, base is a little softer. Not too overpowering sillage. All the notes get to play in this beautiful blend, and I like how the orangey smell keeps peeking out. What does Jonquil smell like?! Love the bottle, and the price.

WOW - headnotes smell amazing!!! Clean, green, floral, fruity?, sharp and breathtaking. Uncomplicated but complex. Strong and long-lasting American-style-fragrance! After 10 minutes the dry-down smells more subtle, creamy, cosy and warm. Beautiful feminine fragrance - I'm happy to have this rare bottle in my collection. A hard-to-find in Germany. Only via internet. I can recommend Catalyst. It not so mature/classic/serious like Halston classic (chypre), more uplifting and youthful. Yes, I like both. Enjoy.

Found this in my sisters collection and tried it. Boy was i surprised to find myself liking it very much. Don't like the other halston scents but this one is definitely very unique and smells very sophisticated!! oldie but goodie.

This is a great perfume to wear on first dates. It blowed my dates away.

i carefully applied one spray on my body and smelled wonderful for hours. a window opener type of fragrance when you first put it on. give it a try anyway.very unique.

Flower; apple; clean; green; sharp. I would classify it as a floral-green. I really like it. Too bad they discontinued it.

I turn heads when I wear this scent. Remember girls, "A perfume doesn't have to be expensive to do the trick!" A good perfume is a "good perfume," no matter what the cost.

Catalyst for women is the only fragrance I have worn lately that doesn't smell like something everyone else is wearing. It is the one I get the most compliments on and most people who have never smelled that scent before ask me..."Wow...what's that fragrance you're wearing?"
