Love this perfume! Subtle buts lasts all day. Constantly getting told what a lovely scent

Ellen Tracy is a staple in my fragrance collection! This is a very elegant and soft fragrance - I've gone thru countless bottles! Love it!

I've been an ET fan for years and like many was crushed when it was no longer available. I'd used very sparingly trying to make it last. Then one day found it in Marshall's at a wonderful price. Bought 5 boxed bottles. Even found body lotion and wash recently. Order Cream online at regular price somewhere. Delighted it's available again. Like having a "signature" scent at my age.....

I'm in agreement with several comments. I too wish once a good and favorite product is made that it remains on the market. I love the scent of Ellen Tracy. I got this perfume back in the 90's, it's a great scent.

I am 68yrs. old. My daughter gave me a bottle of Ellen Tracy the orginial and I love it and so does everyone else. I have look for it just recently for several people and was told I couldn't get the orginal. Mine has last nearly four years because I love it so much I saved it for special ocassions, Now I can't get it, WHY?

I was so disappointed to find out they discontinued ET.. I love this perfume.. my all time favorite..i will be ordering soon....and I always recieve compliments from Men and women ..

If you like the original ET fragrance, try Dress Barn's "Shine on Me." They smell VERY similar. (I love it, too)

Honestly, I really don't understand this whole perfume game, now you smell it...now you don't. Why would so many wonderful & well loved fragrances, be discontinued? It doesn't make sense, it is completely obnoxious already. It seems to be all the good ones, because there are quite a few that wouldn't be missed, that still exist. Seems like some manipulative game being played. Personally, I'm tired of it. Stop the tweaking & discontinuing of our beloved fragrances!!! Whoever are making these ridiculous decisions, should start making better ones!!

You and another on line site are the only places I can find this perfume. It is my favorite, the new Tracy scent does nothing for m I tried it until I found the web sites. Thank you very much for carrying this. What do I do when you no longer carry it, is it true thats its being taken off the market? I get compliments all day every where I go, people tell me how wonderful I smell, Men and Women, it love the stuff I use the Body Cream then the Perfume. Thank you.

If you want a perfume that is clean, crisp and wonderful, yet understated, this is the perfume for you. I receive comments each time I wear it, and I wear it every day.

I, too, love this perfume and lament it's passing. Has anyone found anything at all similar? I've sniffed at hundreds of perfumes and can't find one I like nearly as well.

I cannot understand by designers of any field discover/invent, whatever get you hooked on something and then, poof, discontinue it. I will not buy the new Ellen Tracy; it doesn't nothing for me.

I sprayed the perfume on me as I normally do and the next day my skin was burned and is now peeling. Has anyone ever had this problem? The smell is beautiful and I love the bottle but I'm not sure how this burn could have happened. Any ideas?

I am 33 and I found this fragrance a couple of years ago before they took it away. I finally found a scent that is me. I love it and get compliments on it all the time. I have yet to find something that I like as well. I want to always have ET. Please bring it back. I don't even like the new one.

Ellen Tracy by far is my favorite perfume. I am so glad I can still purchase it online. I was devasted when I went to a department store and they discontinued the product. I NEVER want to be without it. I wear it all of the time any season.

I've been wearing ET for about three years now and haven't come close to finding anything I love as much. I never get tired of it. I feel my "best" when I'm wearing this scent. It's both flowery and spicy but not heavy. I get compliments on it all the time.

This scent is pungent and fruity. Almost smells like Juicy Fruit gone bad, guess it's my body chemistry. My BF bought me this for my Bday last year. I haven't used it, since. Today, I accidently layered it with a peach scented lotion with it, and it smells amazing. Alone, it's yucko!

I had to ask a co-worker what she was wearing becouse it smelled so good. It smells like cotton candy or something sweet. This is for anyone who wants to feel sexy and confident. Its not to strong. Ellen Tracy is definetally one of my best fragrances I have purchased.

I've been using this scent since it 1st came out. It's my favorite - by a land slide! Two male co-workers always sit next to me in meetings because they say they love this scent so much. My husband never gets tired of it... it's a keeper for life!! :)

I am a long standing customer of ellen tracy boby wash, cologne, etc. and I recently ran out of my cologne. I was in the department store, asked for my ellen tracy. I was given a bottle (silver look with pink insert). I said, this does not look like my usual product, and the clerk said this is a new packaging. I brought it home and the frangrance is not the same as the "old" et. On the bottom of the container is says TRACY in bold letters and ellen tracy under. Help, this is horrible and I am using it just to spray anything to get rid of it.

Until now Chanel No.5 and Victoria by Victoria's Secret were my favorite scents. When I smelled Ellen Tracy it blew me away !!!!!! I love this perfume. I've never loved any fragrance like this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the gift set and love it. The scent is very fragrant and I have been complimented on it quite frequently. I would definitely buy it again !!!!!

I just tried this scent for the first time recently and I love it. I was with my 15 yr. old daughter at the time and I told her I thought I had died and gone to perfume heaven! She goes for girly-girl scents--she adores Paris Hilton--so this was not something she would ever wear. This would not be a summer scent for me, but a beautiful, spicy winter scent. I would compare it to Youth Dew a little bit if that helps. It's hot and humid right now but I really look forward to wearing this in few weeks with my fall sweaters. If you like a spicy, oriental scent then you will love Ellen Tracy.

I recieved a sample of your newiest perfume sample clear sample bottle with black letters with tracy tracy ellen on it. It smells like it has jasmin,maybe coconut it smells really fresh. i wanted to see if you could send me some samples please.

My son gave me a gift set about 4 years ago and I just love it. Always getting compliment on how good I spell. Now having a hard time finding. Also would like to find this fragrance in candle. I had it all--perfume, body creme, body lotion, bath gel, bath powder & candle. Now I can only find the fragrance and body lotion online. Please bring it back to the stores!!!

I was wrong...it's not mouthwash it smells like, it's mentholatum. Smells a lot like Vicks Vapor Rub and burns my nose just like it too.

Great perfume if you don't mind smelling like mouthwash. So disappointed in this fragrance. Bought it after reading all the great reviews here...should have tried to find a sample first.

FYI--this is not the first "Ellen Tracy" scent. The original Ellen Tracy was introduced in late '91 or early '92 and is my favorite scent of all time. Unfortunatly it was soon discontinued. I was so excited when I thought they had brought it back--I just assumed the packaging had been updated & so I ordered a bottle. Big mistake. Although this new fragrance is nice, it's a been bland and has the distinct waft of an Avon perfume. It doesn't hold a candle to the original.

Just about killed me when I got a whiff from sample in magazine. Gave me a terrific headache. How do women wear this?

Sampled this at a store, and within minutes was receiving compliments on it. I think this very appropriate for the office or a casual evening out. Nice all around fragrance.

The Ellen Tracy scent is both seductive and memorable in its unique blend of flowers, fruits, and spices. Notes of Cinnamon, Peach, Rose, Jasmine, Freesia, Carnation, Cedar, Sandalwood, and Tonka Bean.

Tried it, but scent is barely there - not unpleasant, but not noticible, sort of ho hum. I'll stick to Spellbound

Way high on my list of must haves. Not overpowering but is long lasting. Would describe it as intriguingly seductive. Though you aren't conscious of its fragrance on you, those around you enjoy it.

Oh my, since I discovered this scent I have gone wild for it. It is simultaneously gentle and powerful. The scent could be a bit more potent, but I still love it. People compliment me whenever I wear it, and always inquire as to what it is that I'm wearing. This is one of my absolute favorites! Although the bottle does not handle well in my small hands; I have difficulty gripping it properly to spray it. Something about the wider width at the bottom throws my grip off.

The Ltd Edition smells very similar to Flower by Kenzo, in the clear bottle w/ the red flower.

Shannon I totally agree with u.I love ellen tracy, but can't smell it on me after 10 mins.Big waste of money.I have body wash and lotion as well as body cream , but nothing works - not even layering.How ever since hubby is very sensitive to perfumes, I can wear this one liberally and still not offend his olfactory senses.

luv the cinnamon. has a way of turning on the heat. cinnamon no 1 scent that attracts men. attraction not promotion. very nice.

I honestly thought I would love this as it has exactly the same notes as spellbound, vendetta, organza, knowing and others It is so not there, you spray it and I had to sniff my wrist very hard to even know it was there. very disappointing smells lovely but It has no smell at all if you know what I mean. I guess Ill just keep it and wear it round home.

This is definitely one of those perfumes which you should test before buying it. When I first smelled it, it was divine. However, on my skin, it soon became ... hmmm ... no better way to put it ... mouth-wash minty. Yep, it definitely smelled very different on my skin. This perfume is not for everyone so just make sure that it is the one for you.

If you like Ellen Tracey you should try Burberry by Burberry. This too is a wonderful scent and is similar in its' simplicity and sweetness.

This fragrance will have the men swooning, believe me. My guy loves it, like putty in my hands when I use the lotion and cologne. I never fail to get compliments when I wear it even from the shy guys I work with. The best thing is I like the way this smells on me, too and the scent it leaves on my clothing. The only other fragrance that seems to have this effect is Love Spell by Victoria's Secret. Ellen has a customer in me for a long time to come.

I really did not like this one - too weet and sickly on me. I had to wash it off, it made me so nauseous.

This is a very nice perfume. It is a light floral with a hint of spice. A nice everyday, any weather perfume. It is not overpowering or strong but stays well. One of my favorites.

I still have 3 bottles of the original Ellen Tracy (by Ellen Tracy). I will cherish them for how ever long they last. The new one by Linda Allard is so, so - not - exceptional. It's a shame they stopped making the original with all its complex rich notes.

I think Ellen Tracy by Ellen Tracy is a great perfume. Recently I have decided to buy another one (by Linda Allard). I was so dissapointed and regreted very much I didn't pay more attention to Cindy Lynne's message. She was 100% right. This version of Ellen Tracy is not horrible but much more dull than Ellen Tracy by Ellen Tracy. Also, it has some component I can't stand.

Perfection is the word I use to describe how Ellen Tracy smells on me. I have never NOT got a compliment while wearing it from both men and women. They all want to know what this yummy scent is. :) This is the only scent I wear now other than Burberry. It's perfect for day/night and all seasons! It isn't a scent for everyone though with a scent smelling different on each individual. My sis-in-law just can't wear it. But it mixes perfectly with my own skin oils evidently and I am SO glad!! If they ever stop making this...I'll be up S.C. ;) Thank you so much for a perfect scent!

I love this fragrance---when I can smell it. I wonder that if it blends well with your chemistry, you CAN'T smell it on yourself. My friends say that it is MY smell. Great, if that is what I smell like!

I do not care for the Linda Allard version of this scent. It is harsh, while the regular ET is very soft and warm.

I just love the fragrance and have been wearing it in the fall and winter since it first came out. I was in Hudson Belk today and the fragrance salesperson told me that Belk is going to stop carrying Ellen Tracy. She also said she was wondering if maybe this scent is being discountinued. Has anyone heard this? I'm going to be upset if this is the case. I love this fragrance.

I so wanted to like this product but unfortunately I couldn't smell it. Literally seconds after I sprayed it, it was gone and I sprayed it heavily. I've tried this product four times and each time the scent gets soaked up by my skin in seconds. I won't rate it because I really don't know if it smells good or bad because I never get to smell it.

When I first sprayed this perfume I detected a cut grass like smell, but, after wearing for 15 minutes I feel in love with the scent. Now I can't decide between Ellen or Manifesto

I have to admit that I don't like the fact that department stores such as Sears sells this fragrance among other well known ones, it cheapens the designer's name some how when the fragrance becomes so main stream.

After reading all the wonderful comments about this fragrance, I purchased a bottle. I was thrilled when I received it. But one minute after I sprayed it, I could no longer smell it. I thought it was just me. But none of my students could smelll it on me either. I then sprayed it on my clothes. Still no fragrance lingered as it usually does. My boy friend ask me if I forgot to put on any perfume when we were going out. And I had sprayed it liberally. Even my co-workers could not smell it. I am totally disgusted. I am taking it back to the store today. It does have a lovely smell when sprayed but it just doesn't last!

I totally agree with you. I feel different about this fragrance now that...WHATEVER!!!! That is so ridiculous! I happened to purchase my ET gift set at Dillards, however if I'd found the exact same set at Walgreens, I would have bought it there. I'm curious as to how you discovered this rather SHOCKING revelation hmmmm??? ;-p

I stopped wearing this fragrance when I noticed that Sears dept. store was selling it. The fragrance lost it's mystique in my eyes, it's a shame and a bit superficial to think in that way, but I can't help it!

Ellen Tracy is wonderful; I love it and was so glad to find it, as it reminds me of my beloved, discontinued Fila for Women. I just sampled Linda Allard last Saturday and it's gorgeous. It's Ellen Tracy plus some vanilla to make it just a bit warmer. A truly beautiful fragrance. So sorry it's a Limited Edition. They really should keep producing it.

One of my best friends asked for cologne this Christmas. She had been wearing e'Ete but wanted a change, and wanted to wear something I liked. I love Chloe --- she doesn't. I knew on my own I would pick something feminine, floral, and subdued but not powdery. I really liked Gorgeous, 5th Avenue, and Curve. (In men's colognes I like Curve, Hugo, Lolita Lempika, and Angel.) When I smelled Ellen Tracy, I kept coming back. In a blind test with the clerk helping me, I picked the limited edition over the original, but both are very, very nice. I cannot stand an attack cologne, and I wanted something that would make me want to smell it over and over. I encourage everyone to give Ellen Tracy a try.

I like Ellen Tracy a lot! I thought it would become my signature fragrance. Then comes the Limited Edition of Ellen Tracy/Linda Allard. It's better than Ellen Tracy and I didn't think that would happen. Again, it's a limited edition. Can't find it anywhere here on the net. If you find it, you're going to LOVE it!! :) I found it at Macy's. The lotion and fragrance set is $48. I just bought another set. The fragrance only is $48!!

I have to agree with "PERFUMENUT"... This is Chaos born again.... I love this fragrance.

It does smell an awful lot like Chaos by Donna Karen. One of my favorite discontinued scents, not exactly but as close as you will ever get. If you love Chaos then buy ellen tracy, its fantastic and im very very picky of my fragrances, this one is my favorite next to Angel, all my others are getting pitched and this is my new one!!! deffinatly worth a shot! try it out

This perfume has a unique smell. It clean and fresh, with a hint of vanilla. It's a smell that lingers but is not too strong. A very pleasant smell.

This one has it all! It is softly sexy, beautifully balanced, and long lasting.

I wear Ellen Tracy as well as Happy by Clinique and Pleasures by Estee Lauder, but I get the most compliments by far when I wear Ellen Tracy.

This is a nice perfume...kinda musky, kinda rosey, kinda woodsy. I like it!

This is one of the best smelling perfumes I've ever smelled! I was in the mall trying on about 10 different scents and as soon as I smelled this one I knew it would be one that I would buy over and over again. It has a very sensual, romantic smell to it. If you like 5th Avenue, you'll definitely love this!

I was first turned on to this scent via a magazine sample. WOW! I had to have it! I wore it Christmas day and everyone wanted to know what it was, where I got it, etc. They loved it! (But not as much as I do!) This scent goes with everything and to anywhere. It's not over-powerful, it's perfect!

I love this scent. Everytime I find one I like it's discontinued (i.e. Tribu by Benneton; Vivid by Liz Claiborne.) Please everyone, buy this one often so the manufactures know that its wonderful stuff.

I do like this fragrance; however, if you already have Lancome's Tresor, choose another fragrance. Ellen Tracy smells too much like Tresor.

Never is it too strong for daytime. It is exquisite morning, noon, night. A gal said she kept coming back to where my desk was located to get another whiff of someones wonderful perfume, I told her come closer and sure enough, it was mine, Ellen Tracy! Everyone loves it!

I love many different perfumes but my husband has severe allergies so I try to go easy around him. I've always been disappointed that there has never been one that he can tolerate enough to comment positively on however, that all changed recently. I've had ET for about nine months now and just the other day he asked what I was wearing and said it was nice. I had applied it a few hours earlier so it had time to soften up but regardless, he liked it. Ellen Tracy is one of my personal favorites and now I have one more reason to sing it's praises.

This perfume is the best I have found so far and I LOVE perfume. I get compliments from both men and women. I do have to remind myself that although I can't smell the perfume on myself, others can!

If you must purchase this fragrance buy the smallest size. It seems lovely and sweet at first, but it can grow on you after a while. I had to return mine because it made me a little nausous after a while. Too sweet for me and i LOVE sweet perfumes!

It is a wonderful fragrance.It is light and airy but also very distinctive.I get a lot of complements when I wear it. I have tried many of the top fragrances but I when I found Ellen Tracy I quit trying the others.

I dislike strong, sweet, smells and this one is musky,woodsy,and spicy. But Light and sexy. people stop me and ask what it is and men just go crazy over it. It is the first fragrance I have found that I adore in years It is fabulous. The prices on here are excellent compared to the department stores. I highly recommend it to women who don't like strong sweet perfume..

This is my favorite "autumn" scent. Since I like to wear my perfumes seasonally, this one is my favorite one for fall. Brings some happy memories and I love it :)

For those out there who loved Donna Karan's 'Chaos' (but of course can't get it anymore since they discontinued it), this fragrance is about as close as you can get--spicy, woody; very similar in many ways. I highly recommend this perfume.
