Dear Maya, you wrote a nice review. Masquerade is a beautiful soft-fruity-woody-oriental, a very feminine fragrance. Uncomplicated and delicious!!! I can smell peach, apple, roses, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. The drydown is wonderful powdery and I find it similar to TRESOR by Lancome. Maybe there is a similarity to Burberry classic (apple/musk) too? Not a spectacular fragrance, but very pleasant and comforting. Here a description by Jan Moran: Masquerade by Bob Mackie for Women. I recently bought a Mackie EDT, which I loved a lot. The lasting power is fabulous. I would like to know if Masquerade has the same quality and lasting power. Can anyone help?

I have finally found this in a store that usually carries fragrances which have been long discontinued by big department stores.... wonderful smell.BUT LOUD.WISH I HAD BEEN WARNED BEFORE I BOUGHT.keep this in mind when selecting products and using.

I absolutely love this perfume. The bottle that I bought in the store is almost empty but I can't find it in the stores anymore. I'm so glad I found this sight so that I can stock up. I bought some for my mom, grandma, and sister and they all love it. It is one of my all time favorites! What a wonderful scent!

I was given a bottle a Masquerade Perfume about 8 to 10 years back but the only name on it was Masquerade is this the same or is there an older one?????Please let me know [email protected]

I was able to buy the large bottle at a very reasonable price on ebay. When I received it, I was very dissappointed at first impression because I thought it smelled a lot like the cheap drugstore perfume "exclamation" which I dislike. I gave it a few days and now I love it! It is a very soft and powdery scent. Feminine and lovely. Hard to find in stores though, probably only get it online. I think it has been discontinued.

Why did you quit selling this perfume? I really liked it and I don't like to buy anything over the computer, but I might be forced to anyway...

I wonder if somebody could give me an idea of notes/drydown etc? I live in Scotland and although Perfume Emporium will not take online International credit card orders (PLEASE change this policy!), I have access to several websites which sell this. I have no clue as to how it smells amd rely totally on you girls who post here to guide me. I love Gale Hayman Delicious, Chopard Madness, Lolita Lempicka and Aromatics by Clinique as a guideline. Hope you can help!

its a stinkbomb experiment gone horribly wrong! the only way you can pull off this masquerade is if you go as a skunk....an evil, evil "perfume"

All I wear is Bob Mackie fragrances. I have all of them. November 2000, I was in a wedding in Negril Jamaica and one day I went shopping with a group of friends and saw an advertisement for the new Bob Mackie fragrance, Masquerade. I immediately broke off from the group and went into the store to get a sample. Once I smelled it, I was hooked. I purchased a bottle and in June 2001, I'll be visiting again. I will purchase the LARGEST bottle they make. I absolutely love this fragrance. People stop me all the time and ask "What are you wearing"? I smells wonderful. I recommend that all women try it!!!
