Good Lord! No pliers I own could remove that dang chain! I tried forever, until finally the lower ring that holds the chain itself snapped in half! Thank heavens for small favors. Now I don't feel like Jacob Marley every time I grab the bottle.

Thank you posters for your advice on Chaleur! I tried it based on your comments and I love it! This is a very unusual scent. Although descriptions say it is a watery-green floral (which I usually never like), Chaleur smells very sexy at the same time. It has a sneaks-up-on-you warmth that blends seamlessly with the floral-green notes, and together, creates a lovely fragrance. I have to say though, the chain on the bottle is kind of dumb; I'll have to find some pliers somewhere . . .

when I tried it in the store, I loved it! Bought it right away. But now I don't like it at all. It smells cheap to me. It gave me the worst headache I've ever had. Too bad, a lot of people love it.

I thought this was a very nice light fragrance that stayed with me but was not overpowering. Great for daywear

Chaleur has a nice scent better than the other fragrances from animale which are too stong

My husband really likes this one. However, I don't. It is too flowery, too "perfumey", it smells typical and it gives me a headcahe.

This smells really cheap,like the spa scents from Victoria's Secret that were discontinued a couple of years ago.

I saw an add on an airplane magazine - I loved the add and the name (Animal Heat) and wanted to see what it smelled like. I looked for it in N.Y., Rome, Capri and Puerto Rico and could not find it. Finally I found it on the internet and just had to order it, regardless of what it was going to smell like.... I love it and and have gotten hungry reactions from the men around me when I wear it. Maybe it brings out the animal in me.......

THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST PERFUME I EVER SMELLED. I'VE REC'DOUNTLESS COMPLIMENTS ON IT.
