On its own this stuff is not appealing. Somehow added Kenzo over the top of it and the two together...wow.

  • BILL BUCKNER05/04/2007

A**!!! this stuff smells terrible. Reminds me of my great great great grandfathers bathroom.

  • TONY T06/19/2006

and this one is no different. good uplifting strong but not overbearing scent.

A very good sleeper this Jivago hit is. Spicy, woody, ambery with some luscious vanilla make this great for day or night. Luxury, sophistication............and it's not Chanel, Armani, Cole or Mont Blanc.

Attractive sharp, oriental spicy/woody cologne is a good sleeper from the designer and is in the ballpark of hits like Opium, Cacharel, Egoiste Platinum, Boucheron and Jaipur.

  • A. BOREALIS12/11/2005

Nicely powered and sharp oriental fragrance from not-so-popular fragrance designer Jivago is a good money-savings if you're into the likes of Boucheron.

  • ORIENTAL FREAK11/04/2005

I do agree with a couple of the posts that it smells similar to Boucheron/Jaipur and Opium with its sharp, oriental and kind of powdery feel. If you like those other colognes, try this one and save some money.

Fabulous oriental fragrance starts out pretty sharp but dries down to a nice woody and luscious vanilla.

  • JULIAN C. STRATUSON08/03/2005

A bit sharp at first but the drydown makes all the difference with this rather unknown aroma from Llana. A sleeper of a scent that almost every woman around me wherever I go compliments me on.

After purchasing a few hundred bottles of colongs in my life time, the Jivago 7 Elements would rank as my number one choice. I have never been more complimented over a colonge as I have with 7 Elements.

At first, this scent kind of reminded me of my Boucheron that I had given up to my father who also agreed that it was a bit too sharp and powerful. But as the drydown started going into effect, it converted over into a nice, soft, and sensual vanilla aroma which was pleasing to me as well as some of my female co-workers. Nice job, Jivago.
