This scent is very clean and crisp and rather unisex. Excellent for casual and office wear. I get many compliments when I wear this scent.
at first it was lovely -- a really fresh citrus with a light sandalwood that grew. that is a clever combination - fruit/sandalwood. but after a few wearings, it got a shallow, cheap tinge to it. Maxim's Orphee (HARD to get. harnetts (?) in harvard square, cambridge, has it for mega bucks) is the same theme, but done better -- watermelon/citrus, very refreshing, great for hot, gross, muggy summer day when everything smells bad. this felt like a poor cousin. but it isn't terrible, and you can get some great deals on it. and i may come back to liking it more...
I just received this today and I'm a little disappointed. It's not bad but it's boring and average on me. It reminds me of CK one which is very boring and overdone. Maybe it will get better the longer I wear it. I'm still waiting for the floral and spicey notes to come up. So far it's just watery and nondescript.
I just love Fujiyama! When I put it on I just get such a good feeling from the fresh, orange blossom top notes - it makes me feel so positive and opimistic. And then it melts into the rich spice and floral notes: jasmine, cardamon, and warm nutmeg with a background of sandalwood, cedar and woody notes that last and last...It always makes me feel so peaceful to wear it, so happy. I also like to use it at night to relax, just as aromatherapy after a hard day...
I purchased this fragrance for myself but after my husband and son smelled it...I lost it to them..men love it also.
I bought this on the lower east side of Manhattan which is famous for perfumes anda man insisted I try it and my husband and I loved it and I am on my second bottle, it is frsh and neat and people like it,the price is escellent--Leah F.
