  • LISA02/22/2014

Love this perfume. I first bought it in 2012 and up to now I don't but any other perfume. It's freaking gorgeous!

  • DIANE03/02/2013

i have got pink sugar on its way to me. i love the way it keeps the long lasting smell. i have nothing against it at all BRILLIANT)

  • BRENDA MCCORMACK01/12/2013

If you like sweet smelling perfume this scent is gorgeous. It has a sweet, sugary musk like scent.

  • MARY09/03/2012

this perfume, is a little on the sweet side, but I don't mind it for summer, as its light and fresh.

  • DONNA COLLETT07/10/2012

this perfume is so delicious and yummy i think everyone who likes sweet childhood memories of candy floss and caramel should buy this i have had comment after comment about his perfume it is a must.

  • SONYA01/21/2012

I really like this perfume. It does smell quite sweet out of the bottle. That's when I notice the "cotton candy" scent that everyone describes. But it dries down to a nice warm caramelized sugar scent with floral undertones. The "sweet" factor really dies down after the first 5 minutes or so. It's actually a lot more complex than it's usually described. Still, if you don't like perfumes on the sweet side, don't bother. It's sweet, just not overly so, after the first few minutes.

  • BECKY08/10/2011

Pink Sugar on me does not smell childish at all. I've been wearing Pink Sugar for over a year and adore it's rich vanilla scent, on me it's calming and comforting, it really is not candyish or very sweet on me at all. My husband loves this perfume on me, he also likes Alien and Hypnotic Poison but Pink Sugar is his and my favorite. I think some of the reviews on the site are very amusing perople really do get riled up over perfume (silly maybe...but true). Perfume should be personal, if YOU like it then who gives a fig what anyone else thinks. Everyone should also keep in mind that most perfumes will NOT smell exactly the same on every woman (or man) who wears it, something that smells bad on you can and will smell much better on someone else, it's all about personal body chemistry. Smile...and enjoy whatever scents you love but don't get all uppety if what you can't stand is someone elses favorite.

  • DANIELLE05/01/2011

this is my fave perfume but it wears off fast which is nice so it doesnt over power people. I love the hair perfume made by pink sugar as well

  • JULIE RAWLINGS12/20/2010

I bought this without smelling it first, as people kept saying it smelt like cotton candy, which over here is candy flosd, when it arrived I was really disappointed, doesn't smell like candyfloss at all, more like chocolate and when I first sprayed it, it smelt off, as someone else mentioned here. I wasted my money.

  • SEXY KITTEN11/30/2010

I originally tossed this one off as a little girl scent and gave it to my 9 year old but one day she sprayed it on herself and I loved it so much! Though not a complex scent in any way, I love the way it makes me feel...I ended up buying my own 100ml bottle, along with the body mousse and the hair perfume. It smells like candy, cupcakes, vanilla pudding, happy, fun filled days and warm summer nights...who wouldn't want all that?? My new fave.

  • S'ME11/20/2009

I bought some on holiday - really like it but after about 5 mins there is a weird smell , seems off - but then that disappears and it is nice again - anybody else had this problem?

  • PERFUME JUNKIE09/18/2009

I love sweet, oriental frags, but this is plain candy floss in a bottle. Too girlie, Barbie sweet.

  • DARLENE ALDRIDGE05/01/2009

I'm 52 & discovered this scent a couple years ago. WOW! is all I can say! I LOVE IT ! ! ! It smeels like a young scent but who cares? It makes me feel young. I always get compliments when I wear it from young & old. It just plain smells good. Try It...you'll like it!

  • TRACEY02/22/2009

I love this; wear it often as an "everyday" scent and get compliments. However, I've had the same problem with every bottle that I have purchased. After about ten uses, the sprayer on top of the bottle becomes loose and the liquid runs out the top as I "spritz". I end up with Pink Sugar on my hands and running down the side of the bottle. Anyone else have this issue?

  • CHEE CHEE01/25/2009

It seems so heavenly and devine and i love the scent it seems soooooo sweet if you love sweets then this is for you. also gale haymen cotton candy is simular in scent.

  • SYLVIE10/15/2008

I love this fruity, gourmand, oriental PINK SUGAR from the first sniff. It's a cheeky, delicious sweet and warm fragrance. But no fun-fragrance!More a modern and edible oriental!!! It's not very well-known here in Germany. - Because my husband loves PINK SUGAR sooo much - I wear it very often ;-). We enjoy this nice scent a lot. Happy sniffing.

  • SARA10/13/2008

This perfume is horrible...way too sweet smelling.

  • SARA10/11/2008

This perfume was very disappointing. I thought it smelled too sweet and was surprised at the rave reviews it has been given.

  • REBECCA08/23/2008

I normally detest sweet sugar or candy scents like this one. And I held out for some years before trying it. I now think I might actually buy a bottle for fun. My tastes have changed. I'm 26, so the sweetness isn't so bad for my age. It's so popular though, the downfall of it being worn is it's gotten played out. Maybe it smells different on some people? It will probably end up being my signature scent, go figure. The bottle is pretty cute, love the pink ribbon. These people know how to package huh?

  • MANDY08/11/2008

wow this is one of my favorites!! it is super sweet though, but is not too intense. The scent fades a bit quickly. I love it! It first starts out smelling just like a carnival! Sweet caramel corn, kettle corn, cotton candy and butter!! Then fades into almost a citrusy patchouli smell. Truly amazing. Even better layered with the scented lotion. WARNING!! The lotion tastes horrible!!!! Dont touch your mouth after putting it on before washing your hands.

  • PERFUMEJUNKIE07/27/2008

I hate this. It smells like candy floss in a bottle. I like sweet, oriental scents, but this is just plain candy. I work at a cosmetics/fragrance emporioum and when I see giddy teens making a bee-line for this, I think "Figures." Sorry. I don't mean to offend anyone, but this is just sweetly sick stuff.

  • PERFUMEJUNKIE07/17/2008

Sorr. Got to agree with all those who gave this one star. I hate it. It's candy floss in a bottle. I work in a cosmetics shop and we carry this ... unfortunately. Usually, those who go for it are teenagers and below. I love sweet, oriental fragances. But this one is neither. It's just candy. Just my VERY personal opinion, mind.

  • SUSAN-MARIE07/17/2008

I just love this perfume. I'm not into musky or flowery perfume. Have been looking for just this perfect perfume and Pink Sugar is it!!

  • MANDY07/11/2008

I love this pefume. For those who are rediculously accusing all of the women who wear it of being "childish", give me a break. I would rather smell like cotton candy than some stuffy old lady "mature" perfume. This perfume is sweet, yet very light and airy sweet. It is very nice smelling, and i will continue to wear it. HIghly recommended!

  • DMARIE06/13/2008

Smells good! Exactly like gale hayman's delicious cotton candy love em' both.

  • DMARIE06/11/2008

If you like this then try gale hayman's delicious cotton candy perfume ii is cheaper with a cotton candy scent and it lasts all day for real! (gale hayman delicious cotton candy)

  • NEE05/29/2008

I bought this perfume because of all the raves i hear about it on websites. But wow, i never thought it'd be this bad! It smells like burnt cookies and its soo sweet that it gave me a migraine (i kid you not). it smells cheap and kiddy. I do love sweet scents but this one was just so unpleasant. Something i'd recommend as an alternative is midnight fantasy. it's sweet but it smells classy also. and best of all it doesnt give me headaches. I guess it's just not for me.

  • 29 AND HOLDING04/27/2008

Hello?! Are you people that are saying Pink Sugar is too youthful from another planet? I am hanging on tooth and nail to my youth. If you want to be an old decrepit old lady then have at it. I respect your opinion on the perfume, but calling it too youthful is just plain weird. When did youth go out and old come in? I guess the senior citizen discount is just too appealing to some of you old bags.

  • WANNA BE A BUNNY04/27/2008

I recently went to the Playboy Club in Las Vegas. The Bunnies smelled great! I asked one of them what she was wearing and she told me Pink Sugar. I immediately went out and bought some. Now I smell like a PB Bunny too!!! :) All I need now is a tail and ears!

  • DEEDEE03/27/2008

I bought this as a pick me up scent. I wore it to work everyone liked it but not for everyday. It is really SWEET. Someone posted they were told they smell like the midway. Yep it's exactly like that. It's fun for once and a while, but not my normal type of scent.

  • ROCKI02/02/2008

Personally it's a scent that I associate with young girls, but the trend for these scents are starting to change. Alot of more exotic or incense based scents are starting to emerge, and thank goodness for that. It's time that we got back to that again. There will always be scents like Pink Sugar out there, but who cares? As long as we get other choices to wear what we like, and the market won't be saturated with this stuff like it has been, I'm fine with it.

  • EVELYN01/23/2008

From the first time I tried it I had to have it. It's a scent you either love or hate, if you hate it then move on.

  • BRANDY01/08/2008

WHOEVER DOESN'T LIKE THIS LOVELY PERFUME IS CRAZY. anyone know? do they sell this perfume by he gallon? If so please let me know because i ADORE IT

  • SARAH01/08/2008

Pink sugar is the best scent I ever tried in my life which is 36 years. I have around 20 bottles of the so called best like dkny lancome ect, nothing compares to this. This unreal sooooo addicting just like the best candy you ever tasted and more, nothing cheap or loud about this perfume it's ultra feminie like no other and classy sexy sweet pretty and sooooo young . but not too young . forever 21`is what i would age this scent. I'LL BE WEARING THIS AT 95

  • DEBBIE01/05/2008

This perfume is beautiful, it's for the girl who lovs flowers and candy and everything sweet and pretty, TOMBOYS DON'T BUY THIS ONE YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED IF YOUR A TOMBOY TYPE

  • J.RIV12/14/2007

I knew of this fragrance prior to me hating it. I sampled it and to be honest, it is not a scent. BUT!! Is a bad perfume. The first time I smelled it on a female was at the mall. Some girl had applied the bottle right before she left the house. It was terribly sweet and gave me a powerful headache ( One of the ones where it is like right in the middle of your cranium.. you know the one where it hurts so bad a 100 cc's of Morphine couldnt subside the pain?). Then my secoond encounter was at school. This fat girl wearing her pants far too tight, her shirt was as loud as her voice was as she spoke on the phone. All in all it is like being pissed on by the gingerbread man..

  • PIX11/21/2007

I have to say after many of cabinets of perfume that this is by far my favorite. Although I'm 36 years old, it does not feel like the perfume is too young for me, in fact I get compliments all the time. So to those who say act your age, you can be a little more adventurous. ;)

  • PINKY11/09/2007

I have worn this for a few years and have always received compliments. Like any scent, your body chemistry will affect how a fragrance smells on one person to the next. On me, it is light, a mix of vanilla and spice but I don't have the hints of licorice that another user reported. However, on a friend of mine you can definitely smell that tone! Isn't that crazy? To Boho Chic, the thick floral scents that linger well after the woman has left the scene are vile, and simply because someone would find a light sweet scent appealing does not make them - in this case men you refer to - a child molester. Seriously, that was a gross comment and had NOTHING to do with rating the product.

  • DREMA10/18/2007

My husband of 37 years loves it & I get lots of other men asking me about it. My sister likes it. I really don't smell it except the powder.I'm getting it for X Mas gifts.

  • SEA MAIDEN09/20/2007

I got this as a sample on eBay because I heard it was like Britney Spears's Fantasy, which I love. And while the two scents are both sweet, this one just didn't do it for me. I feel like it smells too strongly of licorice and lollipops, and I'm not a huge fan of either of those. I don't think it's just how it smells on me either because that's how it smells to me right out of the bottle. Then again, maybe we all have different senses of smell. But as for me, it makes me a little nauseous. The sample came with a sample of the bath mousse as well, which is a bit more subtle than the perfume itself, but still reminds me of licorice. Fantasy, on the other hand, smells tastier to me, like cupcakes with vanilla frosting, yet in a very subtle way. Go with that one if you want a baked goods kind of fragrance. But if you'd prefer to smell like candy, stick with Pink Sugar. It's just a matter of taste, really.

  • GODDESS08/31/2007

If the way to a man's heart is through is stomach, this is the scent of a lifetime. I purchased a bottle about a month ago and it is about half gone. Women who have such disgusting comments about the perfume don't realize or understand that perfume reacts to your skin's chemistry. So if you say is stinks it is probably because you stink. I love the perfume and men will perfer a woman who smells sweet as opposed to those overpowering noxious pseudosophisticated scents by the top designers. Love it and fully endorse it!!!

  • BOHO CHIC08/22/2007

If you want to smell like you rolled around in cotton candy and burned popcorn, buy this stuff. You should *only* smell this at a carnival, not on your body! Not seductive in the least. Any "man" who would be turned on by this scent is probably chasing down the local teeny boppers at the mall. Should only be worn by those under age 13. I'm 27 and would be embarrassed to smell like this!

  • ANNABELLE08/12/2007

I haven't tried this but it seems to turn up favorably in many reviews. I'm not sure how something that smells like a bakery, as one reviewer put it, can be sexy as well...?? Is it similar to Britney Spears' Fantasy? Maybe I'll try it at the mall sometime just for grins. I'm 39 thought-maybe it's too young for me. Anyone?

  • BARBARA07/24/2007

If they ever stop making Pink Sugar I will just die. It has become my signature scent and drives men crazy, especially my husband! When I wear it, the smell reminds me of being a little girl and playing with My Little Pony. The maker of this scent is a genius! It truly is special.

  • SPARKPLUG06/08/2007

The first bottle I bought went bad, bought another doing the same anyone else When first opened smelled great, then it went bad

  • MINDY05/28/2007

People ask me all the time what purfume I'm wearing. I am a "purfume queen" but out of all of them I use this one is the one that gets the most raves about. I have hooked many of my family and friends. I just wish they sold it by the gallon.

  • KYLIE05/08/2007

This is *VERY* sweet. My friend wears this and sometimes I feel sick when I am around her. I tried this on my skin and it smelled like burnt sugar, yuck!! It lasts well but in my case that is a bad thing.

  • LIANI04/25/2007

The first time with this I was wondering what all the hype was about too. I was VERY dissapointed not to be able to smell it just few minutes outside the door! What a rip off! But later that morning, at a city permit office, the clerk helping me for about 20 mins. started talking to her co-workers about dessert recipes and how she was craving something sweet for lunch. She said she was at a nephew's birthday party over the weekend and had been wanting some "cotton candy" ever since! Coincidence or subliminal recognition of scent? I was watching her the whole time and I'm certain she wasn't knocking my Pink Sugar, but I definitely made her hungry!!! Next question: will this reaction repeat with guys? Still experimenting on that... OK, I admit it goes on pretty stinky, stickyish & synthetic, but it dries down to a very soft candy musk, similiar to Mark's Hollywood Pink, which i also love. I don't think this one is just for preteens...

  • NICOLE04/23/2007

I think you guys are crazy. I am trying to find out where I can get more of this stuff. I had the pleasure of using this product and I LOVE IT. Seriouly where can I get more. please send me some samples.

  • BARBARA W04/12/2007

...if you want to smell like a carnival or a bakery, wear Pink Sugar. When I sampled this, I was asked twice if I worked in a bakery - not exactly the effect I'm going for when I wear perfume. I understand that foody scents are hugely popular now, HOWEVER, I don't personally want to smell like I rolled around in pastries or candy all day. I *do* like some sweet scents (Hanae Mori comes to mind), but Pink Sugar lacks the complexity I want in a perfume. It's allllllll sugar. I can imagine this is hugely popular with teenagers, and will probably become the Love's Baby Soft of their generation. This is the sort of perfume that obviously has a youth-oriented target market, doesn't take itself seriously, and probably shouldn't be reviewed seriously, either. If you like it, have fun with it. ;-)

  • BIANCA04/06/2007

This perfume represents the "girlification of women". This trend of looking like a 14 year old boy/girl and wearing perfumes that smell like children is getting ridiculous. Grow up, women. Unless you are a teenager, what's the point of smelling like candy?? Girlification of women..........

  • DOLLY DAGGER04/05/2007

First to Amy: Pink Sugar didn't not work on my skin, I just don't like smelling like candy, if you do, good for you. To "woman over 43" same thing, you don't understand why a woman wouldn't want to smell like candy? I used to like that when I was a teen, but that is not something I would want to be my personal scent, as a woman. I bought Hot Couture, by Givenchy, and it was pretty sweet, and had a raspberry smell to it. After some young guy commented, mmmmm..."you smell like candy," I realized that wasn't what I was looking for in compliments. TO EACH THEIR OWN...Amy, chill out..you can like what you want, and so can I.

  • AMY04/03/2007

These people are on crack if they don't like it whenever I wear this I get Raves. Just because it smells like Crap on you doesn't mean it does on every one else. I give this two thumbs up and so does like almost everyone I know.

  • GODDESS04/01/2007

there was so much hype about this perfume...I expected it to smell like soft sugar...instead, it had an overwhelming fake licorice scent...yuck...I am glad I only got the sample

  • DOLLY DAGGER03/30/2007

I don't think there's anything wrong with somebody wearing this. If she wants to smell like man candy, that's fine with me. I don't want to remind a guy of a child. I really don't like smelling like candy or food too much. This perfume place that I always go to, has this sexy french woman who is the SA, and after waiting on this customer who had just bought Pink Sugar, she said, "with all the beautiful tasteful scents out there for women, why would anyone buy this c**p? I just shrugged my shoulders, and said, because that is the trend now, and at least I can walk around smelling unique, doesn't bother me.

  • AMY03/25/2007

i dont know why this is so popular because it stinks. i hate working with this girl at work because she ALWAYS wears this crap and stinks up the whole place and she really thinks she smells great.

  • LEONESS02/23/2007

I thought I would really like this perfume because it's sweet and I'm a sweet perfume kind of gal, but I couldn't get past the fake strawberry smell. I like fresh strawberries, but I can't stand that Bonnebell trying-to-smell-like-strawberries scent. I felt guilty for returning it, but so glad I purchased the scent from a retailer (they refund the full price whether you've used any of the perfume or not). If you like a clean, floral, mildly sweet fragrance I urge you to try Laila by Geir Ness.

  • ~SEXXYREDD~02/12/2007

I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE... I WROTE A POST ON I BELIEVE IT WAS LIGHT BLUE IN REGARDS OF A QUESTION ABOUT HANAE MORI AND HOW I LIKE IT I SAID I LOVED HANAE MORI AND ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPARE THE TWO BUT I WOULD NEVER BUY IT.....WRONG !!! I BOUGHT IT AND LOVE IT AND MY B.F LOVE IT TO HE SAYS ALL WOMEN SHOULD WANT TO SMELL SWEET LIKE THIS ... I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA GIVE ME A HEADACHE AFTER WEARING IT FOR AWHILE BUT IT DIDN'T ...TRY IT....REDD

  • GLORY02/09/2007

There is nothing particularly wrong with the scent. It's perfectly decent for young girls and teens, but it definitely is not appropriate for a woman who wants to feel sophisticated and elegant. Pink Sugar should only be used on young girls or women who want to feel playful and young for the day.

  • PAM01/25/2007

This is absolutely the best cologne I've tried in years! Refreshing, sexy, just a wonderful scent. It's become my signature fragrance. I just LOVE it!!

  • SHANNON01/16/2007

Been wearing this scent for 3 months and I cannot imagine not having it. It is definetly a feel good fragrance for yourself and all those around you.. People cannot get enough of it.

  • IRELAND01/16/2007

I have layered this over the solid compact perfume and it is wonderful. I love the way it gives off hints of caramel and sugar thru-out the day. One of the only perfumes I have ever been given compliments on from both men and women.

  • KIM01/12/2007

Pink Sugar smells really good on me, everyone has their own chemistry (I can not wear florals or powders but they smell great on others). I do not think it is childish at all, but I really don't think perfume has an age. This smells great, lasts well, but don't spray more than one spray--it is sweet and strong.

  • IRELAND01/06/2007

You cannot go unnoticed while wearing this scent...Everyone wants to be around you, and comments!! One of the best fragrances ever. Cannot get enough of it.. I am 44 and its not childish...but warm and sophisticated. Drives men crazy!!!

  • 40 ISH12/30/2006

I am on my 3rd bottle. I am the perfume queen... out of all of my perfume this is hands down the best. I get so many complements when I wear it...I should be the spokes women for pink sugar since I have got every body hooked on it!

  • HARLEY-MAMA12/16/2006

Hands down this one is his favorite out of allllll my perfumes! He is constantly sniffing me every time I wear it and replies " you're wearing the good stuff!" Very fun frangrance!!

  • MEGAN11/30/2006

I love this perfume, and the whipped body souffle is sinful. However, if you do choose to wear this be prepared to have people make comments about the carnival or state fair, becuase people always say I smell like the midway!

  • WOMAN OVER 4311/18/2006

this is a purfume how can you not like it. Come on who in thier right mind would not want to walk around smelling like candy. So many people tell me they love the way I smell. Hats off for this one.

  • ALLISON R.11/10/2006

I don't understand why people "expect" to fall in love with a perfume, get disappointed and call it all kinds of bad names. Pink sugar my sound juvenille, and be wrapped in a pink frilly bottle, but the perfume itself is cutting edge. It's not a one dimensional cotton candy note, it also envelopes bergamot, licorice, musk, wood, and fig. If those are scents for a little girl, that little girl is way beyond her years. This scent stays with me all day long. It brings me comfort in cool weather, and makes me happy in hot weather. It never gives me a headache, and is really cheap, and easy to find. It is made in Italy, that translates to quality in my point of view, and is a scent for any woman, at any age in her life. Please don't knock it, if you were expecting something that wasn't meant to be.

  • ERICA09/06/2006

I can't for the life of me figure out what all the hype is about with this scent. It's completely overpowering and linear, sickly sweet and generic. I don't get it. I was expecting to love this from the reviews, but it smells like something my 12 year old sister would want to wear. I don't just dislike it, I really can't stand this smell.

  • M08/20/2006

Every time I wear this, everyone goes nuts. The boys and girls, the men and women. I can't seem to turn around without someone asking "what IS that?" or just straight up sniffing me up and down. People seem to take breathe deeper when I get close by. I've heard every note smelled in this, caramel, chocolate, marshmallows, bubblegum, licorice, and of course cotton candy! Almost like everyone can pick out their favorite treat. I like to be sophisticated, but it doesn't bother me one bit if anyone thinks this is an "immature" fragrance. I prefer to think of it as vibrant and youthful. It's also ultra long lasting. I'm getting Chocolovers also, even though I've never smelled it - I'm sure the quality will be impeccable, if it is anything like Pink Sugar!

  • ANGIE08/05/2006

I know it smells like candy, vanilla, etc. like all the previous poster stated. But, I love it. It puts me in a good mood, uplifting. You do not have to spray alot so it is worth the money. I know some of the women age 30 on up may say that this is too girly. Hey, give it a try, who does NOT want to feel young? We all do!

  • 20 YR OLD WOMAN.07/21/2006

Opinion: This perfume smelled so good at first, but it got too strong for me. It smells like marshmellows with vanilla like smell. VERY SWEET. VERY STRONG. It got on my nerves very fast, I cannot wear this in the morning, the smell is so powerful that my friend could smell it about 20 feet away, when I was spraying this stuff on me. If you're going to wear this stuff, definely only 1 squirt should do it, not 2 or more. I am serious it's strong. My experience: The bad thing about this perfume is, that if you happen to be working indoors with no windows or ventallation, you will smell very musty almost like hot moss. You know that smell when you leave candy out on the hot sun in your car, that smell, the sticky hot mossy sweet smell. So make sure if you were this you don't go into a hot room with no ventallation. Good for outside, and perferbly not on a hot day when you will sweat. Occassion: DEFINELTLY for special occasions, don't spray it every day you will get sick of the candy smell. Believe me.

  • THE MAN07/19/2006

This stuff is it. I love sweet girls, and this says sweet with every sniff. I just want to eat you up, and I can't keep my lips off you! If you want a guy kissing your lips and tounging your ear lobe, wear this!

  • COURTNEY07/17/2006

If you like Jessica Simpson's Dessert line, you'll probably like this. I personally can't stand that stuff. I like to smell more complex.

  • MOLLY06/23/2006

Pink Sugar is yummy and sweet like strawberry twizzlers licorice! Sassy, youthful and just a whole lot of fun to wear!

  • TONYA06/09/2006

I was walking down the hall at the school that I work at and as I entered the room the same sweet smell that I smelled down the hall was in my classroom. It turned out to be one of my classmates and once I said that someone smelled really nice everyone started to agree OLD and YOUNG. I like this scent and I will be purchasing it!!!!

  • SYLVIE06/07/2006

I totally agree: Pink Sugar is a big star!!! I prefer and collect classic old fragrances (Guerlain) - but Pink Sugar was love from the first sniff. It's a great spicy oriental - no fun fragrance for my nose. A keeper!!!! A very modern "Shalimar". It rocks like Lolita Lempicka au Masculin. Both wonderful scents!!!! Love-or-hate-category = unique. Inviting comfort-fragrances. Dear PE-Ladies, please enjoy this excellent and delicious fragrance even if you over 50+++:).

  • AMY06/06/2006

This smells exactly how I hoped! After reading so many positive reviews, I had to try it. Usually when other people describe a scent it sounds wonderful but when I actually smell it, it's nothing like what I had hoped. This one smells as delicious as it sounds! I usually don't like overly sweet perfumes like Britney's Fantasy, or even Magnatism (which I like but not on me), but Pink Sugar appeals to the dessert lover in me. The vanilla and caramel balances the cotton candy pure sugar smell, so that it's not just a candy smell but a baked goods warm yummy smell as well. I'm very pleased with this, though I will reserve this for days when I'm feeling especially girly/innocent/sweet.

  • LEE ANN06/04/2006

I AM 45 AND I LOVE THIS SCENT. I LOVE THE WAY IT SMELLS ON ME. I ALSO LOVE THE RALPH LAUREN "HOT" PERFUME. IT SMELLS GOOD ON ME.

  • TRINITY04/17/2006

This one is in the family of scents I usually stay away from---foody, overly sweet, bubble-gummy. BUT while I consider most perfumes in that category "common" I cannot say that about this one. There's something different about it. Some little note in there that slaps your face and dares you to dismiss it as a teenager's cheap monstrosity. I can't wear this one every day, but every so often there's a day when pink-n-girly is all I'm about and THIS is THE perfume to wear. And on those days, mt body is just ready for PS and takes it well apparently, because the compliments don't stop from the time I leave the house till I get back home. This perfume rocks---it's just got it's time and place.

  • JUDI W*04/16/2006

I smelled this in a dept. store and it's something that smells "comforting". (dessert smells usually do) My 20 yr old son liked it & we usually don't agree on perfumes. (doesn't like any of mine) So for that reason, it appeals to younger people. Ladies, I see that most of you love this fragrance, and don't seem to like it, when someone else doesn't. Take a look at all the nasty comments that were made on the FENDI reviews. I personally love that fragrance, and most of the comments were down right mean & obnoxious. So, don't be hypocrites. Others are entitled to their opinions too.

  • ANGIE04/14/2006

Crystal, I really don't care if you approve of what I said, ALOT of people on this site & makeupalley have said worse things, about this scent & others. If you don't like it or agree, fine.. really don't care. Like I said, some "women" like to still feel like little girls, so their boyfriends will find them more appealing. Good for you, but not for me & alot of other women. What really annoys me, is when other ladies bash the exotic scents from the past, and say their "outdated", and smell like "bug spray" THAT'S okay, but I can't say what I said, pleeez!!!

  • CRYSTALMOON04/11/2006

Way to grossly over-generalise! I for one, turned 39 on Friday, and as already mentioned in my previous post, my boyfriend, who ADORES Pink Sugar and Britney's Fantasy, - is 32. Maybe Josie and I are just different types of women from you - it certainly does NOT make us any less women than you - that is for sure. Each to their own. You probably love a perfume that sits very badly with me, and that is what the fragrance world is all about - finding something that works for you, and that you enjoy wearing. There is no right or wrong perfume for a woman of ANY age to wear, and I think it's high time you realised that... Ail :-)

  • JULIE04/05/2006

You have a right to like Pink Sugar, but others have the right to say what they feel too. If you go on Makeupalley.com, the reviews there are mixed. Some women love it & others think it's either vile or too cutesy young for them. A sixteen year old said, she thinks it's too young for her, so that ought to tell ya something. Stop being so defensive, if you like it, good for you!!

  • ANGIE04/03/2006

Maybe my age cut off time was too soon for you. Obviously your still into being a little girl, that's fine, enjoy it. But real women don't want to smell like little girls, we've already been there & done that. If that's being mean to you...sorry...but that's being honest. Take care...

  • JOSIE04/02/2006

The fruity candy, powdery, soft musky smell puts a smile on your face. I'm 25 and this perfume makes me feel even younger at heart. I'm glad I found Pink Sugar now so I can wear it all Spring and Summer. It's gonna be awesome! My boyfriend doesn't like spicy, harsh perfumes and Pink Sugar is his new favorite. This perfume honestly makes his eyes light up! I don't think nasty people should wear this perfume. Bitter, mean women should wear something to fit their harsh personality, like Poison or something.

  • ANGIE04/01/2006

Yes, it smells pleasant & sweet, but why would a woman (anyone over 21) want to smell like candy? To each her own, but I think most MEN like adult perfume for WOMEN, not something a young girl would wear, unless he's a weirdo, (if you know what I mean) My experience is, I get most of my compliments with sexy, exotic type scents, not smelling like a piece of candy or cake. Whatever turns you on...Just because you wear a young girl's scent doesn't make you younger, just in denial.

  • VIA03/29/2006

Light & sexy scent that has surprising complexity. When the scent is first sprayed the fruit is mostly present and then the sweetness lingers. The final note is much like Jovan's White Musk-that I know well because my sister used to wear it everyday when we were in high school 15 years ago. I think this scent has awesome staying power, especially for being such a calm & sweet scent. This makes for a great value because you don't have to use so much! I'm surprised how much I adore Pink Sugar and my husband thinks it's wonderful too. My favorite summer scent is Autour De La Vanille Patchouli by Molinard, but Pink Sugar is a close second.

  • MAYA03/26/2006

Hello Hannah :) Thank you for your kind words... Unfortunately, I have not tried Ralph Hot yet but have heard quite a bit about it already. It's supposed to be a yummy gourmand new Lauren scent, a hard one to resist at that. As soon as I get a chance to give it a shot I'll post here again and let you know what I think of it.

  • HANNAH03/15/2006

this is sorta random but have you tried the new fragrence from ralph calles "ralph hot". I just bought some today it smells WONDERFUL (if you've never smelt it you def. should) I was just wondering if you knew what other perfume it smells like, I know i've smelled something simalar before but i cant put my finger on it. I've read some of our posts and you seem to know alot about perfume. thanks so much *Hannah*

  • CRYSTALMOON03/15/2006

Well, I adore this anyway, but my boyfriend goes into raptures over it! He isn't a kid either, at 32, but he really loves the way this smells. He is also a huge fan of Britney's Fantasy and Escada's Magnetism (describing Magnetism as "Your Pink Sugar for when you want to be a wee bit more sophisticated and less Candy-shop-sweet) and I get tons of compliments from everybody when I wear this. Here in Scotland, we have a huge Sweet company called Lees, which we live very near, and my boyfriend says this smells JUST like a Lees' Snowball..which in fact it does! ^_^ Gorgeous, and the staying-power is incredidble. Works very well when layered with the Britney Spears' Fantasy Body Souffle too. Ail :-)

  • MISS GIRL03/09/2006

any1 knows what guys think of it?? coz my brother always wonders how can any1 wear a perume that smells like candy and ice cream?? he likes floral fragrances more....what do ur bfs and brothers think?

  • CHRISTA03/04/2006

Just ordered some PS and the body lotion as well. Layered my scents as they say to do and I don't really think this has alot of staying power. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Great scent though!!

  • JAYBEE03/02/2006

the more i smell ps on my skin the more complex it becomes to me..it's actually not at all as immature as some say it is..it's very rich, sweet and deep..

  • CHRISTA02/26/2006

I have seen alot of posts on here that these two smell similar?? Could anyone give me more info. on Hanae Mori??? Is it just like P.S or lighter/sweeter..more or less vanilla/almond scent? Help????

  • JAYBEE02/24/2006

Does anyone think that some point in the lolita lempicka's drydown is similar to pink sugar? or, put another way, does pink sugar reimnd anyone of lolita on a more compatible chemistry: softer, a bit sweeter, lolita minus some sharp note..? I don't know why i want someone to say YES! :) maybe because my chemistry is not ideal for lolita which i love, but works with ps..

  • LIZZIE02/17/2006

yesyesyesyes on cast a spell!!! it is the most delicious, most gorgeous, dark berry fragrance EVER!!! reminds me a bit of lolita lempicka, but richer and sweeter, and without the licorice. oh, YUM! yesyesyes, you must get it! tell me what you think!!! oh, i'll e-mail you instead. teeehee! :-D

  • MAYA02/16/2006

Ahhh you beat me to it ;) Thank you so much for letting us all know what we have to look forward to. That one and Cast a Spell are my next pray ;) Hugs, Maya

  • LIZZIE02/10/2006

Hi Maya!! thanks to your head's up on the new fragrance, i went straight to nordstrom's the other day and picked up CHOCOLOVERS!!! i'm wearing it right now! it's DEEEEEEEEELICIOUS! all chocolatey-malts and with hints of bergamot, orange, lily-of-the-valley, and vanilla that are also present in pink sugar! oh, how lovely! i paired the chocolovers with strawberry body butter, and my hubby said i smell like some delicious dessert (chocolate covered strawberries!!! YUMMY!) thank you, maya!!! chocolovers and pink sugar are happily standing side-by-side in my perfume cabinet!!!!

  • WIZARD OF AHHHHS02/09/2006

Just got a sample of this and it's heavenly! I always thought it would smell too syrupy based on what I had heard. It smells very similar to St. Barth's Lea BUT cost way less! I am definitely going to purchase a bottle of this and test it out on hubby. The posts for Pink Sugar are right on the money! By the way Maya, you and I have very similar tastes. I read your posts all the time. Keep up the good nose!

  • JEN02/08/2006

I just wanted to thank you for your response about the pink sugar deodorant..Haven't found the deo yet, but I picked up the mousse today, on your suggestion, and it is as wonderful as you said..really complements the perfume. I also picked up the new shimmering perfume, which I highly recommed as well. Very mild smell so you can use it for that all over shimmer...very pretty. Also picked up a tester of the chocolovers, but haven't tried it yet...thanks again, maya!

  • PRISCILLA02/06/2006

Very good perfume. Always gets lots of good comments from everyone. My friend at work told me though that next time I wear this I better bring cookies or something sweet to munch on since it makes the girls in her office all hungry. That makes me laugh especially since I'm on a diet and it sure helps me not crave a thing. I feel full!

  • GREEKGIRL01/31/2006

Thankyou for getting back to me so quickly, sounds like i might have to go out and try pink sugar sounds yummy might also look out for chocolovers since i have a chocolate tooth, let you know how i go. By for now .

  • MAYA01/30/2006

Hello there and thank you very much :) Hmmm... Pink Sugar vs. Fantasy! See, to me they really are quite different. Having said that I will say too that there are slight similarities in that they are both gourmand scents and that they are reminiscent of yummy types of food! I mean REALLY yummy!!! But, they really are quite different. Pink Sugar to me can be like 'burnt" sugar at times... also somewhat like cotton-candy at the fair but magnify that scent by 70% ;) Fantasy on the other hand, is a lot creamier scent more like whipped cream and like the add says cup-cakes! I think that Fantasy is smoother and easier to take in large quantities. I can totally tell the difference between the two if someone wears them. The truth is that I love them both and for the differences that I find with each. When I wear Pink Sugar, I will usually hear someone somewhere down the hall at work ask where is the cake or who and how in the world can anybody be baking in an office? Fantasy is calmer does not really travel that far and as such is a more intimate scent in my opinion, but is nevertheless grandly loved! Hope this helps... And if you want to go for something totally different then wait for Chocolovers by Aquolina. I can hardly wait!

  • RAY01/27/2006

I purchased this scent for myself and sister-in-law. I thought I was buying a body spray, and in fact it was deodorant. The wording was in French, so I had no idea. Anyhow, it is a nice scent. It is very similar to 212 sexy. I don't smell all the notes in this, which is good, because that means it mixes well. It's just really rich, with an oriental youthfullness. Nice for cold days.

  • GREEK GIRL01/27/2006

you seem to be a good judge of perfumes, could you describe pink sugar for me i heard it smells like fantasy which i already have. Many thanks, by the way i love reading your posts.

  • MAYA01/13/2006

I hope this helps... If you really like the fragrance you will love the Pink Sugar Deo. Spray. I think they complete each other very nicely. But, I also have to add that Pink Sugar Body Mousse is yet another wonder! If you have not tried it yet, I guarantee you'll love it. Aquolina makes such high quality products in my opinion. Best of luck and enjoy! Maya

  • JEN01/01/2006

If you've tried the Pink Sugar deodorant, could you post how you like it and if it's too much on top of the perfume? (which I woud never give up wearing!) Thanks :)

  • SYLVIE12/29/2005

PINK SUGAR is a wonderful surprise, ladies!! I expected a bright, happy, fresh-fruity, very sweet, uncomplicated, and crazy fragrance. But PINK SUGAR smells not floral-fruity! It smells edible, complex, strong, dark, warm, mysterious, and yummy!!!!! No pink perfume-fantasy, more a sexy, oriental, dark brown beauty! PINK Sugar is a bittersweet burned caramel-vanilla fragrance!! Wonderful for the cold winter months. It smells like mouthwatering chocolate cookies. Although I love cinnamon and clove, I'm not missing it in "oriental" Pink Sugar. The drydown is simply great, inviting and very long lasting. I think it smells similar to Angel for men, which I love. I give 5 stars - excellent!

  • KARINA12/21/2005

This is fruity and sweet at first; orange cottoncandy-like. But other notes come out later...musk, caramel, with an underlying tanginess. I always get compliments when I wear this. It's gourmand at its best. I just adore it. It makes me happy, weird as that may sound.

  • DAWN12/18/2005

I've never tried Pink Sugar, but I will after reading the reviews. I've been using Autour De La Vanille Patchouli by Molinard for a while and love it. If you like Pink Sugar, you might want to try the Autour De La Vanille Patchouli by Molinard because it smells like warm cotton candy that just keeps getting better throughout the day.

  • MAYA12/15/2005

It looks like Pink Sugar will get a little sister this upcoming February... so for all you chocoholics out there you might get a late Christmas present after all! Aquolina Chocolovers is supposed to be released in February. Now, how exciting is that!? I know I can hardly wait :)

  • CATHERINE12/14/2005

Don't try to copy this one. I have been wearing it for 2 years now. All those new ones coming out.... you cannot beat Italy's Aquolina! Pink Sugar is the most intoxicating, delectable, turn-me-on fragrance you can wear. It's an original and it always will be.

  • CHLOE12/08/2005

sweet really sweet. I think this is what Jessica simpson was going for with her "dessert" line. Totaly yummy..makes me feel like im in a candy store.

  • BREANNA12/07/2005

Yuuuuuum. this is the best perfume in the world. Smells so freakin deliciouse like cotton candy and carmel and vannila. All the boys love this one it's so flirty and yummy .everyone asks me what perfume im wearing but i don't wanna tell them because then they'll go out and buy it and its MY secret purfume.lol Girls go out and get this perfume NOW you'll become adicted for life.

  • LIZZIE12/04/2005

i can't believe i forgot to post to one of my favorite perfumes! i've been in love with this one for a good while... it makes me want to lick my sticky, sugary fingers in delight! the cotton candy note is very prominent... my ONLY complaint is that it isn't the most complex fragrance, but since i LOVE the sweetness, i'm not going to dwell on it. i wouldn't wear it to an elegant cocktail party (someone will wonder who brought the teenager), but any other informal occasion... my nose is happy! the drawback is that my hubby HATES this one... it makes him nauseated... so i try to avoid wearing it around him. it's unbelievably sweet, so people will either love it or hate it. wear with caution, girls, but have fun with it! :-D xoxoxoxo

  • MAYA12/03/2005

I think you are right in saying that Pink Sugar is slightly similar to both Live and Fantasy, however Pink Sugar was out WAY before either one of the other two came out (so I think that neither Live or Fantasy is original from that perspective). If you like Live there is another fragrance by Too Faced called Love Hangover and in my opinion Live is a close version of that one. Happy sniffing, Maya

  • LINDSAY12/01/2005

Pink sugar smells very sweet and girly almost makes me feel like im in elementary school again lol. Ive noticed that ppl are starting to copy it J.lo's new perfume "Live " smells very simmilar and Britney spears new one "fantasy" smells almost identical to me.

  • PIP11/25/2005

Smells like childhood: cotton candy, caramel, and jelly beans. Mmmm. My boyfriend LOVES it. One of my girlfriends says I smell "edible." It is a bit pricey, but worth it. And don't wear a lot, because it's a VERY pungent smell. A little goes a long way.

  • AMY11/17/2005

one of my co-worker wears this to work and it gives me a headache everytime i smell it. it is so sickeningly sweet and way too strong!!

  • HILLARY11/11/2005

this purfume is awsome it smells like cotten candy! my friend has it and almost every day at school i use some of it ( she keeps the bottle in her purse) i also love britney spears' new purfume "fantasy" it smells sweet like this one only more sophisticated ( if any thing from britney can be sophisticated lol) also you gotta try philosophys "falling in love" it smells alot like pinksugar to except its not as much cotten candy and sweeter i acually like it better plus its lasts longer

  • KALILA11/10/2005

Sweet yet sexy, Pink Sugar is a joyous blend of vanilla, lemon drops, cotton candy, and caramel, and licorice. This fragrance has an amazing effect on people! Be prepared for attention whenever you wear this ultra-feminine sweet scent. Notes: Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Licorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Barbe-a-Papa, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder.

  • ERZICKA11/09/2005

I tried Pink Sugar about 5 months ago and like most ladies who reviewed it I had to have it. The Body Mousse is intoxicating and leaves you wanting for more so of course I had to get that 100ml bottle ASAP!!! My bottle is more then half empty - the glass is 1/2 empty- Yeah! But the glass of like it more then 1/2 full!!! I'm so happy PE carries this awesome, cotton-candy, suggah-mamma of a scent since that way it'll make it easy to repurchase! Pink Sugar is so yummy, I mean really ppl go crazy over it. The UPS boy came to deliver some packages and says he followed his nose to my office. We had to unglue him from my desk. He said I must be edible... everyone got the giggles out of that one. Also, ppl like to associate this scent with cookies, and yuumy candies, and ice-cream even, cup-cakes and I get a lot of you smell like something so good - what is it? Generaly it makes ppl happy around you and makes them want to stay there. I like this for work since I work with kids and they really respond to this scent. For going out however, well, I think I still prefer something a bit more classier, or at least something that does not have written all over it "I'm a lollypop would you like a taste, (lick)?" LOL Afterall, when meeting ppl for the first time you might want to be taken a bit more seriously... By the way I'm 30, I love this scent and hope to wear it for a very, very long time. Those who know me know me for who I am. And those kids, ohhhh they love Pink Sugar!

  • KI11/03/2005

This is very very nice. I love it and so does my 11 year old daughter. It has gotten to the point where I have to hide it from her. The smell is sweet but not to sweet.

  • TIFFANY10/27/2005

Pink Sugar is the best and men love it. Everytime I wear it, men come up to me and beg to know the name of the perfume I am wearing. Ladies, this is a hit!

  • STEPHANIE10/20/2005

My older sister has this purfume she's nineteen..it smells really girly but kinda to sugary for me.I'd sugest falling in love by philosophy if you like this scent bcuz it smells sweet but a lot sexier than this

  • MAYA10/16/2005

There are a few new fragrances on the market that are trying to copy Pink Sugar as far as I'm concerned... Fantasy (the new B Spears) Live (the knew JLo) and Jewel (the knew Alfred Sung)... All are sweet and yummy and very reminiscent of Pink Sugar! Pink Sugar is still my favorite of all the above mentioned - still the best cupcake, cotton candy scent for the eternal girl at heart :)

  • GINA10/10/2005

This is a very warm, sweet scent. Reminds me of cotton candy at the fair.

  • STACEY09/27/2005

This is thee best perfume ever!! My brother-in-law's girlfriend introduced me to it & I cannot thank her enough! Almost every single day I wear it, I get compliments from both guys and girls. I am so happy that Perfume Emporium now sells it!!!

  • M.09/21/2005

This smells so wonderful! Like a mix of cotton candy and french vanilla. It almost reminds me of a cupcake with vanilla icing. Yummy!

  • JORDYN09/11/2005

I love this fragrence! Every time I wear it I get nothing but compliments! My coworker told me I smelled good enough to eat-YUMMMY! I think it is very feminine and light. You do have to apply it often to keep that delicious scent!!

  • LEE ANN09/09/2005

I agree with Michelle. I love it.. I love sweet fragrances and will continue to buy it til I can't find anymore. By the way, I am 44 years old and I wear this.

  • CRYSTALLYNN09/05/2005

Seriously the most originally intoxicating sweet scent, EVER.

  • APRIL09/03/2005

Pink Sugar is a pretty sweet perfume...smells like sugar cookies, strawberries and powder...spray this on when you want to smell pretty!

  • KRISTIN M08/23/2005

This is such a delicious fragrance...the candy sweetness is balanced with orange and strawberry fruit notes all swirled up into an intoxicating potion. A fun and yummy scent. A+++

  • VONNIE08/23/2005

I agree with Michelle. Pink Sugar does smell like cotton candy. It's so delicious!!

  • ANGI08/22/2005

I love this perfume, i am asthmatic and its hard to find a perfume that doesnt trigger it. Well i have now, I work with a girl at the radio station that wore it and i loved it so she got me a bottle, my b/f loves it he says i smell like cotton candy and i agree, its a "FUN" smell, people comment on it and love it. Its my new fragrance now at 35 and will be at 60 if they make it...its all about having fun and smelling that way! Angi

  • SABS08/15/2005

cutesy sassy girly fun! sweet and subtle too. "dessert" with sophistication. growing on me!

  • JANET 208/14/2005

I can't wonder why someone any older than 12 wear this. It reminds me of my old stinky rubber doll I had in the 60.

  • JANET08/09/2005

It is very strong for the first two hours. My Husband bought it for me. I thought it smelled like candy at first, but it grew on me. He luvvvs it. Spray lightly!! I luv it too. It's sexy and girly.

  • MICHELLE08/08/2005

I love this perfume it smells just like cotten candy!!!!! I always have people asking what i am wearing.

  • CHRIS08/05/2005

I bought French Vanilla by Dana, and it's not as sweet as this. Pink Sugar is a tender sweet fragrance. Not too strong though, and it doesn't last as long. ( On dry skin ) I bought the Perfume, 3.4 oz. It's very good on my body chemistry, it smells like a light smell of Marshmellows/ chocolate. On my friend, it smells more like sweet ginger. So smell does vary. It smells alot more complex than regular sweet body sprays, that just hit the dead on note of the sweet smell. This is not a plain smell. And it does NOT have the alchoholic/cologne smell to it! It doesn't give me a headache either. I only spray 3 squirts every 1 hour and 30 minutes. It tends to stay longer if I spray on the clothes. I would definetly buy this again! I wish the smell lasted longer. Do not buy if you dont like sweet smells. This is not overpoweringly sweet either, very soft like. This smell can be used for kids too, any age. So if you're the type to be a kid at heart, this is the one for you.

  • ELLYN08/04/2005

Perfect for work and day wear. It smells wonderful, and is light and non-offensive to others. I work in a 'fragrance free' office, and people always compliment my 'scented soap'!

  • MAYA08/03/2005

Well as mischievous as my sister is so is this fragrance. It's more girly rather than womanly, and more yummy than anything else too... The caramel and vanilla end notes are very strong and as I've mentioned before my sister loves to lay it on... so she ends up smelling like cake and candy... I wore it to work a few times and people would come by my office to ask how could I possibly be baking in an office with no provisions for such entertainment LOL (the smell carries far and wears long). I happen to really like this one, but I also love cheesecake and ice-cream too and this fragrance reminds me of them. My boyfriend can't stand it though when my sister bathes in this fragrance he says that it smells like burnt sugar... I think however that this one has the potential of smelling fantastic but the key is not to wear too much...

  • MARI9807/29/2005

This is the yummiest fragrance ever, and it lasts forever. Highly reccomended :-)
