    have loved this for years...

  • DARLENE06/20/2016

Excellent perfume, hard to find the 1 fl. ounce in local stores. Shipping could be a little faster. Took to long, compared to ordering from out of state.

  • DANAE06/11/2015

    Gorgeous Scent...

  • SAFECAT09/05/2012

I have been wearing this fragrance for years, but recently I have had problems finding the EDP and I am going nuts!! I love this stuff!

  • TINA01/09/2012

The product and presentation of the gift pack were excellent. My only disappointment was that it took longer then expected to arrive and I was unable to give it as a gift at Christmas. Not to worry though....my mother's birthday os coming up. Thank you Galaxy.

I'm looking to purchase large amount of perfume samples in various fragrances for wedding party favors. Any idea where I can get them?

  • MRS ST07/17/2009

A story of what it reminds me of: Years ago, in about 1991, I bought a huge bottle of Tigress from a CVS that was going out of business. I fell in love with it, used it up, and never found another bottle - I was sick about it! Little did I know that Tigress had been discontinued. Here is why: Tigress afficinados know that there are 3 versions of Tigress: 1. THE ORIGINAL : a deep animalitic musk, cedar-ish, almost powdery at times, not sweet at all. A Dusky nose filler, in a very pleasing way! 2. THE REFORMULATION: Tigress got an overhaul somwhere in the later 70's or somewhere in the 80's in response to Estee Lauders Beautiful, or so I have been told. This version of Tigress was sweet/bergamot. This is the version that I purchased at CVS. This is the one I know and love. 3. THE VERMONT COUNTRY STORE VERSION: Close to the original, but no cigar. Only b/c is had a distinct alcohol/chemical filler edge that they need to work out somehow. If the VCS could get that worked out - the would have a hot one on thier hands! You have to give them credit for trying though. I said all that to say, I was walking around alll broken hearted with my 16 yearold self in 1991, b/c I could not find anymore Tigress (reformulated)...and happened upon Bijan! Both my sister and I agreed that while is was not a "dead ringer" it was close enough. I love Bijan! It is sexy, sweet, in a good way! Reminds me of Tigress Reformulated in a very good way, but years after using bottle ands bottle of it, I love Bijan on its own merits. If you love rich orientals, you will love this.

  • SYLVIE11/17/2008

YES, YES, YES - I still love it!!! For my nose a classic feminine and beautiful fragrance. So sexy and inviting. Smells elegant and expensive. Pure femininity!!! The funny bottle looks not very attractive for my taste, but who cares? I LIKE THE JUICE!!! BIJAN smells wonderful warm, soft-ambery-oriental and creamy sensual. A very nice bittersweet and yummy concoction. For my "European" nose a typical American-style-fragrance. If you hate RED DOOR, Vanderbilt and VENDETTA by Valentino, please stay away from BIJAN!!!

  • JUDI W*08/09/2008

I remember wearing this fragrance in my teens (too many years ago) It was nice, but if I can remember, quite powdery, which then I didn't mind, but now, don't like. For the time it was good. At least it wasn't fruity, can ya tell I don't like fruity? (I've said it enough times)

  • KRIS11/02/2007

...I think Burlington Coat Factory sells it...Not sure how "old" the bottles are, but I think I saw it in line a few times...

  • PERFUMEMAMA07/24/2007

I know so many ladies who can wear bijan and it smells lovely on them. Reminds me a lot of Mackie and Raffine combined. I can't wear this one however, smells odd like BO after ten minutes.

  • SYLVIE07/21/2007

Dear Dora, you are very welcome! Thanks so much for your nice message. Yes, I am a perfume junkie/addict! Beautiful perfumes make me happy. They are fairy tales in a bottle. I have a huge collection of perfumes and perfume-books. Nice to hear, that my reviews here at the PE-message board are useful. Take care and greetings from Germany, Sylvie.

  • KIM05/01/2007

Has been my favorite, only perfume i've worn in 20 yrs. I found out today bijan beverly hills, is no longer carrying bijon parfum.. Any suggestions to a similiar scent? I get headaches from every other perfume i have tried.

  • DEB04/28/2007

I have wore this fragrance for years and absolutely love it - I have a hard time changing fragrances because Bijon is my favorite and it is not sold in any of the department stores any longer - to purchase this in one of the many perfume kiosks is very disappointing due to the fact that the fragrance is not the same - Does anyone know where to buy the real thing????

  • ANGIE04/21/2007

My two sisters & I, wore this in the seventies, when it first came out. It was nice, nothing too unique, but just nice. Have had no desire to revisit it.

  • DORA04/12/2007

I always read your posts and I want to thank you because, trusting your taste and knowledge, I have found many beautiful perfumes. We share the same passion for perfume and I am happy to know I am not alone! Bijan is a very nice perfume, the smell of orange blossom more obvious to me, not heady, bitter-sweet in the beginning and then on my skin warm and very pleasant as the time passes.

  • SYLVIE01/02/2007

Bijan is a very nice floral-oriental vintage fragrance! Middle- and basenotes remind me of the classic Gloria Vanderbilt fragrance with the swan. The heart of the Bijan fragrance shares the same notes with Vanderbilt: Carnation, Honey, Jasmin, Orris, Rose, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang! By the way, Vanderbilt is the most underrated fragrance on earth... but very popular (classic top seller in Europe). Please try to ignore different packaging and bottle-design and check it out, ladies. Maybe you will agree...??... Greetings to all, Sylvie

  • ALEXY11/28/2006

Another mini I picked up without knowing anything about (Fendi being the other). It smells very 1980’s to me. I think this is another one that is for an older woman (I’m 25). I like the bottle though.

  • TOM309/28/2006

I smelled this fragrance on someone passing by at work and HAD to ask what it was. I immediately fell in love with it. The owner said she did not care for it, so now I own two small bottles of it that I've been sniffing all day. lol.

  • CK 07/19/2006

Now this one was a surprise to me that I liked it. I bought the set with the body cream and I love the cream, it has a luminous look and feel. Powdery and sweet w/o getting to syrupy.

  • MICHELLE05/17/2006

Bijan is musky and spicy and reminds me of when I was in my 20s in the late 1980s...beware though. If you use too much you overpower a room...

  • MAYA02/08/2006

Hello :) Thank you for picking up my question about Bijan Wicked. The name was of course the reason why I was so curious to find out about it... But the bottle is so enticing too! So now that you've given it high recommendations I will try a bit harder to find a bottle to test... if that does not work then I'll do what I usually do - I'll order online and wait anxiously for it to arrive :) I've done that a few times - I've picked up more then a few fragrances online just based on the reviews and I've not once been disappointed. Mind you, there has not been a single fragrance that I could not blend with my vanilla oils... if I get a bit bored with the scent then I play around and add my vanilla or coconut - I find that sometimes that is just what was missing ;) Thanks again! Maya

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE02/06/2006

Hey Maya, Yes I have Bijan Wicked, and I do love it. Very different than the other Bijans (and I have most of them). Wicked is soft and feminine, yet has good staying power on me. It has the most unusual combination of notes to it. I tried the body lotion at first, not wanting to invest too much if I didn't like it. I loved the body lotion, and so ordered the edt. The edt is simply amazing to me. Perhaps a bit more of a spring/summer scent? (Although I wear my fragrances year-round regardless!) Don't know if it's the Blue Lotus essence, or Sandal flower, but whatever it is, I like it very much! Good luck with it!

  • SHELBY01/07/2006

I know this perfume has been around since the 1980s and can be a bit heavy but it smells divine and lingers as a soft sexy scent all day long. It reacts differently on everyone's skin so it doesn't smell like the same perfume on every person. Also, it is perfect for winter wear because it smells so rich and warm.

  • THOMAS12/04/2005

Your review of Bijan is unfair. I'm sorry that you can't appreciate this wonderful fragrance. If you do not like it OK, but it is not bad actually.

  • MARIA MARTIN12/01/2005

I washed it off five minutes after putting it on. I then gave it to my sister-in-law, hoping she could use it. She didn't even pass it on. She tried it once and threw it away.

  • MAYA08/25/2005

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried Bijan Wicked and what it smell like? Could you compare it to any other fragrance? Thanks for anyones help!!! Maya

  • MIMI08/20/2005

a good warm scent. smells even better in the fall. stays on you a long time. not cheap smelling

  • MAYA08/09/2005

After having had read all these wonderful comments I thought to myself this is the one my mom will love. She liked Opium in the past, and a few others that I did not care too much about... I got her Shalimar for Mother's Day... Well I was in the store yesterday and as I had perfume on already, I asked a lady who looked about my mom's age to smell it and let me know what she thinks... She loved it, she sprayed it on herself and let me smell it. It actually smelled really nice on her... I got my mom a bottle and she got herself one. It's funny I never thought much of this one before, always thought it would be too strong and choky but it was surprisingly sexy and feminine! Way to go!

  • HONEYJ06/27/2005

This fragrence was a high school favorite and nothing out does it to this very day!!!!!!!!

  • SUSAN06/19/2005

I never buy the same perfume twice; just keep trying new ones. My friend bought me this for my 33rd b-day because I wore this when I was 19/20 and she remembered I liked it then. I really still like this perfume. Bijan has great staying power, it’s still modern yet classic, and a little goes a long way. I wore it the day after I got it, and received three compliments. I can't remember when I last received a perfume compliment.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE05/03/2005

Have seen it around for years and never tried it. How dumb! It's beautiful! Deep, mysterious, smoky yet flowery. Very sexy.

  • LOUISE03/06/2005

Not bad at all. Very reminiscent of some other '80s fragrances, but, still, quite nice. I can see why Queen Eliz II lists this as one of her favorites. Reminds me a little of an Oscar de la Renta fragrance I had recvd as a gift back in the late '80s. But Bijan isn't as sweet, which is okay by me. Sophisticated and elegant without being overpowering, though I'll say (as the bromide goes), "a little dab'll do ya." In other words, don't bathe in it, ladies. LOL

  • SHARRIE12/16/2004

love thew perfume , hate the bottle, reminds me of a pacifer however wonderful smell.great nody lotion and bath gel

  • SHARRIE12/14/2004

brings out the best in me, truly wonderful, great, the lotion is lovely too

  • CHANDRA10/04/2004

I just bought another bottle of this and I love it. I've been wearing this one for a long time. It is a great fall/winter scent. Highly recommended!

  • LORI09/25/2004

I like Bijan and I think it smells good. HOWEVER, a former student of mine said, "Mmm you smell just like my MeMaw"!!! I don't think I'll wear this again--I'm only 28!

  • PIA07/29/2004

My younger sister Rita wore this in the late eightees (her boyfriend at the time got her hooked on it and always bought for her), I loved to smell her, it was great on her. Later she broke up with him because he was a big cheater and since then has never worn it again. By the way she has been married for 10 years and loves Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden, which is a big change and I cannot stand it, I loved the Bijan on her!

  • BIJAN07/18/2004

I received a bottle of Bijan last year for my birthday....couldn't have hoped for a more wonderful gift. Such a lovely and enchanting aroma; I always receive compliments whenever I wear it. A must have for every woman who loves quality perfume.

  • GAB05/29/2004

my husband and myself love bijan. i wear it everyday. the only time i can smell it on me is when i first spray myself, but everyone can tell where i have been because they can smell my bijan. it is great to find a fragrance that works wonders with my chemistry. i am so noticed!!!!!!

  • AMRIKA04/18/2004

It'll blow you away I promise. It's the bomb! Try it!

  • THE PERFUMED DUTCHMAN04/14/2004

If I were to choose one perfume to take with me to the moon this was it!It's heady, sultry, sophisticated, expensive. With the first wiff you're transported to a magical island with an abundance of white flowers. An important element of its cinematic splendour is the knowledge that this demanding perfume is concocted in the imagination of its persian designer,Bijan Pakzad, the man with the million dollar smile.

  • DEB04/13/2004

I have loved the fragrance of Bijan since the late 80's. I get many compliments on it when I wear it. It has a very clean, fresh scent. It is getting harder to find in the stores though.

  • ELIZABETH SHARON04/04/2004

I have just be looking at the posts everyone has left re: Joy, Shalimar, L'Heure Bleue, all the old, sweet spicy types that are so complex and grow on you--but that "younger women" don't seem to understand--they think those old greats smell like "old lady perfume". Well, I think Bijan is a modern knockoff of those wonderfull old scents. It's got some superficial similarity--to me, it smells like honey, which I get from Joy initially. But Bijan doesn't really change--it's just strong--I can tolerate it and kind of like it in very small doses. But it is the kind of perfume that will give me migraines if someone is wearing a lot--I think because of synthetics in it (I have never gotten headaches from the old natural essence perfumes.)

  • NATS02/15/2004

After reading the rave reviews, I went out and purchased Bijan. I love lola and I should have trusted her. We seem to have the same taste and whatever she recommends I actually try them and they are great. Hats off to you Lola. I HATE bijan. My husband thinks it is cheap. It smells like something from the dollar store. Like some cheap drunk prostitute . Oh what a regret. I cant even use it to go to bed. Portfolio is my bedtime fragrance of choice by the way. Quelques Fleur is my fragrance of choice for bed with action (smile). But there is just no use for bijan. Maybe I'll use it as airfreshener in the bathroom. Bummer!

  • SUZANNE12/26/2003

Wow what a great surprise! I received Bijan as a gift and immediately dismissed it as not my type of frangrance - perhaps because I don't think it is the prettiest or classiest of bottles (I do not like the big white plastic lid - uggh!) However....I ventured to spray a tiny bit on myself about a week ago - and talk about love at first sniff!!! This is such a wonderful, wonderful fragrance -soft, golden, warm, spicy, sensual, sweet and yet, as others have mentioned, homey and comfortable. The dry-down is fabulous and it does stay with me - all day long! I am in heaven! I am in love - with Bijan! And I am still surprised!

  • MICHELE10/29/2003

I've been hooked on Bijan since my very first smell of this perfume. I feel sexy everytime I wear it!

  • ERIN10/22/2003

My all time favorite scent! I can not get enough of this sent. I used to wear this years ago, but kinda forgot about it until I saw the name on here so I got some. Now I remember why I loved it. Its great anytime day or night. I am hooked again. I never get excited over perfumes but this one has done it to me again, I can't wait until I put it on.

  • KYSAI10/19/2003

Bijan is one of those fragrances that is exotic and yet homey, it is tre one scent I would ask for never to run out of, if I ever encountered a genie in a bottle...

  • LISA10/07/2003

i love this fragrance..a friend of mine turned me on to it when her father brought her home a bottle from some island..ive been hooked ever since..ive asked women in stores what they are wearing when i smell it on someone else and the answer usually is Bijan...i will never buy another kind of perfume..i get it every christmas.......

  • PERFUMEADDICT10/01/2003

Kathleen I hope you see this. I was moved when I read your message. Be strong and hang in there.

  • KATHLEEN09/27/2003

I started wearing Bijan 8 years ago on my first date with my "now" husband. The smell will always remind me of him and the wonderful times we have had together. I get compliments from total strangers whenever I wear it, so it must smell as good as I think it does. Now my husband, the love of my life, has cancer and not much longer to be with me...he asked that I put a bottle of Bijan in his coffin with him along with a picture of the two of us, so that I'll always be with him. Hopefully we can fight this for a long long time, but when the time comes, I'll do what he wants, because it will always be "our" fragrance.

  • LISA09/12/2003

I wore this when it first came out, and someone recently gave me a small bottle. I remember how much I used to like it. It's great

  • HISAKO05/18/2003

Was it so called perfume? It was HOOOORRIBLE!

  • VERA04/22/2003

Spray it on on a mild spring eve and enjoy a walk in the park. You'll be smelling like the most exciting flowers (or even better). The base is very comfortable (sandalwood, rose) and lingers and lingers...

  • FLORA03/30/2003

I've used Bijan for years and always get compliments when I wear it. I love the fragrance and it works well with my body chemistry.

  • EMMY03/26/2003

    My husband loves it

  • BRITTNEE03/17/2003

I smelled this one a few times in passing at Foley's and never was impressed too much. It's not a bad scent, just nothing too exciting either. Kinda boring. However maybe it smells different when you wear it all day.

  • SUE12/29/2002

I've been wearing Bijan off and on since 1989. It has great lasting power and is a good winter scent. Stays with you and a good dry down

  • NIKKI12/17/2002

It is a heavy, spicy type of scent, but not nearly as gag inducing as I feared it would be when my mom tried it on the little scent strip. I personally wouldn't buy it for myself, but she seemed to like it well enough.

  • JASMINE11/08/2002

Oscar de la Renta, but I prefer it to Bijan which is chemically. The bottle is cute but looks like a pacifier!

  • BETHANY10/25/2002

At least on me. The smell of orange (which I normally like) mixed in with something heavy. Result- A Bad brew with my body chemistry. Overly sweet and strong.

  • LABRUJA10/20/2002

Bijan's misfortune is to be a very nice fragrance in a world of GREAT scents. I like it. I wear it (& I love the bottle!) but it's never been a favorite.

  • CAROL10/09/2002

BIJAN IS THE ONLY FRAGRANCE MY HUSBAND BUYS ME. WITH HIS ALLERGIES, THIS FRAGRANCE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM SICK. THANKS BIJAN. I LOVE IT TOO. ESPECIALLY THE BODY CREAM. LEAVES ME FEELING SOFT AND SEXY.

  • CHRISTINE08/13/2002

I originally found this fragrance ,when a male sales clerk told me it was bijan when i asked....he smelled so nice and clean. So the mens fragrance is just as nice. I have used this for years and still love it...clean and sweet. I would recomend this one for day or romantic wear. Not too heavy just nice.

  • B IN TEXAS07/30/2002

I can't imagine anyone finding this incredible fragrance as "cheap". Department store fragrances make me gag... I have worn Bijan since 1987 and I still get stopped by strangers to ask what I am wearing. It is my signature fragrance (the "real" perfume and body cream is especially nice). I will wear it for the rest of my life. Sensual, exotic and clean-smelling.

  • A.06/07/2002

I wore this to work the first day I got it. I came home sick. I don't know that the strong fruity florals caused me to be ill, but I now asociate the scent with vomiting uncontrolably. Before feeling sick that day, it was nice enough, but very strong.

  • TK06/06/2002

I found the smell offensive and I think many others do too. It gave me a headache.

  • LOLA05/18/2002

top notes are o.k i guess... but the dry down is murder on the senses!to me the smell suggests a badly dressed, cheap and gaudy creature with absolutely no sense of personal taste who's trying too hard.i also found the body products irritating and ineffective.

  • LAURA04/27/2002

Bijan is the most sensual, feminine fragrance I have ever worn. I have been wearing Bijan for almost 10 years and first bought it at the Bijan Boutique on 5th Avenue in New York City. I love Bijan because it is so sensual and due to the cost, is not a fragrance that every woman in the world is going to be wearing. I don't want to wear the same perfume that many others are wearing around me. I wear Bijan almost everyday and rarely a day goes by that I don't get several compliments about my perfume. My husband loves it and even my young daughter loves to smell it because she has come to associate the smell with me. It's a great perfume!!!!! I have bought many other perfumes over the past 10 years but I always try them and then continue wearing Bijan. It is wonderful to wear!

  • IRIS02/15/2002

It smells like a houseplant, complete with the dirt.

  • AMANDA01/24/2002

    Amanda is so Bijan

  • JACQUELYN12/31/2001

If perfumes take on a soft, powdery quality for you, then try Bijan. I found it to be to rather unpleasant on myself and others. Very strong and coarse.

  • CARY GREENE12/30/2001

This perfume will wow. Out of the bottle, forget about it, it smells too strong. It actually works with your skin tones to form a wonderful and deliciously appealing scent as the day ticks by. I highly reccomend it for women who want to have a perfume that greatly enhances your sex appeal. Being a man, I can attest that every time I smell it i stop dead in my tracks and say.........mmmmmmmmmmmm! Now, let me close by saying as always with a powerful scent, wear it sparingly and don't be afraid to try this unique trick: spray some on your hair! Believe it or not it is the best spot for this type of scent to linger. Don't try this with many other scents it won't work.

  • AIMEE12/19/2001

Spicy soap with undertones of '4711'.

  • GERRI LYNNE DAVIDSON11/26/2001

Everytime I wear Bijan I get so many compliments from men and women. I fell in love with Bijan a few years ago X-mas shopping with my mother. I begged and pleaded with her to get me this perfume. It wasn't only the scent that I liked it was the bottle itself. Unfornately, my mother didn't purchase the perfume. I had to buy it myself. So, when I did purchase Bijan I bought it on sale. So, I bought 2 bottles. Now my best friend is looking high and low for a bottle for herself.

  • COLESLAW10/25/2001

I LOVED this in high school and wore it exclusively, for years. Maybe that's way it smells too *young* for me now, maybe too powdery.

  • EVONE09/28/2001

When this scent first came out, it was amazing! I received so many comments on it! I no longer wear it but it is still my sister's all-time favorite.

  • MARCY07/19/2001

I agree, I have many perfumes, some that I like more than this, but this is my husband's all time favorite! He thinks it is a warm and sexy smell. I wore nothing but Opium for years and he did not like that one very much.

  • KARINA07/07/2001

This is a great perfume-sexy in the same floral/oriental way that Opium is, for example, but a little softer and not as spicy. I like the smell very much, but I have to admit that the real reason I wear it is more because of the reaction I get from my boyfriend! Of all the perfumes I wear (and believe me, I have a ton, some of which I personally like even more than this one) this is his favorite. And it's not just him-Bijan always gets me lots of compliments, from both men and women. If you try it, I'm sure you'll have a similar experience!

  • EDIE06/23/2001

I LOVE Bijan! I feel like a sex goddess whenever I wear it. Wear this one when you're in a vixen mood. Bijan is not for the faint at heart! :)

  • LIBBY SANDRIDGE06/07/2001

I have worn Bijan by Bijan for 10 years and I am only 28 years old. It is the best fragrance ever made and I will not even purchase another parfume. I am complemented constantly on the fragrance. At gas stations, at the grocery store, church, pretty much everywhere. I hope it is never discontinued!

  • TATIANA04/16/2001

Smells fruity on me. Gives me headache.
