Beautiful floral scent with a hint of almond and powder. Inoffensive enough to wear daily, even in close quarters. A soft and feminine scent.
This a fragrance that my ex-husband wears (he purchased it in Italy) and I always loved it - not him!! Now I buy it for myself and enjoy it with someone else!!!
I love it! My husband prefers the Raving. My only regret is that the fragrance is not long-lasting. I have the eau de cologne. I wish it came in a stronger version.It smells edible!
Etro's Heliotrope is a nice single note perfume, true to the faintly vanilla-fragranced flower. However, I find it boring... Other Etro scents are much more inspired! Try Etro Resort instead.

i had a heliotrope plant on my front porch last summer and fell in love with the rich sweet scent it gave off in the evening. i searched for a perfume that would recapture that intoxicating odor. etro's heliotrope is sweet with a touch of bitterness that makes the sweetness delicious rather than cloying. it also has great lasting power - more like an eau de parfum. it's not for everyone, but for me it's a five-star scent i haven't yet tired of.
This is DEFINITELY for men. I can't imagine a woman wanting to smell like this.
Is this the same "HELIOTROPE" that was made by Mary Kay some 40 years ago?
After a mishap, all ladies can rest assured, this is a ladies fragrance. My investigation into this matter has lead to the new placement of Heliotrope under "women" instead of "men". Thank god! It's the best, sexiest vanilla fragrance ever!
