Fantastic! Very clean smelling. Lots of good comments when I wear April Fields.

"Launched in 1999 by the House of Coty, April Fields is a refreshing floral. A blend of cucumber, sandalwood and jasmine with hints of rose and bergamot." I also found futher info: Floral Fresh Fruity (Pear) Aqueous Green Floral (Muguet) Musky Woody. FIFI award winner. Fellow perfume Estee Lauder Pleasures but more fruity. I think this scent is discontinued as it can only be found online. Shame as it is light enough to wear on nice spring (or even rainy!) days when my favorites such as Shalimar, Tabu and Magie Noir may be a bit much!

Not a bad perfume. I ordered some Coty perfumes because i was curious to see what some inexpensive fragrances smell like. First, I dont think these are so inexpensive considering they are colognes and not even EDT. April Fields is light and not offensive, however, I think it smells very much like celery. It is complex and green but it lakes the woody balance that I expected. It has a very green, grassy smell--not sexy, not very feminine. Smells like an antioxidant medicine herbal potion. Not offensive but not good.

I would really enjoy this light fresh scent. For some reason I can't stand cucumber in a scent. It should smell fresh, but makes me sneeze. I'm glad I tried it, though. I'll just stick with Vanilla Fields instead.

I bought a .5 oz. bottle of Vanilla Fields in a buy-three deal at the drug store (with Emeraude and Sand & Sable), and I'm surprised at how nice it is. Something in it reminds me of Annick Goutal Songes, actually, although it's much more all-occasion wearable than Songes, imo. I don't find Vanilla Fields all that light and fleeting - it's quite long lived on my skin. That varies with individuals, however. It's not a "true" vanilla scent - it doesn't smell like a vanilla pod, but rather a warm, sweet, though not thick, somewhat sheer oriental-vanillic-floral fragrance. I really like it and I'm glad I have this little bottle. I'll enjoy it.

It's light, not too overpowering and very clean smelling. It's my favorite.

This is a nice clean smelling scent. I am finding it more and more difficult to locate this in stores. It reminds me of sunny weather!

  • SONYA08/09/2004

I really like this scent. It best for sping and summer, daytime wear. It's very similar to scents such as Clinique's Happy and Liz Claiborne's Curve at a fraction of the price!

This is a beautiful Spring/Summer fragrance. Doesn't last terribly long, but the price and the scent are compelling. =)

Pleasant, very springy, as the name would suggest; however very weak, no staying power whatsover.
