Girls just love this stuff. I get compliments from them time and again about how much they love it. You can tell they want a closer smell. That being said, my girlfriend loves this stuff when we are together. And only us.

Just wondering, is it the same thing? Is the blue/orange bottle the same as the black/ yellow? I have a bottle of the black/ yellow and I really like it!!

i got it as a gift from my friend.. its the type of smell that you would only enjoy for that single sniff. ..or actually not even the first sniff. after i wore that cologone to a night out. i was about to puke

It has a very dainty and sporty scent. Nautica Competition may be compared with Polo Sport for the sportiest (if there is such a word) cologne. But I do love both equally. Like Polo Sport, I wear this scent regurarly, and it can last almost the whole day, with the help of one or two sprays.

it used to be good - until you smelled it the next day. and the next day. and years later it became the most sugary, overly-sweet fragrance of all time. stay away if you know whats best for you. if you have to buy it, please use sparingly

A good casual fragrance. A little bit "soapy". Of all the fragrances I have in my collection, this I had the most compliments from women.

Took a sample of this right after trying the brand's first and was less thrilled. I thought that with the notes in it that it would stand out. This is the bottom of Nautica's current selection and a failed attempt at being a sport scent. Among sporty scents I think Claiborne Sport is a best buy for the price (which I actually haven't worn for over 3 years) and the new Allure Sport by Chanel is probably the most elite.

I tested Polo Blue, and was going to get that. Then I tried Nautica and got it. When I got home I found it a bit soapy, and the scent didn't last long. I like Polo Blue better. I took it back and got Armani Mania. Quite different but I wanted something that last a bit longer than the NC. Polo Sports might be a good alternative.

Nautica Competition is not bad at all for the younger crowd. I was told that's the market they were aiming at. I can easily see someone around 16 to 21 wearing this scent. Me being 39, I'll try something else.

When I used to work at a retail store I would put a couple of sprits of competition on and get many different compliments, especially from females. So guys, if your looking for a way to impress the opposite sex, this is the cologne to get.

At least that's what I thought. I didn't think it was all that similar to Crave. Anyway, it's a nice casual or evening fragrance and it lasts.

It smells ok, but that's it. I found nothing unique about Competition at all.

I went out to buy a cologne at the store and got a sample of Nautica Competition. My initial impression is that it didn't clash with the other scents in the office. For this reason I felt it was received rather well. However, when I went to the gas station I noticed the smell of gasoline drift in through my open window. My thought was that the gasoline smelled very much like this cologne. I just took the sample down to the basement to double check before writing this. See for yourself. Take the Naut. Competition. in one hand and your gas can in the other. Aside from a bit of citrus in the Nautica, there is indeed a similarity. Reminds me of grey flannel as well...I think someone else said polo. Seemed rather well received however so I'll give it an average rating. I'd rather wear Versace. To each his own.

This cologne is great, it smells awsome, the ladies love it, what mor could you ask. Buy this cologne. Nautica Competition and Ferrari 1 are the best colognes ever.

They recently changed the bottle to a yellow plastic bottle. Yes a plastic bottle. The scent is very sporty, very much to me smells like Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren. However, it is not as strong as that one. I sprayed this on me at the mall and it was gone in 5 minutes.

Yes, Nautica Competition is similar to Crave in that they both have strong lemon and citrus notes. I think both colognes are nice, however. Nautica Competition is also kind of 'soapy' like a bar of women's fragrance soap or something, almost like Lucky You or Claiborne's Curve. Nautica Competition also seems to be a direct marketing response to Polo Sport in almost every way, like the bottle, the target market, the advertising, and even the smell itself. I personally prefer Nautica Latitude Longitude over Competition but, unfortunately, LL doesn't last long at all.

Has the citrousy smell of crave but lasts longer from my observation.

Smells great - Like fresh apples and mint. Unfortunately, it wears off really, really quickly.

It's a wonderful scent and is sexy.

Must be why it sells like hotcakes. Your in a league of your own. Jack of all trades, master of none....

This is the cologne I wear everywhere I go. I am 16, I let me tell you, this cologne makes the girls flock to you. Everyone tells me how great I smell. Unfortunately, I reciently heard that Nautica is putting Competition out production, so grab as much as you can! I am. I will definitly miss this stuff. I will give Nautica an A+ for this one.

i used it about three years ago and remember wanting to run fifty laps around the stadium... it's a really good cologne that is very light and fresh...
