I found this perfume to be subtle but alluring.

A French friend of mine wore this in the winter of 1968, she wore it all the time and in the summer changed to Lubin Eau Neuve. Not created in the '90's.

just read the statement that Fath de Fathwas created in 1995 i have had the perfume since the early sixties,how is this possible?

I was given a bottle of body lotion and perfume back in 1997 and have loved it ever since. I love that the combination of the two last for the entire day, I have no need to put additional on for evening. It is one of only two that I wear and it is the number one on my list. I will continue to purchase it and hope that they never take it off the market. I really like the fact that it isn't at very perfume counter and only available to those who know the quality.

This was the only perfume that I used daily and also my signature. Everyone asked what is that wonderful fragrance?? When Jacobsens, a department store that closed, sold me a bottle prior to them shutting down and I had to return the bottle due to the sprayer being defective. Had I known that I would never see it again I would never of returned it. I have been searching for this perfume for 10 years.

Yes, you are right: Ellipse was a marvellous scent. For years I have been deploring its demise! And I sincerely wish that Fath would relaunch it.

Svetlana, you are so right this was the most incredible scent I ever wore, truly the finest ever. Men and women equally would stop on the street asking me what I was wearing and where to find it. Back then you could only find in France. I wish Fath would bring it out again.

Bought this fragrance for my girl last Christmas along with Anouchka by Revillon and Magnetism by Escada. Since that time, she's only worn this sensual wonder on maybe 3 occasions being that it's only the .5 oz. EDP bottle and she wants to preserve it being that I picked it up for a great price compared to the original retail. Since Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming, I'm predicting that she'll wear it on either one of those holidays..........I hope. I keep telling her that I love this scent on her and that if she runs out that I'll buy her another one.

The crystal bottle is fantastic, but the fragrance smells only so-so. Soft, fruity, syrupy, warm, and ambery, but not very unique. I miss complexity in Fath de Fath. When I saw the bottle I thought: OMG how smells Fath de Fath???? I expected a magnificent fragrance!!!! But for me a disappointment. Even the bottle looks so beautiful and romantic, I gave Fath de Fath away. No regret....

Got a sample of this in a trade, and I'm afraid I'm hooked! Very unusual scent, very sensuous. Don't know why, but it smells quite a bit like Yohji on my skin. This is not for the delicate but for the confident and outgoing. Ole!

Everytime I wear this fragrance I am asked what I'm wearing. This is the best fragrance on the market! I have traveled 85 miles to purchase Fath de Fath in the past. If you didn't carry it I'd make the trip every time I needed to! I can't say enough about this cologne. Every product in the line is supurb.

I have used this perfum since I found it in Georgia serveral years ago. It is a little heavy, but I think it smeels great & the men I am around love it. It is a sophisticated, sexy fragrance that is not for everyone.
