  • ELIZABETH07/05/2017

My late husband loved the fragrance on me. Will never change it!

  • GILL LONGMIRE08/11/2012

I have worn this perfume for many years and it is the only perfume that I own. Since I found out about your company, I have since purchased everything from you.

  • CLIFFORD COOPER05/16/2012

My wife's favorite spray perfume. She ranks it over Joy or Chanel #5 because of the scent.

  • DOROTHY03/31/2012

I had never used before, so went on the description. Didn't like it at all. Won't use it.

  • CHRISTIANGIRLTRACY12/23/2009

I am reading this message board in disbelief. I love carolina herrera, I always get compliments on this one and I have smelled a lot of perfumes. All of the new perfumes that come out all smell the same. carolina herrera is elegant and beautiful.

  • i think she make all the fragances for me... because when i put on ...unnnnnnn so niceeeeee , i love her.all she do is good for me.

  • CARLA T02/20/2009

I love the smell, it is a very elegant fragrance that stays with you all day. I get a lot of complements on it. it is one of my favorites.

  • ESTHER12/23/2008

Perfume is to be worn on pulse spots. What I love about it is that it smells different on each person that uses it. My favorite

  • ANN10/23/2008

I love it! I have worn it for years. It is the only perfume that stays on me...others just disappear. I hope she never stops making it!

  • JAN06/19/2008

I am trying to find the body cream in the ORIGINAL Carolina Herrera scent. So far, I have placed four orders for this from different companies, all claiming it's the original, however, upon receipt I find it's the jars in the gold polka-dot packaging rather than the black/yellow/white packaging! HOW in the heck can I find the jars of body cream in the ORIGINAL scent!?!? Don't they make it anymore? The newer one smells horrible on me! With the original, I have people stop me all the time to ask what I am wearing because it smells so great! Guys LOVE it! PLEASE HELP!

  • GILL04/23/2008

I have worn this perfume since it first came out, and all I get are compliments. This is the only fragrance that I wear.

  • MSORCHID02/10/2008

I've been wearing this for years. It smells great on me and men & women alike have commented on how great it is. However, I've also heard from women I know who have tried it themselves, thinking it would smell the same on them as it does on me. It didn't! I've gotten a number of free bottles of Carolina Herrera given to me because it didn't work out for someone else! It's just one of the few things I can wear without making myself sick. The secret to wearing this fragrance, is to use it SPARINGLY! As a rule, I only use the body CREAM!

  • BARBARA W08/29/2007

I don't care for strongly floral scents, so this isn't for me. Gave me a sinus headache. Definitely something to try if you do like florals, though.

  • BLONDIE07/26/2007

When I first sampled this all I could smell was Gardenia, then I began to notice the tuberose unfold and the combo nearly forced me to pull my car over and toss out the sample card. This to me is typical of the over the top much to lound scents of the late 80's and early 90's. It is in the same class as Georgio in it's hit you over the head strength. If this got in your clothes your entire closet would need to be dry cleaned to get rid of it. No thanks to this one for me! Flora lovers of classic scents try Joy.

  • JUDI W*03/28/2007

About 13 years ago, my brother's ex girlfriend, had this on, and on her, it was very feminine & interesting. Would I wear it, probably not, I just can't get myself to wear a flowery fragrance, and to think, one of my favorite colognes was Jungle Gardenia by Tuvache, back many decades ago.

  • AMY03/25/2007

i will definitely give my 3.3oz bottle away to my boyfriends mom who is 72years old. i'm sorry but the scent reminds me of old ladies who love that floral gardenia scent. once i get to that age maybe i'll love it but right now at the age of 34, i don't care for it.

  • AMY03/16/2007

i'm not big fan of floral scents but this one is wearable. very strong and long lasting so spray with caution.

  • HELEN03/08/2007

This perfume smells like jasmine/gardenia but very pungent...wheww too strong and old for me.

  • MARLYS02/15/2007

Carolina Herrera and Marc Jacobs resemble each other on my skin, but CH lasts much longer on me. CH is a bit sweeter, and reminds me that spring is coming. I know that gardenia is not listed as an ingredient, but it smells like gardenia to me.

  • ANNIE01/15/2007

I agree that Carolina Herrera definitelyhas 2 different scents under the same name. The original,is packaged in the black polka dot box, the other is in a gold dotted box. I wish to purchase the first(black polka dot box)

  • GREEKGIRL10/19/2006

Hi there, there is two versions of Carolina, one which is Carolina Herrera by Carolina Herrera, which is probably the first one you tried (floral) it smells like Fracas and Blonde by Versace, smells a lot like gardenias, then there is Carolina by Carolina Herrera which is more citrus and smells a lot like Coco Mlle from Chanel, hope this helps.

  • SOMEBODY HELP!10/17/2006

i sampled two carolina herrera. my mom liked the first bottle which is sooo floral. while i love the 2nd bottle which is sweet, citrus scent. planning to give my mom the floral carolina but im afraid i might order the wrong bottle which is sweet, citrus. help please!

  • JANETHLU05/31/2006

I love Carolina Herrera! Very sweet and will definitely make you stand out in a crowd! It is strong but only if you put too much on. A little bit goes a long way. I wore this back in the early 90's. Loved it then and still love it today! Sophisticated and perfect for evening wear.

  • LUSI05/11/2006

When I had this scent many year ago, I used to love it. But after I felt it recentelly in my mother in law, I found out it is a very good scent mostly for mature woman.

  • JACKIE04/25/2006

Everyone should try the perfume Carolina THIS IS MY FAVORITE, its strong ,but light at the same time.ITS PERFECT. JM

  • DEANNA03/04/2006

I agree with what some said about men responding to this--and a little does go a long ways. Its my "sexy, romantic" scent. But, where can I find it--we have Macy's, Von Maur, Dillard's, plus a ton of smaller retailers. I am about out--help!

  • AMY12/13/2005

love the bottle but not the scent. tried this at Ulta today and for me it's too floral.

  • NEVENA11/18/2005

I do not like the scent, on me or others. Would not wear it and hate it when somebody around me wears it. Very strong and long-lasting, though. If You like "Blonde" and "Fracas" it is worth a try. I however give it 3 stars for being so bold and recognizable, but not 5 for being similar to fracas, but not as good.

  • MAYA11/04/2005

Hi ladies. I've been wearing Blonde during summer months off an on and when I came across CAROLINA HERRERA I just could not believe what a resemblance. They are almost identical... Only CAROLINA HERRERA was released in 1988 and Blonde came alond in 1995... oops! Both are categorized as Floral - Orange Tuberose scents and of course both open with Orange Blossoms and Bergamot... very pretty! Also both have similar/same hear notes of Tuberose, Narcissus, and Ylang-Ylang and both have Sandalwood in the base... In other words a pretty close match!!! Try for yourself, I could not believe my nose ;)

  • JAN10/31/2005

I wore this in the early 90's and enjoyed it very much. I have found, however, that I still revert back to the more "classic" perfumes, ie. Shalimar, Fracas, etc. Something about them that just keeps drawing me back. The classics, I don't tire of. The more recent ones, I do.

  • CAROLEE STIRLING10/19/2005

the only scent I have worn since '88.....past students have commented "you still smell the same"...sure wish you still had bath powder

  • PERFUME JUNKIE08/26/2005

I used to wear this perfume when it just came out. They had it on sale at Sephora and I bought it for old times' sake. I remember why I liked it. It's great. And different. Huge success at the office. Everybody wanted to know what I wore. Don't overdo it, though. A little goes a long way.

  • NATTY08/18/2005

Every I put it on, women want to know what I'm wearing and my husband all over me. A little goes a long way. One thing though, is the original one still out or is the packaging different?

  • CRISTIANE07/03/2005

Excellent fragrance. Very exotic, I've been wearing it for about 10 years now. I love it. Men respond very well to it ... So, be careful...

  • PIA06/28/2005

The 80's? So what, does it really matter when the fragrance was made?Fragrance is timeless, and this lovely one is a classic.

  • REESE06/04/2005

This is very typical eighties parfum, heavy floral, good thing it's not too amberish or warm. The dry down is much better; rich & sophistication. Try "Carolina" for a more modern twist; it's more fruity and fresh.

  • MZPLACEDINPHILLY05/13/2005

This is a rather unremarkable scent. It is a little on the heavy side and reminds me of ladies with shoulder pads from the 80's - not that there is anything wrong with that, just not my thing....

  • TEENY04/07/2005

I kind of like this fragrance. It's one of those fragrances that I am wearing sometimes, but not sure about. It's very sweet smelling, kind of reminding me of White Shoulders. I would be interested in trying her other fragrances.

  • BELLE04/04/2005

Sooooo NO! Smelled this at a store today... funeral home flowers smell! Absolutely nauseating... almost felt sick because of the smell. This is not a good floral scent (even for those who like floral scents). This is cloyingly way overkill on the heavy florals. One of the worst I've smelled. Carolina is nicer, and the new 212 Sexy is very nice(it smells a lot like Escada Magnetism).

  • BELLE04/03/2005

does this really smell like "Giorgio Beverly Hillls" like some people have said? I hate "Giorgio". If this is similar, I will so not like it. Anyone who knows and will please RSVP, I would appreciate it!

  • ROBIN10/11/2004

This perfume smells just like Fracas. In fact I use Fracas body lotion and Carolina Herrera perfume. AWESOME!!!!!!

  • KATHY Z.09/25/2004

I recently purchased a mini of this fragrance and was so glad it wasn't a full size bottle. It's just a very average floral with no complexity to it. Nothing special.

  • KIKI09/18/2004

I wore this for my wedding 5 years ago and absolutely loved it. It smells good to me, but it is extremely strong and lasts for a very long time. I think it is definitely an evening fragrance. My husband now has chronic sinus problems and this is the only scent I have that irritates him every time I wear it. A similar fragrance that isn't quite as strong is Burberry Tender Touch.

  • MARSHA09/03/2004

15 years ago at an Indy 500 gala, a woman whisked by me and I dang near knocked her over to ask what cologne she was wearing!!!! Odalisque by Nettie Rosenstein is my #1 scent - Carolina Herrera is #2. And trust me, I am a woman who has had an obsession with perfume since birth! I know my perfumes.

  • MICHELLE08/05/2004

This is my signature fragrance. I get tons of compliments everytime I wear it.

  • DELORES07/21/2004

Need to find Body Talc or Body Powder

  • CHRISSY07/15/2004

I had to try this one based on some of the reviews. Wow is this stuff strong. I really didnt care for the scent on me. But I have to say I have never tried anything with such staying power. So if you like the scent on you. I think its quite worth it.

  • PATTI05/24/2004

I ordered this scent based on the recommendations posted. I just love it. It is very sophisticated. I recommend it highly.

  • SYNDI05/01/2004

Yes to me this has a heady jasmin & tuberose note that smells like a dead ringer to Giorgio Beverly Hills. To me this is a very dated heavy smell me scent from the 80's.

  • ELLIE04/13/2004

right on that strong, and kind of a fragrance you'd easily get sick of. when worn lightly, i'm sure it's good

  • LORRAINE02/22/2004

I just LOVE the fragrance. Men AND women have commented on how lovely the fragrance was on me and that I should always wear it.

  • ELENA12/05/2003

Carolina Herrera is superb!!! Very much like 273 by Fred Hayman. Classic jasmine all the way! I've tried to find Darla on the Internet...who makes this one?

  • DARLA10/21/2003

Yikes!!! I just read Debbie's comment: "Smells like Darla"...I have worn this since it first came out, and have loved it with a passion all these years. People are constantly stopping me to ask what I'm wearing and say they love it. Debbie - are you one of those people?

  • BIGZAK2510/15/2003

When I smell this on a good looking woman........man. It doesn't get any better.

  • LISA09/12/2003

I thought this fragrance smelled a lot like 273 by Fred Hayman, but stronger and more acidic...Ugh!

  • DEIDRA05/30/2003

I'm looking all over for a tub of C. Herrera powder. You can always tell a good scent by the way your bedroom/bathroom smells after you've bathed in it or sprayed it. If you can't stand to walk back in, you've got a bad one, but this is absolutely gorgeous, classic, and sexy!

  • MURKI05/21/2003

My neighbor wears this and my mom used to, it's instantly recognizable. Pretty floral, but strong fragrance molecules (sure that's not the correct terminology!).

  • SHARON05/03/2003

FRAGRANCES ARE TOLERATED DIFFERENTLY AND AQUIRED TASTE, BUT "DUH" JUST DILUTE IT WITH A FEW DROPS OF WATER. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. I ONLY WISH I COULD AFFORD TO PURCHASE IT MORE OFFEN. THIS PARFUME' PUTS THE OTHER DESIGNERS AND MFG.S TO SHAME!!! YOU ARENT SUPPOSE TO TAKE A SHOWER IN IT! LOL LOL ENJOY IT. ITS SEXY, FEMININE, ROMANTIC , WOODSY, AND EMPOWERS.....JUST WISH THEY MADE SOAP AND POWDER TO GO WITH IT! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS PEACE :)

  • FOR YOUR INFORMATION04/06/2003

It is her favourite perfume. As she said:"It is not sweet and it is not strong-it's nice. Always and only Herrera"

  • YVETTE03/19/2003

i love it but it just doesnt last on me.

  • LEE-ANNE03/10/2003

I have used many perfumes but I always seem to go back to CH. CH is one of the most seductive perfumes around. There is nothing like the smell of a great classic perfume.

  • CAROL02/15/2003

    #l..nose test...smells "stinky" #2..there is none!

  • LILLIANN02/13/2003

Pretty floral perfume...has orange blossom,tuberose,apricot,hyacinth...adore it...

  • APRIL02/08/2003

    Pretty floral...love it!

  • NIKKI12/17/2002

I know someone who wears this as their signature scent and it's so heavy, especially in the summer! Just over the top with the amber, which is one ingredient in a scent that needs to be used sparingly.

  • CAROLINA12/12/2002

I'm sorry I wasn't very specific on my past review. CH has a strong jasmin quality wich is very nice if you like sweet florals (very sweet florals ) but it also has lots of amber. This one is the kind of amber that smells old fashioned (can you remember those perfums that were so popular in the 80's?) Anyway, it's a nice classic scent and you might like it if you like Amarige and Michael Kors.

  • BARBARA10/04/2002

This fabulous fragrance is about 90% Jasmine. If you like knock you flat jasmine fragrance, this is for you. It's strong, it's a true floral (not a chemical imitation), and it's powerfully seductive. I had been researching fragrances for weeks when I found this in a duty free shop in France. One bottle is going to last you a very long time. Enjoy

  • CAROLINE08/25/2002

I really love the top notes, but I also hate the dry down! It would be perfect without those *80's notes. I think they must do a new version of the perfume.

  • BETH M05/03/2002

I am a perfume addict, and own many, many perfumes, but this one is my absolute favorite. Very floral - jasmine, tuberose- gorgeous.

  • MONICA04/26/2002

This is such a lovely scent, tuberose based, it is a warm, lush floral scent. On my skin it turns to a warm honey smell, warm, sensual, romantic.

  • VONNI04/20/2002

This one is a very elegant and complex floral. It is potent, so use judiciously, but it really is a beautiful fragrance. When I smell it, I always get a mental picture of elegant ladies in summer suits and wide-brimmed hats at a garden party or outdoor wedding reception - very refined!

  • CRAZYGREENRN02/26/2002

This is very strong and I thought overpowering. Way too much for me.

  • JUDY02/09/2002

this is a classic fragance, very good, kinda strong i think it is best for 30 and older

  • CINDI02/07/2002

I have worn this fragance since it first came on the market and still think it is beautiful. I'm forever being asked what the fragrance is and where it can be purchased. It wears great and is long-lasting.

  • MARCIA01/03/2002

I think this is one of the best fragrances I have smelled yet and a little goes a long way. Just one spritz and you will smell beautiful all day or night. It may not be the fragrance for everyone because it goes on a little strong at first, but as soon as it blends with your own natural scent, it becomes truly beautiful and romantic. My husband always says that I smell good when I put this one on.

  • SUSAN01/01/2002

Way too strong and heavy, ugh...

  • AIMEE12/19/2001

    Vanilla-spicy-floral. Ho-hum.

  • EVONE09/28/2001

I love wearing this when I go to the Islands. I think it is a bit too strong and floral when wearing it here in the States. Like everyone has said, a little goes a long way.

  • CHRIS09/26/2001

    Exotic and Unforgetable

  • MAGGIE09/04/2001

This perfume is in it's own kind. I never smelled anything like it. Use sparingly, though. A little goes a looong way.

  • DEBBIE08/26/2001

    smells like darla

  • BARBARA BRUCE08/12/2001

my sister has some carolina Herrera and liked it so much but at this time I'm not financilly able to buy any can you please send me some free samples because it smells so good. My address is 105 teaver ct Lagrange Georgia 30240

  • CONNIE OTERINO03/14/2001

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS EDP SINCE I WAS SIXTEEN AND IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL LONG LASTING SCENT I'VE TRIED. BUY THE WAY I'M 40 YEARS OF AGE. LATELY IT'S BEEN GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND HER PERFUMES AND THEY'VE BECOME HIGHLY EXPENSIVE.
