Trouble, the new signature fragrance from Boucheron. An enchanting fresh Oriental fragrance for women. A mesmerizing blend of beautiful floral notes, intertwined with the sensuality of exotic woods and amber, splashed with delicious drops of vanilla. Addictive on the first encounter, this new fragrance from Boucheron is for women who command attention...unsettle convention...and spark...trouble. Notes include Citron, Foxglove, Jasmine Sambac, Amber, Blue Cedar, Vanilla.
I love the Trouble Body Oil Spray. I use it on my body and in my hair to moisturize it and make is smell great! Wonderful product and great service on this website.
Excellent fragrance!
signature perfume! everywhere i go i get the same reaction *wow, what are you wearing?* or *you smell so good* i just love it! my body chemistry works well with this fragrance :)
Hey everyone, I've never tried this but based off reviews I've been reading everywhere I just bought the pure parfum at Overstock for $45. There are only a few left, so I wanted to let all the Trouble lovers here know about it1
Normally I'm attracted to vanilla based incense/amber fragrances, this being no exception. At first this opens with the promise of intrigue and sensuality after drydown I detect a tobacco note mixed with a tinge of salty body odor. I understand tobacco but don't care for it and thoroughly detest the body odor note. I really wanted to like this but it clearly was unable to acheive what it was designed to be. An adult scent that requires the right chemistry and social arena. Don't wear this to the office or to school or to Passover seder, save it for the biker bar or the club.
I found the body cream at T.J.Maxx for 9.99 last night. I bought 2 of them!!!
I've been wearing Trouble now for years and LOVE IT! But my friend who liked it on me tried it and it just doesn't work for her! Smells differently on her. With me some days you can smell the Vanilla and some days the citrus! My kids say it smells like fruit loops! I freak out when getting low on this perfume.
it so smells better then any thing i have put on dont know way they took it off the shelf it was the best seller
I wish I could like Hypnotic. There is something really intriguing about it, but all it ends up as on my skin is root beer. Sigh. Maybe one day it will click. It is hard to find a really great vanilla. Let me know if you stumble upon something great!
Does anyone know what the difference is between this and the original Trouble? Thanks
I have tried to find a vanilla that didn't nauseate me, but the only one that doesn't is Hypnotic Poison. I bought "L" by Lolita but it's too much,(no likey) and Trouble & Addict, have similar notes in them, that don't do it for me. So, I guess I'll stay with Hypnotic, even though it's not perfect, it's do-able. Glad your liking them...
Does anyone get an incense note from Trouble? I'm wearing it now and keep getting hints of a yummy incense, but I've never seen it on the official list of notes. Curious.
I gave it away, after someone in my office said that it smelled like a pipe tobacco store.
I've worn Trouble for umm 18 months and OMG...its TROUBLE when you wear it out to Clubs!! Guys love it!!!!
Angie said her husband finds both this one and Hypnotic Poison bothersome. That's amazing b/c my husband has disliked the exact same 2 scents. He says he doesn't know what it is but it reminds him of a previous girlfriend who had a very (unpleasant) particular odor about her. Go figure!
I haven't posted reviews here since 2003. Everything that you see, posted and signed as "Maya" or any of the triplets eversince is not from me. But hey... they do say that copying is the sincerest for of flattery. Too bad it comes from someone that low but sadly, we do not choose our stalkers, do we?
I have been waiting a long time to try Trouble - and was it ever worth the wait! This is one of my new favorites. It goes through so many interesting changes...the initial topnotes are deep and sexy, yet it still manages to smell fresh, never overpowering. I can smell the florals and woods for about an hour, but after that it warms up and blooms into this beautiful, soft vanilla/chocolately heaven - without being too sweet or "foody". It's a grown up fragrance, very sophisticated and elegant. Captivating! I'm so glad I finally discovered Trouble! I haven't worn it out in public yet, and I'm interested to see what the comments will be. If you love sophisticated orientals, you must try this! I haven't been this excited about a perfume in a very long time. Enjoy. :-)
Thanks Rebecca and Observer, I feel much less crazy knowing that several of you have researched this. I don't know if there are 2 or 3 Mayas. I've definitely increased my purchases on this site since becoming interested in the mystery. Please email me at [email protected] for further discussion about this and please put "Mary Alice" in the subject so my husband doesn't accidentally delete it! Thanks. I finally actually tried Trouble after reading the glowing descriptions. It is distinctive, warm and well-like by my man. I am trying to break away from the florals I have always worn and this works for me. It has great lasting power too.
FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE LEAVE THIS PARTICULAR POST ALONE! YOU'VE LIFTED IT FROM THE EARLIER MAYA'S (SINCE YOU HAVE CLAIMED SOMEWHERE THAT YOU ARE NOT THE SAME MAYA WHO POSTED EARLIER) REVIEW AND 'DONE IT TO DEATH' !! THAT LADY WROTE THIS ONCE AS HER REVIEW FOR COCO CHANEL....... BUT YOU ARE SOOOOO MESMERISED BY IT THAT YOU HAVE LIFTED IT AND MADE IT YOUR CALLING CARD ! LIKE ALL THE OTHERS HERE I MUST SAY YOU'RE BORING US ! I ACTUALLY DREAD TO OPEN YOUR POSTS OUT OF FEAR OF HAVING THIS 'VERY SAME' POST POP AT ME EACHTIME !
i have noticed long ago that this 'NEW' maya is not one of the triplets who used to post YEARS ago! yet she has been lifting 'that' maya's posts and particularly the one the 'original' maya wrote for coco chanel ! she has used it word for word (i think she really fell for the way the earlier maya worded it!!) for sooooo many perfumes......(read aromatics elixir) had this been a journalist's assignment she would have been sued for lifting articles and cheating (LOL)!!!!!!!
I'm glad you agree with us all. I was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed Maya's conceited & lengthy melodrama. But after reading Dolly Dagger's comments, I just had to respond. I think its hilarious how people reacted to our posts. Its sad, but I've read nearly all of Maya/Aphrael/Lola/Imaginary friend (or sister's) posts & there are lots of contradictions in her sagas. In one, she references her BF, in another her husband-& the one w/ the BF was written more recently than the other. She never mentioned a divorce?! What's up wit that?! I personally think she's full of it, & as for her identical sisters, I think this is, pathetically, nothing more than a figment of this highly creative woman's imagination, & nothing more. Ya gotta give her some credit though, she has good taste in perfumes & a large vocabulary, can't say that about every woman out there. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Trouble still rocks- Maya or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at the messages for Joy by Patou back to the beginning. There's an entire novel there by the Maya triplets (Maya, Aphrael and Lola). Adult fiction has no place on this board. We posters need help in choosing fragrances based on how they smell, what other perfumes they resemble and how long the scents last. If I wanted to read fiction, fantasy or poetry, I'd be on a site selling books.
I liked this perfume very much. It does have a sweetness to it, but not overly so. Not overly ambery either but a lovely oriental with depth of sweet/vanilla. Later on in the day I let my daughter smell my wrist and her eyes closed in pleasure and she said, "Ah, so that's what I could smell all day.mmmmm"
OK IF YOU LADIES HAVENT , PLEASE READ MAYA'S POST ON COCO CHANEL, FLOWERBOMB, HYPNOTIC POISON & AROMATIC ELIXIR. FOR I KNOW THERE IS MANY MANY MORE BUT , COME ON LAUGH WITH ME:) AND IF YOU WANT TO READ A BOOK BEFORE BED READ THE POST ON YOUTHDEW! AND THIS IS FOR ALL YOU LADIES AS WELL, FOR THE FUTURE MAYA JUST SAY HOW WELL YOU LIKE A FRAGRANCE AND FOR THE PEOPLE THAT WANT AN IDEAL OF THE SCENT GIVE THEM A NAME OF A SIMILAR PERFUME NOT A SHORT STORY !
YOU GUYS ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT MAYA, I HAVE READ THIS SAME MESSAGE ABOUT 12 TIMES WITH DIFFERANT PERFUMES FROM HER. DO YOU LADIES THINK SHE IS EVEN MARRIED ??? LOL I MEAN FORREAL MAYA I CAN BELIEVE YOU GET COMPLIMENTS ABOUT SMELLING GOOD BECAUSE I HAVE ABOUT 5 OF THE SAME PERFUMES YOU POSTED ON. AND I GET BOTH SEXES SAYING YOU SMELL SO GOOD AND WHAT IS IT.. BUT I NEVER HAD 1,000 MEN MAD BECAUSE I GOT A HUSBAND AND COULDNT GO OUT WITH THEM... AND WHY ARE ALL THE WOMEN SO JEALOUS WHEN THAY CAN PURCHASE THE SAME PERFUME YOU CAN... OK MAYA SO IF YOU WERE AT WALMART WITH NO PERFUME ON, WOULD ANYBODY ASK YOU OUT ??? IS IT YOU ? OR YOUR CHOICES IN PERFUME THAT ALL THE MEN IN AMERICA ADORE ???
Who honestly cares to read about how "alluring & seductive" this Maya supposedly is. For every good oriental perfume on this site she has these long-winded posts, that aside from somewhat interesting comparisons to other fragrances, are egotistical rants & basically her life story. If we wanted to read it, we'd buy her biography, for God's sake. And seriously anybody that feels the need to ring their own bell constantly in order to tout their so-called charisma to the opposite sex, is obviously starved for attention in REAL LIFE & very insecure. Anybody that disagrees with us, should read all of her corny, straight from a cheap paperback romance novel styled posts. I'm sure no one will contest our feelings after that. Maya, get a life! A life that has nothing to do with ranting & raving.
You say the same thing for every post, can't you think of anything original? Enough already, we get it, your irresistible to men, with or without a fragrance on...lol...
it took me so long to discover this. This is such a lush, intoxicating warm sensuous scent! I luv Casmir, Rapture by Victorias Secret, Hypnotic Poison, Versace Crystal Noir, Pink Sugar, Fantasy by Britney S, Cinema by YSL, Dune, Gloria by Cacharel, & Burberry Brit/Red, Shalimar, etc, so I'm surprised to find another warm, ambery vanillic. This is excellent for a romantic winter's night with someone extra special. Definitely my new favorite for nighttime. If you love any of the others I listed, (or are just a vanilla lover) chances are, you'll love it too.
Smells good, just a nice sweet perfume. Maya's review is hilarious. It sounds like something from a cut rate romance novel. Ok then!
this is an okay fragrance but nothing really special...the scent is very orange/vanilla/floral...the top notes are nice but fade a bit too quickly...the dry down is similar to dolce vita minus the pepper or hypnotic poison body lotion...is does have a little of that tummy turning afterscent so if you're prone to scent-nausea this may not be for you.
this perfume is good, it's really good. a true oriental. bewitching. but I would not recommend it for young ladies under 30. this is a perfume for WOMEN with attitude, and sex appeal, not for girly-girls.
Thanks Joanne. I have had many people say that, but I always like to hear it -- I guess experts need compliments too. Enjoy!
Because when I wear it,the reactions I get range from the total strangers(men) who start following me around, asking if they can come closer to SMELL me better, to the bold ones who ask me out and then fall apart when I tell them I'm married, finally to the women who somehow get really hostile when they detect it on me. Actually the only time I've seen another woman react positively to my wearing Trouble is when she too is a Trouble user. For those reasons my husband has asked me to wear it only when I'm with him,to diffuse many potentially unpleasant situations...Of course, I don't always keep my promises, and that,of course,is the fun part.
My favourite perfume ever. A new classic borns for elegant woman. This scent is unforgatable !
Hi Maya, love reading your posts. I am a perfume nut and your posts are quite informative and I think we have similar tastes in frgrance!!
Trouble is delicious. It's much more surpising than most orientals. Something very special about it, even hard to describe!
Well, I am in shock ! I've been seeking for so long for a good and new fragrance, something up to date, but it needed to be special. Finally I found trouble, one of the best perfumes I have now.
Well, I bought Trouble and I really liked it. It is strong, smells sort of like Hypnotic Poison to me. The only problem is that my husband found it offensive. I do not know why.
This is a very sexy and exotic fragrance. Always when I wear I feel a diferent sensation, diferent notes of the perfume. My fave !!!
I love trouble ! And I really dont think it smells like addict, wich I dont like. Does anyone agree ?
To me I smell Black Licorice and Vanilla...a little like Hypnotic Poison maybe? Smells good!! Great for nights out. Would definately reccomend.
Trouble is one of my most favorite fragrances. Thank you to all the girls on this site who make me want to try it. Now I have it and will not change it with another again
I just bought a bottle of Trouble Eau Legere and it's a very light version of Trouble (I smell more jasmine) but it does not last! I have put it on three times this morning (heavily, I might add) and it is very faint after 30 minutes. I'm going to buy some more Trouble dry oil spray, which is heavenly, and layer it to see if it helps. Unless you want a fleeting fragrance save your money.
I love this fragrance reminds me a little of addict and cinema , for those who are having trouble with the lasting power you could try layering it with vanilla body lotion and shower gel ( i get mine from the body shop) since ive been using this combo (with all my fragrances) my perfumes have been lasting a lot more so give it a try (if you like vaniila that is). Great perfume.
Well, I THINK I know what you mean about getting in trouble, or lack thereof! Being single, I am rarely getting in "trouble" these days, whether wearing Trouble or not!!! More of a sad commentary on the dumb men I meet than my perfume choices! Still, Trouble is devlishly precious to me. The only drawback is that is just doesn't last on me. I usually associate my sexy scents with a high degree of potency, which Trouble just doesn't have on me.
something troubles me about trouble... it just does not get me in "trouble" (if you know what i mean )...i so wanted to love it ,since i love the bottle ... i mean , i wanted something like indecence , bl.cash.,hyp poison does anyone out there feel this ?) ... and there just isn't that "something more ". i have a mini one , bc it is such an amazing bottle.
I decided to check out message board today..I missed your comment several months back. I did pick up Trouble and I love it, I have a story to share. I was at the health club and a man came up to me with pen and paper and asked me to write down the scent I was wearing. Differnt approach, but it was not my only compliment when wearing this. Thanks for your help.
Disorder, Eastern expenses, sensual and envoûtant. A tempting perfume by its fresh notes and intrigantes, captivating by its opulent and carnal notes. The bottle color black ruby, cubic of heavy glass to the faceted angles, let guess the fragrance, fusion of opulent and voluptuous notes.
Awesome fragrance! Never thought I'd find anything better than Boucheron, but I love TROUBLE! So does my guy!!
Wow! Trouble certainly makes an entrance. Several of you have commented that it smells like YSL's Cinema, but in my opinion, Trouble has a fun "kick" to it that makes Cinema seem downright wimpy. Trouble is rich, interesting . . . and naughty. Love it. Husband loves it. Lasts a long time.
I bet Cleopatra must have been wearing this perfume when Caesar felt in love with her! It is simply irresistible!!!! so different, so rich, so sensual and sexi! and I also like bottle a lot, coz I really like everything with a symbol of snake :-)
Hi Belle, I hope this helps... Trouble to me is more like Hypnotic Poison by Dior it may have just a hint of that licorice note in it (for me) upon the opening but not nearly as dominant as is in HP...very nice!... perhaps even a bit like Addict by Dior as well... kind of like a cross between the two with the middle notes that to me smell a lot like Forever Krystalle (an old perfume I still love to wear once in a while)... So to me Trouble is a bit spicy even, and I have to add that I really love it... Narciso is more creamy and smooth... musky but in a very, very nice way... If you've had a chance to smell Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, it's a lot like that but a little bit more smoother and more refined... hence the price difference... Lovely stays on longer however I think, although Narciso wears very well too... One major difference as well is that in Trouble vanilla is very dominant as is in Addict and Hypnotic... I have to say that I love vanilla especially when done in a spicy-sweet way like that (Addict I love)... Narciso is not so very vanilla-like or sweet (although to me it does have nice vanilla note in it that is more creamy - just not as dominant), but like I said there is more play on musk and woods there.... Belle they really are both VERY gorgeous but also very different! Enjoy and Happy Holidays and I hope this helps a bit...
I have smelled Trouble, and it's nice. I need to know if Narciso Rodriguez is similar, and if so, what are the similarities? How about the differences? Thanks to anyone who knows and answers me.
you should try the new shimming body mist. Love it for the holidays. I also get multiple compliments daily on Alien by Thierry Muglar. Michael Kors body cream is the yummiest too!
An enchanting fresh Oriental fragrance for women. A hypnotic blend of beautiful floral notes, combined with the sensuality of exotic woods and amber, with delicious drops of vanilla. Addictive on the first encounter. For the woman who doesn't mind causing a little trouble. Notes include Citron, Foxglove, Jasmine Sambac, Amber, Blue Cedar, Vanilla.
Hi Jo, in my opinion Trouble is just perfect for the upcoming autumn/winter season! Narcisco Rodriguez is nice too, but in my opinion it does come as a runner up to Trouble! I do find that Trouble is quite long lasting, a lot more so than Initial also by Boucheron or Omnia by Bvlgari, although they too are exquisite (might want to give them a try). Trouble is sexy, mysterious and a little spicy and woody at the base.... Quite provocative and just bewitching at the heart of Jasmine! All in all I find that Trouble is very exotic, always receives a complement and is really easy to wear especially in the upcoming months! Always mesmerizing and ready to command attention!
looking for a scent that will last trying to choose between Kenzo, L'elepant, Trouble or Narcisco Rodriguez???
Just got a sample of this and love it. It is definitly one I will purchase in the near future. Quite possible this will become my signature scent over Omnia.
There is a light version that is for wearing in the heat and sun. It costs $48.00 for 3.4 oz. It is really nice. I like this version and the original version of Trouble. My new signature!!
NICE BUT I COULD BE IN TROUBLE WITH MY BOYFRIEND! A TAD TOO STRONG FOR HIS SENSITIVE NOSE, I'D SAY. I JUST HAVE TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM WHEN I'M WEARING THIS HEAD-TURNING SCENT! AND THEN, I'LL REALLY BE IN TROUBLE!
Yes, Trouble is like Cinema with great staying power. I love Cinema too, but it is weak. Trouble is much heavier and lasts longer! I love it! Great winter or fall scent.
I have tried the light summer version (Limited edition for summer 2005) -Trouble Eau Legere Nacree EDT and I found it very sexy and interesting. Slightly sweet, semi-oriental, not too overpowering, I prefer it to original EDP which is too bitter/sweet Oriental for my tastes. The bottle and pearly fragrance in it are very attractive too. I'm probably going to purchase it, can't resist.
For those of you who think that Trouble is a little cloying, there is a Limited Edition of it out this summer that is lighter, and, I think, nicer. You might want to give it a try. I much prefer it to the original Trouble.
Like Trouble very much and Dior Addict too. I think Trobule is drier more powdery (smells like some old books from the 19th century) and Addict is more flowery. The trouble with Trouble is, as mentioned by previous posters, the staying power that is not so good as Addict´s. Therefore I give Trouble four stars even if the scent (if stayed better) itself is a Five.
Just when I thought Todd Oldham was safe in the #1 slot, along comes Trouble. I LOVE this fragrance. Everything about it is fantastic! Exotic, sensual, romantic, everything I like in a fragrance. My only complaint is that it definitely fades quicly on me. Waiting for a body lotion to come out and layer with it.
This smells just like Cinema from YSL. Like both of them, and my boyfriend loves it. Very sexy.
My favourite from Boucheron. Subtle, soft, vanilla, oriental, lightly citrusy. A rare excellent, distinctive combination of fine ingredients. I became addicted just with a sample. I Will surely get a bottle. This will be my signature scent.
This scent is so wonderful and I get compliments on it almost every day. I love it because it is a sexy evening scent but can also be worn during the day. A prior post said that the recall was due to the name, but this is incorrect. The recall was due to a copyright infringement on the cap. The snake design, specifically. All new bottles have a plain gold cap. If you have the original style bottle, hold on to your cap! I believe the old cap can be slipped on to the new cap to cover it. Boucheron did a good thing with this scent. It is one you simply must try!
It's not bad, but I found it very very similar to Dior Addict which I absolutely adore for it's staying power.May be will buy it after i get thru my addict.other wise will be complete waste of money as I would have 2 perfumes that smell alike.Would rather buy Stella - something that smells different from these two.
i'm so sad, last fall i was trying to find a cold weather perfume, and after sniffing about 8 billion different scents and narrowing it down between trouble and addict, i chose addict. well i went to the mall a few days ago and decided to spray on trouble for old times' sake and it smells TOTALLY AWESOME! why oh why did i pick addict?! :(
Hi, I have noticed that some of you complain about lack of staying power in perfumes. This is mainly caused by dry skin. If you ad a little oil on your skin before spraying, the perfume will last longer and dry dowm at a much slower pace. A very dry skin can ruin any good perfume. Always use a few drops af almond oil on your hand before testing a perfume.
I just found out that it was recalled because of a corporate dispute with another company that has a snake on the top of their bottle. (I bet it was Roberto Cavalli.) If you look on the Sephora website, the top is not on the bottle that is displayed. Anyhow, it will be interesting to see what type of top Boucheron comes up with.
Hold on to your Trouble everyone. I own this fragrance in the EDP and wanted to purchase it in the pure parfum. All supplies have been recalled because there is a discretion with the name. The sales rep at Nordstrom said it will probably be reintroduced.
id be bad for trouble, find the trouble in me ,infatuating, trouble cant get enough
its no tropuble to be in trouble heaven, radiant like the stars above my head, id be bad for trouble
its no tropuble to be in trouble heaven, radiant like the stars above my head, id be bad for trouble
My Friend told me about this perfum, and I was skeptical at first b/c I never smelled it, but she has EXCELLENT taste. I just got it in the mail and BOY I love it, Smells SO good, and I can't wait to go home for my hubby to smell it. Becuase when I do, I will be in *Touble*!!! lol
Everytime I wear this fragrance, I have men and women salivating in my office. This is one of the best fragrances I have ever tried. A real winner!
On my quest this fall to find a new winter fragrance, I decided to smell Trouble after all the good reviews here. Well, the oriental category really isn't my first choice in fragrance, but nonetheless, this one really is NOT BAD. Not bad, but still not great enough to me that I wanted to purchase it. The lovely long lasting scent of spices and vanilla did have me deciding all afternoon though, which I guess is saying a lot considering this is usually not my type of scent. If you tend to like sweet vanillas and spicy orientals, then this is a good one... much better and more complex than the similar Hypnotic Poison.
This was my new favorite until Prada arrived on the scene. Now Trouble, although nice, is backseat to Prada.
The spicy/sweetness of Trouble is so sexy, without being overpowering. It definately compliments my sly, mischevious personality.
I received Trouble as a birthday gift! I absolutely love it! The bottle is cool, too. Too much of a good thing is wonderful!
and a tad heavy.. but if you put just a little on its great.. very sexy and raw.. this is just on initial application.. I am excited for the dry down
I read that many of you find this lovely scent too strong. My problem is that on me it has no staying power! And I like it so much. I'm so jealous of those on whom it stays all day. :(
Another vanilla based fragrance, and therefore very trendy. However, I think this fragrance smells like vanilla and coconut. It is too sweet and heavy. Not one for me.
Hey can anyone tell me if the "new" trouble perfume is just like the "old" fragrance....I AM IN A DESPERATE SEACH for the Trouble I used to wear...Im wondering if they have just redone the bottle but the scent is the same...any help is greatly apprieciated. Thanks
I just bought my first bottle last night. Boy...it's smells super sexy. This is going to be a great fall scent. I don't usually like warm spicy scents but this one smells amazing. Can't go wrong with this one. My husband really liked it too!
I now have tried Trouble. Love it!! On me, it does seem to be similar to Dior Addict, but not near as strong. Some people who like the smell of Addict but can't wear it because it can be loud & cloying on some, would most likely love "Trouble". The staying power is excellent, but it doesn't have headache inducing ingredients. I absolutely love this fragrance. It's my favorite now that I've tried it! Men & women have complimented on how good I smell when I'm in "Trouble".
I have tried L'Or Torrente. It is a pretty sent but it just doesn't seem to have the depth that Trouble has. If I were to describe L'Or I would say that the vanilla is much milder, it has coffee, and it is breezy. Personally, I prefer Trouble but I had to get use to the vanilla. Last week L'Or was on sale at the Sephora website for half price. If you are planning to purchase it this may be a good time. But please, don't let my opinion sway you.
This perfume is rich, long lasting, deep and a wonderful oriental - the best out there in my opinion. This is for the women who knows what she wants and then gets it!!!! Yeah!
Has anyone ever smelled Paul Smith London? I was wondering if was any comparison between it and Trouble. Can anyone tell me? Also who has smelled L'or De Torrente? What do you think about that one? I haven't smelled these two fragrances I'm asking about, but as for "Trouble", I'm getting ready to try that one. Someone's opinion on it in comparison to the other two mentioned would be appreciated. I'll post a rating later for "Trouble" after I try it.
I love this one. I am looking for a new winter scent and I've found it. In the past, I've worn bijan, intuition, versace woman, MAC2, and lolita for winter scents. This won me over. I am going to put it on my Christmas list and hopefully I'll get it. Every time I go shopping I spray the tester. The first 5 minutes it seems way too "in your face" strong, but after it settles - it is awesome! Trouble also stays with you for a long time!
I bought this unsniffed after hearing about others raves on this scent. I didn't care for Addict. I love Trouble. Perfect for fall/winter. The bottle is beautiful.
I saw this add for Trouble in a magazine before the summer and sampled it while at an appointment. Immediately i got great compliments so i went to the department store and bought it. Little pricy in Canada but its definitely worth it. After a while the smell dissipates to your own senses but believe me, it's still there! People go crazy when i wear this!
Got "Trouble" as a present today and loving it ! It's a complex, sensual and very yummy, long lasting scent. I love the bottle too !
I received a sample of ths fragrance in the mail from a major dept store...wore it to work next day & WHAT A WONDERFUL & CLASSY FRAGRANCE. I love it! Plan to buy it real soon. Definitely on my list of favorites.
Wow! This is a very sexy and spicy scent but at the same time it has a soft roundness to it so it is not overpowering! I love to wear it, especially at night....it's just plain gorgeous!
Some time last year I started looking for a fragrance to wear for evenings out. I wanted something that was strong and sexy. I use to wear Coco years ago and loved it but it just seemed too for my taste now. I purchased Dior Addict but I didn't wear it with confidence because there is something in it that seems offensive to me. Whenever I tested trouble it was too intense upon being sprayed and soon dried down to a very strong vanilla note. It was at that point that I would wash it off. I decided to try it one more time, since it was receiving many great reviews, this time I left it on. I'm Glad I did! I can't say enough about it...Boucheron has hit the mark! Wow, it is powerful yet soft. If you wait, that strong vanilla note will dry down and no longer overpower the fragrance. Another future purchase for the same occasion will be Must de Cartier. I can't believe I never purchased that either.
Got huge raves from husband and friends
I like CD Addict perfume - alot. But this fragrance has very little similariites to Addict. Maybe the hint of Vanilla. Trouble has many levels of notes to it. It is a complex, lovely perfume. Not a bland, flat scent. I highly recommend trying this one. It is sexy.
Yes they are vanilla based orientals. But Addict has an array of night blooming florals and a sweet, resinous syrupy smell and also a animalic smell - I love it also. Trouble is intoxication with a hint of citrus and wisteria and vanilla. It just smells so good. I get compliments on it a LOT. The bottle is so beautiful too.
I always wore hypnotic poison but was searching for something more unusual and uncommon...this is it!
Why bother to create a new perfume if it smells exactly like Dior Addict?
This perfume is delicious. It's much more subtle than most orientals. It also has a light flowery touch. I fell in love with it the moment I tried it. And the bottle is so unique. Only trouble with Trouble: not much staying power. SIGH!
This, by far, is the best Boucheron ever. It has a nice depth and staying power and I can't wait to try it in the cooler months also. The bottle is fantastic as well...ruby red glass with a snake on the top...HOTTTT!!!
