The two are indeed very similar. Replace the peach note in Burberry with a touch of spicy florals, and you get Signature - but just a TOUCH of floral, mind you. This is not a predominately floral scent; a better description would be a soft, woody, earthy perfume. Nicely balanced, pleasant fragrance that probably won't offend most people. Not terribly seductive, but for all other occasions it would be very nice.

The original Burberry (in the similarly shaped bottle). I just tried Burberry yesterday, and was immediately reminded of Signature. Same soft, woody aroma, though Signature is a bit more spicy and a bit more complex. I think you could wear both at the same time, that's how similar they are! I'd be interested to see if others feel the same...

I bought this fragrance based on the great reviews. When I first smelled it, I wasn't very impressed...I was expecting brighter top notes, I think...but a few minutes later it mellowed to this wonderfully soft aroma. No one note stands out - you couldn't describe it as floral or woody, just a nice combination of both with a touch of sweetness. Stays close to the skin. It's sexy, but not "in your face", which I like. If you're looking for a good overall fragrance that would be appropriate for the office or out on the town, this is it. Just give it a while to develop and don't judge it right away like I did. :)

This one is not very well known, but try it. It is a very warm, soft floral/oriental and gets better as you wear it. Good if you find Casmir too spicy and sombre, Signature is easier to wear and has the right balance of fruitiness and spice. Very feminine.

This fragrance starts with citrus, followed by gourmond notes like Casmir, yet never smells heavily sweet. The secret must be the base that is a dead ringer for Aliage, which is loaded with vetiver. This same base note is also in Burberry, but here is far less pronounced. This is a very well designed fragrance and the bottle is rich and expensive feeling as well.

Nice floral with a mellowness to it, if there is such a word. Something in it reminds me somewhat of Chloe Narcissus. Definitely wearable for many occasions!

Wow, my name is also Vivian, but I'm called by my middle name, because my mothers name is Vivian also. I bought this perfume this summer because it did not smell like many others. However, I discovered that it is far too light. I need a heavier scent. So, I don't get much use out of this one. But, I would recommend it to those who like a nice lighter scent.

Signature is a very good fragrance. I received many compliments on its clean yet sophisticated scent. Good for work !
