been wearing green water since the early 70's and have been hording off and on when ever they stop making it of hoarded it so i haven't run out 38 years later
inadequate. green water is a light and barely detectable not even fruity but green fragrance.smells kinda like spearmint and doublemint gum mixed together. for a good green try green valley by creed or even paul smith.
An absolute classic! Not very popular in Ohio. It is light as a springtime breeze. A very unique signature scent. Works well for both sexes! Very calming.

I remember my first encounter with Green Water in 1978: light, subtle, tasteful, elegant, and still the only scent I chose to wear.
OK, call me an old man. I love this stuff. Reminds me I'm not a little kid anymore. As a previous post said, "its the perfect green scent".
The combination of mint, jasmine and other "green" influences makes it a great scent for outdoors types, summertime wear. More subtle than Bowling Green but not as long lasting. Think mountain springs, waterfalls, tropical rain, and you've got the image. Contrary to one comment here, it's plenty masculine; a scent doesn't have to hit you with a sledgehammer to be masculine.
For fellows whom are light in the wrist...
Very upbeat and fresh. I wear this often: a very cheerful scent, far too good just for men!
