  • TAMMY09/09/2015

love this cologne on my husband

  • GUS05/02/2011

Smells like a soup of celery. I can't stand it, really.

  • EDD04/29/2011

I love this stuff, have a job getting it in the UK. Any women that dont like it are probably dykes

  • DON CORLEONE04/27/2011

I used to wear this stuff in the mid 90's when I was a teenager, along with Cool Water. I was at the mall today playing around with fragrances and I tested it out again for old times' sake. Wow, this stuff is reeeaaaallllly bad. Nauseatingly pungent with a rough drydown. Don't see how I ever wore this stuff back in the day. Yikes!

  • TIM03/19/2011

ITS THE ONLY COLOGNE I EVER GOT COMPLIMENTS ON ITS OVERPOPULAR BUT IT IS FOR A REASON

  • KEITH03/05/2011

i love the smell of me after I put my after shave on and so do all my women

  • JOHN11/23/2010

one the greatest fragrance of all time, brother used to kick this back in the mid to late 80's !

  • JENNY09/30/2009

Butt. Sorry, but this is the smell you get from alcoholics who eventually have an alcohol smell eminating from their skin. Just sharp and nauseating.

  • DAVE C 09/16/2009

drakkar is the essence of what a mans fragrance should be not wussy or too sweet just manly man dc,

  • MICHAELINA12/11/2008

Just went on a first date with a man who wore this "scent". My god, I could not stand it. I had to ask him what he was wearing because I've never smelled anything so sharp and pungent. Perhaps when men wearing this are asked "what are you wearing?" they mistakenly assume that the asker wants to know because they like it. Otherwise, I simply can't understand the high ratings given to this garbage by so many men on this site. Ignorants!

  • PATRICK12/05/2008

Drakkar will drive women crazy and make men smell good as flowers.Who wants a stinky man? But Drakkar is there to save you men

  • SKILLET MCGHEE11/11/2008

Drakkar Noir doesn't. I don't know why this cologne has been so popular. It smells like a bad air freshner...very synthetic.

  • GIA06/10/2008

Men out there: women may tell you they like this on you but they are just being polite. It reeks. There is no way to apply it that isn't offensive and too strong. Toss it out and try some of the other really nice, subtle scents for men, like (insert ANYTHING here, because they are all better than this sweaty-smelling bug spray).

  • JOEL05/19/2008

IT HAS AN EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE WHEN U WERE THIS PERFUME... USUALLY I USE THIS IN OUR TROPICAL COUNTRY (PHILIPPINES) AND IF ANYBODY SMELL THE FRAGRANCE OF DRAKKAR, THEY ALWAYS ASK ME IF WHAT PERFUME I USED? I SIMPLY SAY DRAKKAR NOIR IS THE BEST.

  • SMITTY10/05/2007

others come and go but drakkar will always stay. 100% female endorsed in my experience.

  • WILSON09/18/2007

I PUT THIS STUFF ON BEFORE I GOTO WORK AND WOMEN AND GUYS ALLWAYS SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT AND IAM 24YEARS OLD....I LOVE IT!!!

  • KNIGHT09/15/2007

Drakkar's a legend through and through. The essence of masculinity. Drakar Noir= steel cojones.

  • BARBARA W07/16/2007

Lynda, just read your post and it cracked me up! Couldn't agree more.

  • BARBARA W07/16/2007

This is one of those few fragrances that I absolutely can't stand. It smells like someone took a huge case of Zest soap, ground it up and doused it with vetiver. Sharp, nasty, and awful. Like Cool Water, I just never got the appeal of this one. Obviously, I'm in the minority again as those are two of the best sellers ever in men's fragrances. Oh well...

  • JUDE C05/23/2007

Yes, this smells good. Kinda of dark and mysterious, but not terribly so. It is just average to me and way way way to trendy and popular - laughable how trendy it is. But it is good for a beginner, for a high school kid. This or Polo should be a teenagers first purchase - a rite of passage. However, it is not for guys once they hit 20's and get some sophistication. A good place to start is all I can say about this stuff. We all started our cologne experience with Drakkar.

  • JASON05/18/2007

I don't get why this is so popular. It's quite possibly the worst scent I've ever smelled. The initial spray causes an immediate headache and reeks of retirement home furniture. Once it reaches drydown it smells like an odd spicy fresh deodorant sprayed on retirement home furniture. If you want a headache and to smell like old used and abused furniture then Drakkar Noir is the way to go!

  • KEVINB.04/27/2007

i really think this fragrance was changed over the years, the dry down isn't the same as it used to be.

  • JEAN GENIE03/27/2007

Drakkar Noir smells like something you clean furniture with. It has a very chemical like odor to it. I don't see why it's so popular.

  • MARIE02/15/2007

I don't know what's wrong with all of you who hate this. I'm VERY picky and sensitive and LOVE Drakar Noir on my husband.

  • PERFUME LOVER12/27/2006

i want to know that how should perfume should be applied, i mean i should spray directly to skin or through hands, and where to apply perfume in skin?

  • LYNDA12/20/2006

Couldn't agree more. If you distilled the essence of about 20 fat sweaty guys who put on too much aftershave then went to a nascar race on a hot sunny day and drank a few too many beers, this is what you would end up with. Phew.

  • IRINA12/18/2006

Horrible, horrible penetrating smell that pierces your nostrils and goes right to the base of your brain, causing a miserable headache. SHARP. There is nothing subtle or pleasant or sexy about it at all. It doesn't seem possible for men to wear this dreadful stench without applying WAY too much of it, to the point where they reek of it. Even when they depart, it remains in the room behind them. Smells a bit like bug spray, with DEET.

  • KATRINA JONES12/10/2006

This is the sexiest cologne ever. My boyfriend Justin Alexander Clemins wears this all the time and it just drives me wild. THE BEST. Katrina.

  • DESIREE 11/16/2006

my ex wore this, he always smelled good. it's too bad more men don't, that's the secret to keeping a girl close

  • VICTOR RICHLAND CREIGHTON III10/11/2006

Around the time this stuff came out and up to maybe ten years after, this was considered to be one the best spicy evening hits out there for men. Nowadays I find it to be annoyingly spicy with a putrid drydown. If you have to wear an average-priced drugstore scent for the evenings then may I suggest JOOP! instead.

  • IZZY10/10/2006

I myself have never been too crazy about this scent but from my own personal observations women love it. Wear it with confidence you will get noticed. And remember the cologne that you don't like women do and the cologne women like men don't like. Go figure. Like I said I really don't like this cologne but the opposite sex does.

  • TONY T07/05/2006

too arid and not wearable. one of the worst spicy scents imo. 24 years later and this is not a hit and should have never been.

  • KENNETH V. RICHELIEU06/23/2006

This was really good stuff for being average-priced way back in the day but by the mid to late 90s this scent ran out of gas. This spicy masculine drugstore cologne absolutely cannot hold a candle to any modern competition of it's genre and the drydown I can no longer stand.

  • M.R.04/15/2006

One of the most popular and commonly worn colognes of its time is a bold & spicy lavender-woody scent which I really did like but not love being that I was never crazy about its drydown.

  • SOSA03/18/2006

I know somebody who wears it everyday, and when this person is close to me, I feel dizzy and my nouse start burning. And after a moment the room smells too. And my light perfume(the good one) is defeated by this so strong essence. This fragance smells like cheap incense made in India.

  • QWERTY02/28/2006

I like the smell because it brings back fond memories of childhood. Memories like mullets. If you have one, it probably works for you. Sadly I'm not man enough to enjoy this. Just like nascar. What a shame. Watching cars turning left is so amusing.

  • NATURALLY HUGE02/07/2006

Even though Drakkar has been around a while, it is a classic, manly scent. My wife loves it and she tells me it makes me smell "like a man."

  • WIRANA, THE ALCHEMIST02/07/2006

Drakkar noir is comparable to Escada's Magnetism but Drakkar has a more unique scent which is a classic in its own right. But this does not mean it is great. The high notes are interesting and identifiable though they induce sneezing but the drydown is problematic because it smells like an unripe mango. Also drakkar noir despite its uniqueness does not really last as long as some other classics. One good tangible thing about Drakkar unlike other fragrances, is that there is an absence of the reeking smell of alcohol.

  • BREWINS801/20/2006

I have tried tons of different colognes. The only one that consistently provokes strangers coming up to me and asking what I'm wearing cause I smell awesome is Drakkar Noir. I've seen many magazines of blind scent test where Noir wins hands down. If women coming up to you and telling you that you smell great isnt for you then dont buy it. It certainly isnt for kids.

  • DON LUCAS01/17/2006

I used to love this cologne. This was the very first cologne that I was introduced to, as worn by my father. Now as an adult it smells like a boring young man would wear it. My pops was cool though!

  • HERA01/13/2006

ah Drakkar! my ex used to wear it and I used to tear his clothes off as soon as he stepped in the door ;-) I still love it but haven't come across a guy who wears it in years. shame as I think it's a classic.

  • MS THANG01/02/2006

Fellas I have always hated this cologne since Junior high school. This seems to be a 1st fragrance for young boys 27 and over. Don't go there guys you will turn off the ladies, please don't.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE12/14/2005

In this day and age, it smells outdated and a bit oldman-smelling. But still very bold, masculine and WAS a hit way back in the day.

  • RN12/09/2005

I really tried to like this one, but I just cannot get used to its boring, cheap smell. I think it's a bit too old fashioned also, and has nothing special about it.

  • GRETCHEN12/02/2005

I absolutely love this scent- it could never be outdated because the scent of a clean man will never go out of vogue. This is a definite turn-on cologne- men who don't heed to that are foolish! By the way, if you like the scent of Drakkar Noire, Yankee Candle Company makes a candle called "Midsummer Night" that smells exaclty like Drakkar Noire. Love it! Love it!

  • SAWYER12/02/2005

Crystal said "YOU ARE RIDICULOUS. WEAR WHAT YOU LIKE!!! Who Cares if its out of style. BE ORIGINAL!!!!" That's a bit funny since so many guys wear this stuff. I seem to smell it everywhere. I'm not putting down Drakkar Noir, but it's not for me. If you really want to be original then check out some Aloeswood oil(Oud), Cristobal, or Gier Ness. That will certainly set you apart from everyone else. Just my 2 cents.

  • JENNIFER11/25/2005

I have to say that most colognes that guys wear today give me a roaring headache and they are always drenching themselves in them. But Drakkar is subtle and bold at the same time. My husband used to wear it all the time, before i met him. He said he would spray it on his shirts and the smell would stick to the shirt after several washings. I didn't believe him and he pulled a shirt out of his closet and had me smell the collar. He was almost jumped right then and there. Thank you Guy for making a cologne that better then what has been, what is and what will be in stores.

  • RICHARD11/11/2005

I Love this scent! It reminds me of of my heyday in 1985. Dancing, drinking, and staying out till the wee hours of the morning. the next day, the scent would still be with me. Original and very masculine.

  • HAROLD11/03/2005

Although cheaply priced in any store particularly drugstores, it became an instant bold and masculine classic since its release 23 years ago. Although sometimes when I think about it, it does smell kind of oldman's type of cologne but I guess that would be up to chemistry.

  • J. YORK10/12/2005

Even though this oldie is found in just about every drugstore out there for below the average price, it's still a timeless classic among mens' colognes.

  • JAMES09/15/2005

4 or 5 sprays turns me into like some sort of superhero I used to dream of as a kid. Many times I have had to hire a body guard just to keep crowds of chicks from chasing me in the mall. It's become a problem, but everyone seems to understand and says "Hey, that dude must be wearing Drakkar." I always take time to sign a few autographs as a courtesy.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI08/19/2005

The two reviews about Drakkar Noir that I found most enlightening. Guato: Right on. Look at 16 year old Laura's 5 star review, wherein she states--quite rightly--that DK is superior to Tommy or Calvin. Absolutely true, but it's like my saying that Acqua di Watermelon (Gio) is superior to Le Male or Joop. Guido: you forgot a polyester suit and greeting other men with a backslap followed by a "And how are you my friend? " Preferably in a foreign accent. To everyone else who loves this 'timeless classic' don't forget Chaps, Brut and Aramis.

  • SPACE PILGRIM08/01/2005

Although extremely cheaply-priced and found in any drugstore out there, still great among the classics.

  • SAMANTHA07/30/2005

This cologne smells like a rugged, sexy rock star to me. Very bold and manly. Yum!!

  • CRYSTAL07/26/2005

I think this cologne is wonderful! I also think that if you stop wearing a cologne because it was a style thing, YOU ARE RIDICULOUS. WEAR WHAT YOU LIKE!!! Who Cares if its out of style. BE ORIGINAL!!!!

  • ALI NAJIM07/14/2005

I ordered this perfume from another country cuz I live in Iraq, it's such a great perfume that made my gf jump in me hugging ! It does make them closer !!! AWESOME

  • RN07/12/2005

This stuff is sold everywhere, and it's always at a pretty low price compared to other colognes. As for the smell, it's not any different than most of the cheap sprays that you find in a supermarket. It really smells like an aftershave by Gillette or Aqua Velva, and has this really boring smell, that you can get used to really fast.

  • DAWN07/05/2005

Guys, I have to tell you Drakkar smells wonderful. When I walk by a man who has this on it really gets to me.

  • ED06/26/2005

I couldn't agree more with Devin. Drakkar is a classic all around fragrance that will be used long after the sweet effeminate fragrances of the last fifteen years are forgotten.

  • GUATO06/25/2005

As an 18 year old, most girls at my age absolutely love this leathery and masculine scent. Most people lament the overuse of this EDT in the 1980s can induce flashbacks of Duran Duran concerts and Pontiac Firebirds. However, in younger crowds this fragrance is hardly used and elicts the same reactions to those who are unfamiliar with Drakkar, just as it did before it was overused 20 years ago. Trust me, my generation will come to hate Acqua Di Gio and Cool Water as the past generation grew tired of Drakkar Noir.

  • LAWRENCE06/23/2005

... unforntunatly the club is LA Fitness. Seriously, the gym rats all seem to wear this stuff. I does bring back memories though. Memories of riding my bike to Thrifty's drug store to buy my dad a father's day present. Let's see: should I get Old Spice, English Leather, good-old Brut, or ... Drakkar Noir!

  • ROCC04/24/2005

I have tried many colognes over the past 25 years wearing Drakkar. None of them are better! It is a captivating fragrance, that blends well with my chemistry.

  • SMELL03/21/2005

Some of the old early 80s fragrances like Santos De Cartier, Drakkar Noir and Kouros (original), all have that dated synthetic smell. I'm not knocking it...if you like it then by all means get it and wear it proudly. It ain't for me though. I'll stick to Body Kouros and Cristobal.

  • MJ02/02/2005

Dissing a classic like Drakkar and you recommend Givenchy??? That smells like horse piss mixed with bug spray. It is worse than repugnant. Get a real man who wears Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. Awesome timeless scent.

  • DEVIN02/01/2005

This "dated" stuff is really a bunch of nonsense. Something smells appealing, or it does not. It's that simple. People have been eating T-bone steaks for God knows how long and when I order one at a restaurant I don't say it tastes dated. It tastes great, and Drakkar smells great irrespective of time. Poor analogy I admit, but I make my point. Roses have been considered pleasant to smell since time immemorial. They're not dated. Come on folks, wake up. Fads exist for one reast; money. New fragrances emerge constatly so that the almighty dollar will be catered to. Class, and refined products are timeless. Manure smelled offensive in 1000 B.C., and it still smells offensive today. There are universal constants, and fine fragrance falls under this realm.

  • ROB H.01/31/2005

Even after more than 20 years, this still stands up against the fragrances of today and the women never get tired of it. This semi-spicy/woody wonder should be in any cologne collector's arsenal and won't break your bank. Always a classic.

  • TERESA01/19/2005

Drakkar is my alltime fav.Not too strong not too light.. but just right.it can never be old

  • LAURA01/19/2005

Whoever says its outdated does not know anything.. Drakkar Noir is an awesome smell!!!! and Iam 16 this is much better than tommy or calvin

  • KIM11/27/2004

Oh the things Drakkar does to me! Out-dated or not, I love this stuff... I've spent six times as much on stuff for my SO but nothing works like Drakkar. :)

  • VAL11/15/2004

I'm 19 years old and I don't think I would like this scent on a guy my age. However, my boyfriend is alot older than I am and I think it suits him perfectly. I guess it's one of those scents that won't smell good on just anyone. It's not just about how good a certain scent is, but it's also about how well it translates to you as a person. One cologne can smell two different ways on two different people. For my boyfriend, this is the scent that works for him and I love it. I definitely agree with the other women who have said that this is a very sexy scent on a man.

  • SV11/04/2004

I hear you folks saying that this is a old cologne.. but seriously.. do u think there are others can replace this typical masculine scent. I have tried minotaure by givenchy as the other person suggested..thats the problem with the new colognes...its almost like womens perfumes with a added musk/tobacco to make it a bit manly. dolce de gabana is a close match.. i am all ears if you have alternate suggestions.

  • JOE10/25/2004

I agree with TAJ, this stuff is truly timeless. It's an all around great masculine fragrance, a true classic!!!

  • TAJ09/22/2004

Why do people always gripe about a cologne being old? Fragrances are timeless. If you have never smelled it, it is new to you.Drakkar is the first cologne I wore as a teen.I still have a bottle in my collection.I still get the same results.Everyone loves it.

  • BINNY09/13/2004

Some women still find this sexy, but EVERYONE ELSE is going to laugh at you if you wear it! It is the olfactory equivalent to wearing stonewashed Lee jeans. If you ate the 1980's and broke wind, it would smell like DRAKKAR.

  • JOHN09/12/2004

Drakkar is a very recognizable cologne. As far as outdated, I was born in the early 80's so I wouldn't know. As far as the scent itself, I love it, and can't get enough. Definitly one of my favorites. But careful, as it is an older cologne ;)

  • JODIE09/09/2004

Whoever likes this scent has seriously been trapped in a time warp of transams, feathered bangs, and Z Cavarri's. This stuff is so freaking outdated I can't believe it's still on the market. What is even more baffling is that people still buy it!! Time to move on to more sophisticated, classy fragrances such as Romance, Kenneth Cole, and Givenchy.

  • RICHARD J09/03/2004

well besides brut, this is probably the only old scent you should buy and i'm in my early 20's and still wear it. Drakkar is one of those old scents that don't stink, IT has a nice refreshing scent(no it doesn't smell like leather) and this scent simply remains a classic.

  • KERRI08/30/2004

I absolutely love Drakkar on my husband, every time he wears it, it reminds me of when we first met and it drives me wild. It is so sexy.

  • SV08/26/2004

I have worn this for so many years.. i am desparate to try something else for a change.. but have failed to like anything else. my wife also hated everything else i have tried..acqua di gio, gentleman, dulce de gabana (only thing decent next to drakkar), and America (surprisingly, this one my wife liked on me.. but too many people in my family wear it)

  • R.J.08/26/2004

FELLAS: WHEN YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR LADY DOWN MEMORY LANE TO REMEMBER NOTHING BUT THE GOOD TIMES, WEAR DRAKKAR TO REKINDLE THE OLD FLAME OF PLEASURE. SHE'LL THAK YOU FOR IT.

  • ED06/30/2004

The after shave balm was changed a couple of years ago, and the result is not good. The great woodsy scent has been replaced by a formula that includes too much leather- it's just too bitter now. Can the original balm still be found, and if so, where?

  • ROBERTO06/09/2004

It's not a bad smelling cologne its just not for my age, my dad wears it and i guess it suits him ok.

  • DREW05/31/2004

I have been wearing Drakkar Noir for years because it is the one true men's fragrance that my wife rates #1 hands down. And when she's happy I'm happy!

  • ABBY02/24/2004

Drakkar Noir - reminds me of a high school boyfriend, teen night at the local club, guidos, homies, the mall, house parties, a few long haired guitar players, and all things late 80's. Smelling it takes me back to that time in my life when things were a little easier & more carefree, my mid to late teenage years. That being said, that's exactly where this scent should stay. Back in the 80's. Like so many of those 80's scents, like Obsession, the triangle Liz Claiborn, Beneton Colors, etc., Drakkar, IMHO, just doesn't transcend out of the decade.

  • JEFF01/21/2004

I bought this cologne in 1982 and at the time there was nothing out that smelled like it. Talk about getting a reaction when you wore it.........Oh, baby. I still put this classic scent up against 95 % of the stuff being produced today. This cologne has become to the current generation what Old Spice and English Leather were to mine. I think every person born after 1982 had a male relative that wore Drakkar, so the younger group today use anything else not to smell like dad. Pity. Smelled great then........Smells great now. I just pray I am aging as gracefully as this timeless work.

  • BRANDEN_COLOGNE_USER01/15/2004

Women love this one. It's both fresh and sensual. Nice because it lasts a long time. It's also very versatile...good for office, evening, and casual wear. A must have for any good cologne collector looking for a all time great fragrance.

  • W.B.12/31/2003

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE SCENTS THAT NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE. TO ME, IT'S A C LASSIC THAT I CAN USE ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ON ANY OCCASION. A KEEPER FOR SURE.

  • JONATHAN TAYLOR11/30/2003

this really works on the ladies

  • BRAD11/28/2003

Drakkar is a classic. I don't understand why some people rate it as being out of date, or outdated. There is never such a thing as outdated for a classice fragrance such as Drakkar. A classic will always remain as a classic. This one will always be in the top ten of all fragrances.

  • MRLONGROVE11/06/2003

Drakkar Noir isn't a bad scent. As already mentioned a little goes a long way. Still I wouldn't wear it now simply because it smells dated. Few scents are timeless and Drakkar Noir isn't one of them. I'd only recommend it if you're on your way to an 80s Club Night.

  • FRED10/29/2003

Drakkar is a decent fragrance if well applied. Problem is, most guys who wear this stuff overdo it. Think "one spray".

  • KANKA10/01/2003

This is one of the worst smelling colognes ever. definitely an old mans colognes

  • PRICE08/11/2003

An absolute classic, perfect for the office, a big night out, or a quiet night in. So, why only 4 stars? The lemon top note does not mix well with my skin, giving me the scent of a sour lime. However, I have learned to defy the guidance of "fragrance snobs" everywhere and spray Drakkar onto my undershirt instead. After an hour, it dries down to a wonderful scent that is masculine and sexy, yet clean at the same time.

  • JEN07/15/2003

A lot of people have mentioned that Drakkar is out of style. Just because it was popular in the 80's doesn't mean it still doesn't smell GREAT! I like lots of men's fragrance, but none have the effect on me that Drakkar does! It's a classic scent that in my opinion will never be "out of style".

  • IAN06/28/2003

Drakkar cologne is a bit out of style but still smells good. I use Drakkar, but my friends don't. The cologne is unique in that it doen't smell like any other cologne, but it is common because so many people buy it. A lot of people are tired of Drakkar because in the past that was what a large percentage of the crowd was wearing.

  • LYNN06/18/2003

when I had no boyfriend, I purchase this perfume and smell it. It drive me wild.

  • DJPETERDEE05/17/2003

ONE OF MY FAVORITES. I THINK DRAKKAR IS GOOD AT ANYTIME FOR ANY OCCASION, OFFICE OR EVENING. I'VE RECEIVED NOTHING BUT POSITIVE COMPLIMENTS. THE GIRLS AT WORK KEEP ASKING "WHAT IS THAT? IT SMELLS WONDERFUL!" A TRUE CLASSIC.

  • ANNE AND THE FAMILY04/11/2003

Six stars not five stars - best we have ever had. thanks.

  • ARNOLD R.02/25/2003

Okay, not really. But it does put one strongly in mind of the 80's. (Not that that's a bad thing, per se.) I had a bottle of this around my freshman year in highschool, and man... I thought this stuff was the sheeeit. But now... I don't know. It's not bad, but it's not fantastic either. Looking back from today's vantage point, I have to say there were better fragrances at the time, and there are better fragrances out there still. But I'm 32. I bet if I was still high-school age or early 20's maybe, I'd still be giving this a go. So if you're around that age, give Drakkar Noir a try. Get a sample vial if you can, or go for the mini bottle to see if you like it. You just might find it excellent!

  • TRAV01/31/2003

Although somewhat dated, this cologne proves that good taste is timeless. This is perhaps the most masculine smelling cologne. Exceptionally bold and dramatic. I like the patchouli note and the berry-like top notes very much. It's too bad this has received so much overpublicity. It may be the most hackneyed, "run-of-the-mill" cologne on the market, i.e., much too commonplace. Such a shame.

  • CHRIS01/22/2003

Ions ago?? Greatness is timeless, too bad spelling isn't. (Must've went out w/ the 80's.

  • DAN01/19/2003

If you still dress like you from the 80's, it's perfect. This stuff went out ions ago.

  • TACHYON STALLION01/10/2003

This smells like Irish Spring soap, but hey, if the women like it.....

  • FAISAL01/01/2003

First time I've used Drakkar Noir was way back in '88. I really love the smell after noticing a colleague used. I've had a few perfumes now, but my all time favourite is still Drakkar Noir.

  • KENNETH12/16/2002

Thats what you are saying when you put Drakkar on. The lady's just seem to love this scent. A must have!

  • LIAM12/08/2002

Old school , i hate leather smells too

  • MICHELLE 11/30/2002

    I love it!!!

  • GUIDO10/03/2002

some gold chains, hair on my chest and a moustache!

  • TIM09/01/2002

I have tried several different colognes and this by FAR is the best. Anyone that thinks this stinks, why don't you go try Tommy. I think bug-spray or (OFF) smells better. If you like Notica, this is about the same, but has a more musk smell. i only wish they had a bath/shower set.

  • KONSTANTINOS08/31/2002

I AM LOOKING FOR DRAKAR AFTER SHAVE BALM BUT CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE. PLEASE DO SOMETHING

  • TAPDANCER7808/21/2002

My ex-boyfriend wore this cologne and it was my favorite. I even bought a bottle of my own. It's the only good thing that came from knowing him. LOL.

  • THE BIG R07/02/2002

This is a "signature" fragrance, there's no doubt....but the better ones are....once again, don't take a bath in this stuff and you'll enjoy wearing it!

  • KEVIN H.06/20/2002

Hey everyone, I was looking to use something different when I came accross Drakker Noir. I was scaptical about it and I did some research. That's when I started to read the comments on this cologne. Out of all the comments only 3 or 4 were really negative, others were really encouraging. I think I will go buy the cologne tomorrow and post my comment about what I think. Thanks to every one for posting their comments. - Kevin

  • CAROLINA05/06/2002

I can smell this on a guy and it can change everything!!!!

  • TMBE IN TEXAS05/01/2002

I think Drakkar is the best scent for a man. Or maybe a should say on a man, for a woman! It simply oozes sexiness. I seriously believe there should be a warning on the bottle and it should read WARNING: THIS FRAGRANCE HAS A TENDENCY OF DRIVING WOMEN WILD. ANY MAN WHO HAS NO INTEREST IN BEING RAVISHED BY THE OPPOSITE SEX SHOULD, NOT USE OR DISCONTINUE USE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Of course, that is just my opinion;-)

  • KAYA04/27/2002

Strong. Overwhelming. Repugnant. Smells like shit on crack!

  • TUM03/23/2002

    Absolute classic

  • JOHN03/20/2002

A must. I have gone through many different colognes, and this is the best so far. It lasts, and gets the job done. Recommended.

  • PHILLIP02/27/2002

But that message post had me out of my chair. Favorite cologne.

  • KATHLEEN ANN02/23/2002

Absolute Favorite for Men's colonge. Wonderful "manly" smell...Definatley can do things to a Woman...

  • PATRICK LOGGINS02/07/2002

Drakkar Noir is the best deoderant I Have ever used.

  • RAY01/22/2002

I absolutely love Drakkar Noir. I have been wearing it for about two years now. I get compliments from everyone. Even the young lady who was working in Carl's Jr. the other day said, and I quote "Man, you smell good!" Anyway I have also used the deodorant. I don't like the deodorant too much. It's not strong enough for me. The scent wears off rather quickly. I have used both the "white powder" and "clear" deodorants. Neither work very well.

  • ALLEGROCONBRIO6912/26/2001

Drakkar Noir is one of the finest men's fragrances I've ever used. It's highly masculine, never too musky or sweet. It's so easy on the nose. It's pleasant, seductive, and mysterious at the same time. It's so hard to find a fragrance without some weakness. This is a "perfect" man's cologne, if there ever was one. How did you do it, Guy Laroche? This would definitely be my signature scent if it wasn't so ubiquitous in so many different stores. What's next? Is this fragrance going to be available at Seven-Eleven, too? It's a shame.

  • BMW1244ATAOLDOTCOM12/11/2001

Drakkar is a sure way to get complements from the ladies on every date you wear it. sucsess stories for each time !!

  • GEORGI11/20/2001

Remember, less is more. Not too spicy..but suave, yes, tha's it. Sophisticated and spontaneous. Definately not for boys!

  • TROY REYNOLDS11/02/2001

    Do you sell them

  • CHRISTY10/28/2001

When my husband wears it, it drives me wild.

  • SUSAN10/18/2001

My husband had smelled Drakkar but before I came into his life he never really could afford to buy it because at the time it was something like $50 per bottle. But since we live in Los Angeles, we go to the duty free shops down on 5th and Los Angeles Streets. There you can find Drakkar for as little as $30 for the large bottle. I buy it for my husband now every Christmas and he loves the stuff. He'll only wear that and one other cologne. I'll have to look for that deoderant...haven't ever seen that but I'll be sure to check next time I go.

  • AGREES WITH KIM10/13/2001

kim is right. this fragrance is utterly repulsive. i once had the misfortune of smelling deer urine (at a hunting supply store), and it's the only thing that comes close. for the love of all that is decent and pure, avoid drakkar noir.

  • M SMITH10/05/2001

I've been using Drakkar since the late 70's when Guy LaRoche introduced it and it has never failed me as the ultimate "Booty Call".

  • ANGEL06/05/2001

Drakkar, IS the most romantic smelling fragrance, its so soothing, and just lites my fire!!!Im sorry Kim had a problem with it, Maybe her man's chemistry just didnt mix well, BUT I know my Man's chemistry does go good with it, and it seems that most men do,BUT I still need to get some of the deordant, there is nothing like snuggling up to your mans arm pit, when he is holding you and having the romantic warm fragance there, Angel

  • RODMAN03/22/2001

After many years of trying various fragrances (Aramis, Pierre Cardin, even Old Spice etc.), Drakkar finally comes to the rescue. Kim, how can you say this is repulsive? I get compliments every time I use it. You must like one of the others I've tried, like 'Wings'(ugh). Gentlemen, if you haven't tried Drakkar, do so immediately. You won't regret it.

  • TERRYL03/10/2001

One of my most favorite smells!!!!

  • KIM02/19/2001

Repulsive. I can't stand this cologne.

  • WALTER01/28/2001

what ever happened to drakar noir aftershave balm? I cant seem to find it in any brick and morter retail outlets.
