This hard to find perfume is still one of my favorites. Has a sweet musky scent that lingers long after you can detect it on yourself, as I've gotten lots of compliments way after I thought it was gone.

This has been my favorite/go-to scent for many years. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly harder to find! Just the right combination...not too heavy but just enough, you forget you even have it on. I just got a complement last Friday from someone when I was wearing it. Very classy scent!

Hi Judi - I agree with you on the floral thing - it takes a *very* special floral for me to enjoy (Stella is the only floral in my collection at the moment). Sometimes I like smelling them for a moment on other women, but I wouldn't enjoy them on myself all day, espcially a watery one like this one. Has a strange smell, antiseptic.

I smelled this once, many years ago, so it's not fresh in my mind, but it was pleasant. I don't know why I don't like a flowery scent. Most women do, but I just can't relate to smelling like a flower. I remember this wasn't too bad considering it was a floral. If I remember correctly, it didn't have that straight on flower smell, it had some woodiness to it, to balance it out.

I also love the Eau Florale, I don't know why it's harder to find though... Eau Florale has the same shell-shaped bottle. I absolutely love it! Both of them have that nice, not too heavy scent. You want to buy a flowery fragrance - a flowery one, not the ones You usually see in the adds. They are suppost to belong to a Flowery group and they smell like roses with apples, candies, violets and strawberries all mixed together... Now Lacroix DOES make it flowery FLOWERY no too sweet. It just smells like a unique, spring garden. I don't usually like flowery perfumes... Lacroix is the only exception for that. Because when I want to smell like flowers, I don't need those candy notes. So I'll say it again, great, great, great!

As far as I can remember sometime back, they had the parfum extrait in a green bottle. I don't think I remember a blue bottle. I am not so sure was it, Lacroix or the Eau Florale?

hello guys!, i'm looking for a "florale" etc... something, from Christian Lacroix but in a blue bottle(same bottle design)...do you know about it?

A new fragrance from Christian Lacroix has just appeared in the stores, called "Tumulte". It is a lovely rich floral oriental and comes beautifully packaged in an oriental design bottle with red floral etching and matching red & gold floral box.

This one makes me think of an old lady's perfume, very strong and it kinda gives you nausea, a real waste of my money !!

I bought this one but ended up donating it. I just didn't think it did much for me. Very soft, and not too distinctive. It just sort of was nothing on me, like the smell of soap or moisturizer. Also hated the dumb bottle which took up a lot of room in my perfume stash.

Wanted to like this one...but didn't work on me. The dry down of the ambery note did not work with my chemistry. Too bad.

I love this fragrance,I bought it because of the pretty shell bottle in a minature and I just love the fragrance,it is light and fresh,but it lasts all day ,I have trouble with perfumes staying with me and this one does,at first it reminded me a little bit of poison,but a very light version.

I love this romantic floral scent. It's the best one I've ever found.

I bought this for the name and the bottle I collect unusal perfume bottles....What a surprise I got from the fragrance, it just suited me down to the ground. Ever so lite and not too sweet, I do not like people telling me what perfume I am wearing I like to be mysterious..everybody who hugs me they all have wonderful comments to say about this scent.

This one is a very unique fragrance also, as is C'est la Vie. Looking for something different that not everyone in town is wearing, try this. It is a very nice, clean scent, not too sweet, not too powdery, not too anything, just right! I like it very much!

The scent is lovely and light, and the hand-blown seashell bottle simply exquisite. I love the red and white box, too.

Hm...It's a unique smell, can be good though, but smells a bit like root beer for me...

Bought a mini of this (the seashell), and found it to be a refreshing change

THIS FRAGRANCE ALWAYS DEMANDS A NAME WHEN I WEAR IT. IT IS LIGHT, CLEAN AND ELEGANT.

This purfume is great. I get lot's of complimetns when wearing it. If anyone knows where to get a mini bottle of this please let me know. I'm having a hard time finding it and would like to have one for my purse.

anyone remember a perfume by lacroix in a red round bottle?

I've had this fragrance for almost 2 years now, and it's my favorite. I love how the scent seems to change as you wear it throughout the day. I get a lot of compliments on it.

This is not a nice fragrance, It smells like cough syrup even hours after you put it on. Make sure you smell this one before you buy it.

Very rich floral with kind of strange green note...If you feel it's good for you, you are lucky, because it's unique, and there are not many people wearing it. Unfortunatelly it's not for me...

Try Nordstrom for the lotion or shower gel.

This is sensual. I have been looking for the lotion.

Elizabeth Arden's 'Blue Grass'; drydown smelled similar to medicated soap for acne(Cuticura).

Sorry you didn't like the fragrance, Vicki. You're right about the bottle, it is AWESOME! Just got my order, and I can't believe it cost about half of what I paid at Sak's for the same frangrance. Hope you find something that you love!

hey gals- i love fragrances.. wearing them, and smelling them on others.. i this is one is AWESOME, and three others that i love on women that i've taken note of: Angel by Mugler, Rykiel Rose by Sonia Rykiel, and the new one (forgot the name! :( by Balenciaga... give 'em a whiff and see what you think!

Vicki, evidently this is not "your" fragrance. You need to look for something you like that works with your chemistry. Please don't put this fragrance down just because you don't like it. Whenever I wear Christian Lacroix, I ALWAYS get compliments. It's a lovely fragrance, so don't misinform people who haven't tried it!!

Have no doubt about this one, everbody will enjoy being next to you when you have this on. Also the bottle looks great on your vanity!!

It smells like toothpaste at first, then it dries down smelling like (Italian?) spices. Sounds weird, but it's a very interesting fragrance.

so feminine -- finally, a sweet, lingering fragrance with none of the heavy vanilla undertones that are so common these days. topnotes are pure floral, but the drydown is like sweet incense. Yummy without smelling edible!

Pretty fragrance....Great bottle!!!
