I bought the original Prada in a gift set when it first came out. I liked the original but didn't "love" it enough to wear the spray after I ran out of the body cream. I went back to the department stores, several actually, to get another jar of the body cream and no one carried it and the first "new" Prada that was out at that time was Prada Tendre, which had taken over all the major department store shelves. So, I purchased a bottle of Prada Tendre lotion. I occasionally would wear the Prada Tendre lotion with a spray of original Prada perfume. The smell of the "tendre" seemed to stick with me and after the bottle of lotion was finished, I longed for the smell of Prada Tendre again. When I went back to purchase it, again, Prada Tendre had been snatched off the shelves and replaced by Prada Iris, which is way too powdery for me. So, it has taken me years to muster up the courage to shop the internet and buy more Tendre. I have it on today. It is a very nice classy scent that lasts but is not overpowering. The best thing about it for me is that it has a touch of sweetness but it is not VANILLA, which seems to be the main ingredient in most fragrances today...yuck. If you like the classic standards like Spellbound, Paloma Picasso, Bvlgari Rose, Coco Chanel, First, Caleche you will love Prada Tendre.
Yes I love this perfume. I have a bottle d'Iris but prefer this fragrance. It is classy, sophisticated, yet feminine. I would recommend it to anyone.
Got it as a gift and love it! Easier to wear than Prada.It is lighter, more floral, but it still retains a lot of the same essence as the original.
I like it. It is fresher and sharper than Prada(which I also like). Not so much Patchouli. Nice for daytime. I like the sort of "sharpness" of the benzoin.
I really like this but this does not smell like the original Prada. It acutally smells like CoCo Mademoiselle's kid sister. It's not as overpowering as Prada, but still powerful nonetheless.
this is my current favorite warm woodsy scent. i feel wonderful everytime i put it on. it is soft and slightly powdery, with a wonderful woodsy dry down.
Tendre is a softer version of the original, more subtle. I personally prefer the original (I like powerful fragrances), but Tendre might do the trick for those who find the original too much.
i bought this in the autumn, and i love it. it's pretty much my hg fragrance right now. it is a woodsy, slightly powdery, warm scent. not over-powering, but noticeable. lovely classic scent that i see wearing for a long time. i think of this as the perfect autumn scent.
