This was too powdery on me. I love the anise and was wondering if anyone knows of other perfumes with the anise smell

It smells so good! Like the real roses, vanilla and anise are alive on skin. The notes are so fresh!

My mother has worn Este Lauder Youth Dew, forever and every time i smell it, I instantly have her in my mind. With that in mind, I wanted to find a signature scent of my own. I never cared for the deep musk of Youth Dew or any deeper musky scent. I also dispise candy smells, or fresh citruses or soap type scents. But I adore florals, and the ones that I have loved the most include anais anais, beautiful, and VS's Dream Angels collection. so when i walked into the department store in town i asked the clerk to find me a sweet floral with a deeper sexier note to it and she first picked up the sister scent Very Irresistible. It was too light and airy for my taste. But then she told me to try the sensual version and the minute it touched my skin I fell head over heels in love with it. On my skin it seems to find heavily in the star anais notes and the patchulli just seems to burn with a spicy lovely heat. And the rose notes dance around them both to create this absolutly delicious mixture that I cant get enough of. I took home as many samples as i could because it is a bit pricey and i will only buy the Eau de Parfume which i couldnt afford at the time. This scent seems to describe who I am personally...fun, flirty, mysterious, deep, and the ending notes remind me of the memories I leave people with. It does not last as long as I like, but I found that if you do a first application then wait 30 minutes and reapply then you can get a full eight hours of fragrance out of it which is perfect for an evening out. I am glad to say that i have found my new signature scent and hope to call it so for years to come...and given a few years the price should come down to a more reasonable rate. All-in-all...this is an incredibly beautiful, fun, sweet and sexy scent that attracts men like the sports bar....and still has a classy elegance to it...you must try and buy this fragrance!

I ordered this because I love roses and vanilla. It sits very close to my skin and is lighter than I expected. The staying power on my dry skin is about 4 hours before requiring reapplication. It is light and non-offensive enough to work in an office while being pretty and sweet enough to move from work into a casual evening out. To my nose, this seems more a warm weather fragrance although the florals in it have given me a lift on this northern New England day when it is 12 degrees outside and there are 2 feet of snow on the ground. VIS is not ground-breaking, edgy or a big attention grabber IMO, but will work well on those days when I feel flirty and fun.

i wasn't so impressed with this fragrance when i tested it. VIS smells good, but i wasn't blown away. i thought it smelled a bit boring and one dimensional on my skin. quite pleasant, but not something i would purchase. more power to you if you love VIS, this is just one gal's opinion.

The top notes are delicious, skating on the edge but not being sweet, just enticing. Haunting. Strong at first spray, middle notes - I can't stop sniffing my wrist! Although, I think you may only need a small amount as it is a powerful fragrance, nearly headache inducing for me so next time I will use less. Gorgeous scent.

Sexy ... long-lasting ... it's the patchouli that sets it apart from sister Very Irresistible ... this is better!

It seemed citrus but it is floral. It just has so much juice to it. I keep asking wife to wear it. It is very juicy from bottle to first application. Then it transforms to a beautiful long lasting scent. And the final stages it just seems delicious.

It follows title very well. I love the scent. I was with my wife when she bought. I love it on her. Try scent on skin and not from bottle. It is mostly rose extract, but citrus in scent. Very sexy. Very irresistable. :)

Because when I wear it,the reactions I get range from the total strangers(men) who start following me around,asking if they can come closer to SMELL me better, to the bold ones who ask me out and then fall apart when I tell them I'm married,finally to the women who somehow get really hostile when they detect it on me. I seem to get that reaction quite a lot. For those reasons my husband has asked me to wear it only when I'm with him,to diffuse many potentially unpleasant situations...Of course, I don't always keep my promises, and that,of course,is the fun part.

It' very nice to have a modern rose scent ! I'm sure it will be a classic perfume in the future. And of course I prefer edp than edt.

This fragnance is so great! I´ve spent in the perfume shop a lot of time, tested a lot of fragnances, but the only one was like: OMG!!! Of course, it was Very Irresistible Sensual :)

I find this frangrance beautiful but unusual at the same time. I got a positive comment the first time I wore it from my stepmother. She said it smells lovely and wanted to know what it was. As I purchase 2 bottles in a set I gave her one. It lasts for a very long time and people do notice it on you. However it's one of those fragrances that would drive me mad if I had to wear it every day. It would be like wearing a sexy black dress all week long. This perfume smells so exotic and sensual that I like to save it for nights out, special occasions or when I am in a flirtatious mood.

I have a sample of this scent........the best scent ever ! next time i go shopping i will get it and i don't care how much it costs , it's worth the price.

This is the only fragrance (Parfum) that I will purchase this year. To have men complement me on this fragrance and follow me everywhere, makes me Sexy and Delicious!! You have to buy it!! Well worth the price!!

I have people asking what I am wearing because they love it (men, too!). In Colorado the winters can be long so I didn't want something dark, heavy or overpowering. The blend of berries, florals and vanilla work very well together. It is soft, sensual, not overpowering and has great staying power. It does smell similar to another perfume that I can't put my finger on but I do like it! The only way to tell if it will work is by testing it on yourself and not on a card. I've found those paper cards just don't have the same chemistry my body does. Maybe if I was a tree...

I cannot tell you how many people stop and ask what I am wearing- I'd describe it as fresh, delicious enought too eat and def irresistible-I own several perfumes but I would never tire of this- it's truly delicious- fun to wear on that awesome hair day, blue jeans and crisp, white shirt- yet something you can wear with that lil black dress in the evening- try it you wont regret.

more full on than the original,lovely for a romantic evening. a sexy twit and play on the original nice one givenchy
