I agree with Janet Armell, an excellent perfume, suitable for everyday wear as it is not too heavy and it has a pleasing fragrance that should please most wearers.

Animale ticks all my boxes. Not too heavy, a good all rounder suitable for all occasions and can be replenished frequently withour be over powering

Hello ladies. I love Animale for men and think it is one of the best under-rated fragrances for men. I knew that the success of the womens version led to a male version being created. To make this story shorter, I smelled this wonderful scent of a co-worker in our break room. After inquiring, I was pleasantly surprised when she told me she was wearing Animale perfume. Ive got to give props to Animale Parfums. They have made a great female and male fragrance. Anyway, several weeks later, I smell a scent that I must know its name. I ask the lady and she says, "Animale, remember I told you a few weeks ago?" Instantly, I remembered. It kinda humored me, having asked this lady the same question twice. A least I know it wasnt a fluke. The same fragrance had attracted me again. I wont forget that lady again or Animale for that matter. This frgrance seems to linger with a strong presence. I will definitely have to purchase this for a special lady in my life. Then I can spray a bit on myself now and again.

I have worn this scent over the years. I get the same results... It is a very sensuous fragrance. I like it on men, also. When I wear animale, I get results!

I've worn Animale on and off over the years -- primarily in the summer as it is a fragrance that blooms on warm, sunkist, moist skin. It's very strong and sexy and is not for the shy and retiring woman. If you want attention, you'll want to try this. People can detect the fragrance before you enter a room. But I don't like it during the cool weather. As others have remarked, it tends toward a musty, dry scent. I truly believe that the sun and heat are a catalyst for the fragrance, so I would suggest it as a warm-weather choice.

Tried this on a whim because of the description, plus I love Animale Animale so I figured this one would be a winner. Not so. I love the top notes, but after a few minutes this turns really yucky on me. The woody, mossy notes are so predominant that the initial impression is a distant memory. Reminds me of a man's fragrance. Off to Goodwill it goes!

i've worn it for years. The kids think it's the only fragrance that smells like "mom" but my husband doesn't think it smells maternal at all-he thinks it smells sexy--I've had men follow me to find out what it is so they can buy it for their so's .

i wore iit got bored. now extinct from distinct. boo. it grew to musty. would not buy it again.

my scent woody, luv the patchouly. pleasant. nice. animal is dangerous watch out for romance. very nice.

I have looked many years for this product since purchasing it when it first came out. I finally found it after all these years. Would love to find lotion, creme or body gel.

This is quite a unique scent,i don't really know why it's receiving few ratings. Surely,it stands out from among the many fragrances that are all the rage these days.

I was at a friend's home during a wake for his grandmother and he was really depressed. While we sat outside,he took a whiff & began crying,because that was the exact scent his grandmother used to wear. I felt bad but he assured me that i gave him something to remember her by. Animale is indeed a nice scent,so clean & woody.

It's the first time I'm trying this one. It's very warm,smells like incense burning at Christmas. It also takes me back to the old days when mom was a working woman,and she'd leave a trail when she's on her way out.
