Really sweet and similar to JPG's other scents in the sense that it is a bold scent. Very very unique smell that i cannot get enough of! Definately in my top 3!! Excellent!

  • LINNEA06/10/2008

When this dries down on my boyfriend's skin, it smells soooooo similar to "The Dreamer" by the Versace. It is a romantic masculine floral. Very unique and very intriguing. Gorgeous! If you love "The Dreamer," you will love this. And if you love this, you will love "The Dreamer."

I sampled this revolutionary scent a week ago and it is still on my jacket! I love it. The neroli is surprising and comforting. There are many reminders of Le Male, other than the powerful middle note of orange blossom. Scent is subjective, this one to me is dreamy...

  • RICHARD03/22/2008

I like this better than "Le Male". This mixture is built around neroli that works somehow. Never before have I wore something so floral for men. Its not exactly feminine, yet will catch you off guard. It is ideal for the beach and leave a freshly showered feel all day. Try it first, guys, this is not for everyone.

When in "Fluer Du Male Mode" a scent Transforms me to : More Confidence,sexy,smart.. no words can describes my feeling.. a scent make my soul complete.. rapture tastes so sweet...

  • P12/13/2007

A very powdery, sweet, floral scent. It is long-lasting and addictive. But don't expect to attract women with this one. My gf at the time I sampled this said I smelled like an old lady and forbid me from wearing it again.

  • PIERRE12/10/2007

love this, its very fresh.. a not overly femininine in my opinion..just smells like frsh cut flowers.

  • JUDE C11/13/2007

This stuff is very very high quality. It is just that it is a little too feminine for me. It has a nice flowery orange scent, that has great lasting power. Just a little too girl. If you want a big time scent, a big time french scent that has power to it - get Caron's L'anarchiste, now that is a french powerhouse cologne for men.

Love this fragrance! It smells unique and the girls like it too. It´s not too fresh and not too warm and heavy, so it´s a nice fragrance to wear all year round:D

  • ALEX10/09/2007

Dare I say it -- but I like florals in men's scents. Orange blossom is a haunting and alluring scent. Maybe it's my Florida roots. I wish there were a bit more of the neroli in the finish and less of the powdery effect. But I like this scent.

Having been a big fan of JPG fragrances in the past, I was very excited when I found out a new mens perfume was coming out. I tried this on at Bloomingdales with high expectations. I was very disappointed. During the entire phase of the scent, all I could smell was the orange fragrance mixed with what smelled like rotting flowers. Very disappointed in this one!

  • ROBERT HARRISON07/22/2007

This is purely for all the ladies and the turd burglars out there. Very feminine and not at all for men.

  • BARBARA W07/17/2007

I think it's interesting that some men think this is masculine and others don't. I'm usually pretty open about gender bending in fragrances (if you like it, who cares, right?), but my first reaction when I smelled this was - Wow, this is feminine! I'm just not used to smelling so many florals in a men's cologne, I guess. I really liked it and would wear it myself, actually. But, for you men who like it and think it's masculine - rock on and enjoy it!

  • KMF07/11/2007

Tried giving this one a shot, but it's not gonna happen. I didn't smell anything overly feminine as much as I did a scent that wasn't appealing at all. I guess it didn't react well with my skin...

  • ALFIE07/03/2007

This fragrance smells like the combination of D' Orange Vert-Hermes with rotten flowers. The top note slightly is nice but the bottom note....Do not ever asked. That is why the title is Le cauchemar Fleur Du Male (The nightmare Flowers of Male). It's better you buy D'orange Vert much more worthed than this one just like comparing earth and sky. Three words for this fragrance: "Save ur money!!!!"

  • DENNIS07/01/2007

Unlike so many other colognes, Fleur Du Male lasts longer on body. Its distinct bitter orange scent soothes me. Love it.

  • CATHERINE06/28/2007

The ad should read 100% feminine. I know women who wear this and it smells wonderful on them. Can't imagine this selling very well to straight men. I'll probably purchase a bottle for myself soon.

  • DILLON06/21/2007

This cloying floral is lacking one key ingredient, and that is: MASCULINITY! Even the eunuch shaped bottle is trying to warn you, "Not For Straight Guys". Do youself a favor and save this perfume for the limp wristed crowd.

  • CHANDRASEKAR SUBRAMANIAN06/16/2007

This a wonderful cologne. Absolutely marvelous. It is like a spring version of Le Male but very pleasant and refreshing. Can be worn to formal work places without overpowering anyone. Smells like a walk in the lily valley during spring time. The orange blossom really does the trick. A man will feel very confident and relaxed while wearing this cologne.

  • ROB H.06/16/2007

Highly original, masculine, sensual, modern and long-lasting latest from Gaultier is not for all tastes but will definitely be a hit in due time. By all means nothing feminine at all about this one compared to the original Le Male to where a few have claimed it's for women.

  • WB06/11/2007

A VERY NICE, PLEASANT SCENT THAT SEEMS VERSATILE IN MY OPINION. IT KIND OF RESEMBLES GAULTIER2 ON THE DRYDOWN, WHICH IS BETTER FOR WOMEN THAN MEN. OTHERWISE, A GOOD CREATION BY JPG.

  • GERT JAN VAN WATERINK06/09/2007

I love it. Like someone said before, it's a very summery fragrance with notes of oranges and white lillies. Furthermore, the scent reminds me a lot of the 19th century fragrance 4711 by Muelhens, Cologne. Therefore it is romantic too. It's more or less the masculine version of it. Nevertheless.....I love it. Lot's of positive comments. Though the label doesn't say it is a unisex fragrance. And that it is.

  • BRENDEN06/05/2007

Neroli (orange blossom) is the dominant note in this fragrance, and it lasts. The dry down is somewhat powdery with soft spices blended in to round out the finish. My only issue with this scent is that it smelled more like a young woman than a young man.
