Decided to pick up a mini based on the majority of shining reviews and my goodness. It's a bold, masculine and sensual mystery which I can't believe was discontinued long ago. IMO this is THE BEST from the designer over the ever popular Cool Water.

  • UNBRIDLED_ID01/06/2008

Ok, love the Zino and with all buzz this one is getting I hope it is brought back. How often does a cologne "come back from the dead".

  • KMF08/19/2007

So here's the scoop on this one. It's been discontinued for a while, so in order to get some you really only have 2 options. The first option would be e-bay. If you choose to go this route, expect to pay a fortune (with no guarantees of it being legit). The next option would be to get your hands on a mini (conveniently sold here at PE). So that is what I did. The first thing I did when I got it was to open it and smell the bottle. The scent was all I had hoped it would be and more. However, when I applied it to my skin, the scent could not have been more different. It was way too concentrated and had almost a cough medicine quality to it. I kept wondering to myself, how could something that smelled so good from the bottle, smell so bad on the skin?? So after a while I decided to conduct a experiment. I decided to take one of my old Nautica samples (the kind with a spray) and empty its contents. I then gave it a thorough washing to make sure none of the Nautica smell remained. After that I dumped Some of the Relax into the Nautica sample bottle to see how it would work as a spray. Well I'm happy to report that the spray makes all the difference. So if you can your hands on a spray version of this, you are in for a very rare treat...

Where to find it??.............probably nowhere out there except online where what little remaining supply of the very last bottles ran from production might be at.

  • ANTONIO 09/26/2006

I want to buy Relax cologne, can anybody tell me where can I buy it

  • SYNERGY04/17/2006

Take a trip in a sea of lavender, leather, amber, yummy vanilla............oh my gosh, this is too much!!

  • KO03/30/2006

Lose yourself in a cloud of amber, vanillla and leather....ahhhhhh. Relax and Egoiste are the best men's colognes ever made!!!!

  • DUC02/21/2006

It's a shame it's been discontinued 'cause this was only one of two fragrances from the designer that I've ever worn. Zino was the other and anything from Davidoff is either too commonly worn or strictly for youngsters. Relax is a very bold, manly and mysterious cologne that smells unlike anything else out there.

  • N2DBLU12/26/2005

................when you know that this magical wonder of a scent has been discontinued. Why is it that some of the best sleeper colognes out there have to say bye bye when they are actually some of the most appreciated fragrances by die hard collectors?

  • A. BOREALIS12/05/2005

Better grab one of the last bottles of this magic potion 'cause it sure to disappear for good. Right next to Zino, it's the best from Davidoff I've smelled and overall one of my all time favorite colognes I've ever worn.

  • ERMAC11/21/2005

Haven't worn this one for about 6 years but I think I'm most definitely gonna grab another bottle just for the fact that it's discontinued and will be very difficult to find with what few bottles are left on any shelf out there. Not to mention that it's one of the most remarkable, masculine and mysterious fragrances ever created for a man.

  • JEFF11/11/2005

Why would they discontinue such a fabulous fragrance? Nothing like it out to substitute. Man, I hate it when something that I have used and take for granted is yanked from the shelves. What next? Pseudofed?

  • HAROLD11/03/2005

Big mistake to discontinue this fabulous and mysterious cologne...............now I'm sad!:-( The last bottles that were in production are very very hard to find these days so good luck if you do! Much better than Cool Water, Echo............even Zino!

  • ONG-BAK10/25/2005

.............because I found it! Unusual, mysterious, warm and seductive fragrance is to me, THE BEST from Davidoff and sad to say been discontinued. :(

  • JULIAN C. STRATUSON07/25/2005

Why oh why Davidoff discontinued this modern classic, I don't know why? So bold and masculine and so mysterious to everyone around me, men and women both.......... BUT I LIKE THAT!!

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE06/14/2005

Awesome babe bait that's not commonly worn like Cool Water. I am surprised that there's actually this many reviews for this rather unknown and hard to find fragrance.

  • ESSAM06/07/2005

Relax is a very nice smell , it is spicy mixed with amber , it is very special and very attractive

  • BERNARDO01/14/2005

Relax by Davidoff is a truly intoxicating scent. It is spicy, sweet and oh so smooth. The product itself is dark green. It is a phenomenon to behold. A transforming scent with mysterious power.

  • ROB H.01/02/2005

A definite break from the overly worn Cool Water and another great from its designer. I like it a little better than New West from Aramis in which some similar notes (bergamot, lavender, moss, geranium, patchouli, and bay leaf) give it a similar scent but definitely can be differentiated by someone who knows their fragrances.

  • BIGG ROBB08/02/2004

got introduced to it many years ago while in europe been looking for it every since this is much better than all the other davidoffs as far as im concerned

  • RAEF AL ATTAR07/14/2004

It strikes fiercest emotions and triggers overpowering, mystic dispositions. It's the most enamoring scent ever made. Really dwells on the dichotomy between body and soul.. They have to recanonize manufacturing this god of scent.

  • LORENZO CASANOVA04/21/2004

How does REALM and DREAMER hold up to these too. And, what other colognes deserve to be in the same class as these too.

  • CHRIS COLOGNE01/19/2004

One of the very best fragrance purchases I ever made. Every guy should buy this, that is if you can find it. It's an incredibly smooth and mellow fragrance. Believe me guys, this one is phenomenal. I put it right up there with my Gucci Envy. 10\10

  • COCONUTZ12/09/2003

I've worn this cologne for years ... in fact, it's the only cologne I own and it always gets great comments from folks. One of the best you can buy ...

  • DAVE11/04/2003

not very refreshing ... just strange. Doesn't smell like cologne ... too weird for me.

  • EH10/16/2003

i purchased this fragrance because of all the praises in the message board. When I tried it myself, it wasnt anything I expected to be. I personally wouldnt buy it again.

  • MASTERMACKER09/24/2003

The first day I wore this a women literally grabbed me by both arms and sniffed the length of my neck to find out what I was wearing. Need I say more? Also very calming and intoxicating experience for the wearer. Get it while you can.

  • JOSH07/27/2003

GRAB THIS ONE GUYS. IF YOU LIKE A WARM, WOODY, FRESH, AND VERY RICH, SEXY SCENT...YOU GOTTA' HAVE THIS ONE. IT'S TOTALLY ORIGINAL. YOU WILL HAVE PEOPLE WONDERING WHAT YOU'RE WEARING. BUT IT'S VERY HARD TO FIND, RELAX. SO GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN. IT'S GREAT!!! JOSH

  • PIERCE, THE AFRICAN EXPLORER06/24/2003

I have and am a big fan of zino by davidoff and wonder how this is in comparison? I will most likely get a bottle without really knowing what it smells like but..... Whats the risk anyway..

  • MARIUSZ03/31/2003

One of my Top five. Zino and Relax are different than other colognes. Very oryginal and classy. Hard to get, but try to find on duty free shops...

  • ARNOLD03/16/2003

I bid a sorrowful farewell to my favorite scent. It was next to impossible to find the bottle that I currently have. Amidst the woodsy tones and the aromatic spices there is a sweetness to this scent that makes it my favorite. Bring it back, please!!

  • MARK ZACK10/01/2002

Mild - Oriental / spice with a perfect balance of sweetness. Not too much, just right! This is the best I've had. It's RARE, It's Unique, It's expensive and Discontinue!!! Better that those Phermones stuff that's out there, per all the women who have been close to me, very close! ;>)
