I used this in the eighties. Found some here a couple of years ago. It's the only perfume I've ever sought out like this. It's perfect!

When I was reviewing this, I was thinking that there was only one Missoni. What a mistake. The Missoni I was reviewing is the newest one. It is in a pink bottle with a Missoni scarf around the neck. That fragrance is fabulous. I have never tested this one.

Sylvie, the Missoni that I have is chocolate and oranges. It is in a short round bottle that has the opening off-center with a Missoni scarf around the lid. The fragrance is FABULOUS!!!!! I hope you get it and try it. It is very expensive and worth every cent of it. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. I have been reading your posts and we seem to have similar tastes. I, too, do not like most of the modern popular perfumes. I find most of them offensive. I prefer a soft fragrance with depth, not something that overwhelms everyone in the room. Please let me know when you try this. If you cannot find anyone who has it, you can email me and I will mail you a Kleenex that has been sprayed with Missoni. Just let me know. [email protected]

Hi Mara, are you sure that you have smelt and reviewed THIS Missoni fragrance? It's the "old" and classic first fragrance by Missoni (discontinued) and not the newest one from 2006. The classic, vintage Missoni is a typical Chypre-Floral from 1982. Here a description by osmoz: " Top note : Raspberry, Bergamot, Hyacinth, Cassis. Middle note : Rose, Geranium, Jasmine, Orris. Base note : Patchouli, Moss, Civet, Styrax." - Happy sniffing, Sylvie :o)).

i received a sample of the new missoni perfume from a friend and i love it. doesn't last too long but beatiful scent that is definitely worth buying.

I wandered into a high end retailer today in San Diego and a salesman gave me a sample of this. I didn't like it when he sprayed it on a card, but I got home and tried it on. After the drydown, this is the best fragrance I have ever smelled, and I thought I had smelled all the good ones. It is chocolate and orange, but it just smells soft and mysterious. I have been sniffing my wrist ever since I sprayed it. Seeing the ingredient list, I would never ever have tested this fragrance. Try it. You won't be sorry.
