This is one of about two fragrances that people have actually stopped me in the street asking what I was wearing! It makes me feel as though I were in the Eastern Med, high among the ancient ruins, basking in the sun. ...
Spenser, Mediterranee can absolutely be worn by men and women. My husband loves this and he frequently borrows it - it's beautiful on him. I don't completely agree with the Burberry comparisons, as Mediterranee is more fig and fern and mint. . . OMG, that lovely mint. Still has a touch of cedar, but it's used differently than in Burberry. Incidentally, my husband has also borrowed my Burberry on occasion (in return, I wear his Bvlgari Black and Blv Notte frequently). I think our society is too concerned about packaging that is "just for women" or "just for men." Simply wear what you like with confidence and pleasure. I highly recommend Mediterranee for anyone.
This fragrance makes me headache. It smells like chili sauce from Indonesia (Sambal Cobek/ sambal terasi), so disgusting. My comment about this fragrance "The worst Fragrance by Hermes".
