Please! Please continue with purchasing this magnificant and delicious fragrance. You can't buy this scent anywhere but it's a shame thta it's out of production so please do us a favor! It's a very unique but warm scent, alittle bit sweet and spicy without being oriental.

Posted about this 7 years ago, when I only was able to get the mini. About a little over a year we went vacationing in FL, and I found 3.4 bottle of this wonderful perfume. They have a couple of perfume stores in Clearwater, Fl that have nothing but discontinued perfumes, along with some new ones. That is where I found the big bottle of this stuff. I almost cried when I saw it! I know, I know, I am a perfume-aholic when it comes to collecting. Wonderful, fruity, oriental-chypre scent, worth the money to invest to purchase it!

WOW!!! Le Roy Soleil is a complex, bold and wild concoction: Breathtaking green notes with pineapple and cinnamon!!! Strong, modern, contrary, special, and unique. Delicious, cool and warm and very Dali ;-). Crazy bottle and shocking pink package say enough... Enjoy. Olfactive family: Chypre Oriental. Olfactive description: Fruity Green Floral Spicy Chypre Woody.

I first purchased this in St. Maarten. It still reminds me of warm tropical breezes. It is the sexiest scent I have ever experienced and it brings men to their knees.

it is a classy fragrance ... although it translates to something like the king sun ... it is nor a casual nor a day fragrance ... it is luminous thought ... when i wear it , i feel like i glow somehow , as if rays of confidence , style , elegance and superb good taste radiate from within me ... i wear it when i am in my demanding mood ... when i simply want the best

Ladies, I agree with you. An one-off parfume I had for years ... unfortunately it's not being produced in Europe anymore I'm now desperately trying to get hold of a 100 ml bottle - anyone any ideas they seem to be either sold out or... maybe they really stopped production worldwide?

Out of the bottle, Le Roy Soliel lays down a incense-like vibe, as that dries, you get the ripe, juicy fruit that YSL's Champagne had before the reformulation to Yvresse. The dry down retains some of the fruit, and rounds out to a soft, luscious vanilla-y ness. It is quite long-lasting, too. Very sexy, in a "juicy peach" sort of way.

I don't think I could say enough about this awesome fragrance! When I first smelled it, the first thing that came to my mind was art combined with elegance and a touch of extravagance. I loved it right away!! Very very elegant but most importantly, different from all the others! I've said this before, but I hate perfumes that smell like a million of other fragrances out there...if a fragrance does not hold some kind of originality,personality and uniqueness, then it's not even worth buying it! Le Roi Soleil is one of those perfumes, I believe, that will surprise you...it might even become your signature scent. Oh.what a heavenly scent! Take my word on this...it's like no other!!!

Pumpkin pie(leaves quickly); tropical fruit; sweet but not nauseating; cool floral; clean & light rose base. Very different.

This fragrance is truly delicious. It's bright but rich and spicy at the same time. I usually avoid "bright-tart" fragrances as they smell like acid to me, but this avoids that pitfall.

I always get compliments when ever I wear the perfume. It has a sweet, nautical scent, yet it is sporty and daring. This site is amazing that le roy soleil is available. I couldn't find the perfume anywhere besides the Dali Museum, until I found this site!!
