| I have worn this for over 30 years and my only regret is that Estee Lauder bought the company and took away the oil base and now it is a water based eau de toilet. Aramis is an anytime cologne. I also wear Eternity for men as a mainly summertime cologne. And I also wear Dirty English which is more of a winter cologne but really can be worn for any occasion. All this is my own personal opinion and not meant to offend or sway anyone. These are just My personal preferences and mayby someone might try something new. Steve |

| Smoky, leathery- a "come hither" scent to be sure. This can't be mistaken for unisex scent. I only wish I smelled it on more men! |

| Every time I smell this, it reminds me of Ted Danson in that raincoat, umbrella & briefcase ad for Aramis in 1966. Like classic Ted, the older this fragrance gets, the more distinguished it becomes. |

| Just bought a bottle of Excite Classic from Aldi yes Aldi.
Is not that far from Aramis in its fragrance.
Costs a couple of quid, (about 3 bucks) but is well worth it.
Whoever reads this call in to Aldi (I dont work for them.) and try it.

It has to be the Classic as they sell a few different types, it comes in a sturdy dark blue box.
Tell them Groucho is never wrong. |
