| Viva's a cross between Samba Kiss and Samba New Man, yet distinct from both. But like Samba Red & Samba Heat, it goes limp before I do. Frustrating, because all of the Samba scents that I've sampled or used in the last 10 years are quite pleasant except for one: ORIGINAL (fresh, citrus), NOVA HOMME (resembles Obsession) (terra cotta colored opaque bottle), NATURAL MAN(resembles ZIRH, Lanvin Oxygene, and Eau De Gray Flannel, not the original Gray Flannel) (clear bottle & "juice), HEAT (buttery, spicy), KISS (reminds me of Royal Coppenhaggen of 30 years ago, one of my 1st memorable high school colognes), VIVA (see above) & TRUE BLUE (very pronounced citrus). But I recently sampled Samba ICE & was the 1st Samba I did not like (too sweet & cloying). Overall, the Samba line is excellent & inexpensive, but fragrance staying power is weak with some of the varieties. |
