| Great scent... very sweet. If I had to decribe it I would say to me it smells like a mix of vanilla, coffee, and cake. I couldn't stop smelling my arm where I put it on..
If you like sweet scents than you will like this one.
I have never smelled the original Pi. can anyone who has smelled them both tell me if they are similar? |

| The top notes begin by a strong smell of alcohol but not cloying or stuffy. Then it gets more interesting as the alcoholic smell vanishes. The jasmine note makes it smell like your typical air freshener unfortunately but it is the combination of benzoin in the drydown that makes it have that fresh sweet fragrance that some say smell like cakes or scented pencil erasers. To the extreme it does smell like rat poison but the base notes are definable as camphoric or frankincense. If you like this type of woody notes I recommend Sander by Jil Sander which is a million times better because it does not have the alcohol stench nor induce any poison memories. By the way, some people can be sensitive to the benzoic acid which may cause a burning sensation to the skin. Also beware that this EDT smells like some roll-on deodorant in the market. |
