| Being "Harley-Riders" I had to get this for my hubby! I found it at Gordmans for $17.00..a steal! Turned out we both like it. And like a previous poster said...it doesn't smell like exhaust or oil!!! That was funny!!! |

| For all the curious people about this fragrance, I decided to take some minutes and write this review. Well, I don't own a bike and I have never been very interested in Harleys or anything like that. But yesterday I was at the mall and there was this lonely bottle of this Original Harley Davidson fragrance and I couldn't resist to try it. I always tried to imagine what a Harley Davidson cologne would smell like... Grease? Gasoline??? :-)
I actually ended buying this cologne, since I thought it was high quality and a different fragrance from the others I already have.
Despite the Harley brand, it is made in France and I think it is the fragrance that lasts longer in my collection. It lasts longer than Swiss Army(fresh but lasts forever).
When first applied it reminds me of JAZZ and Gucci Envy, which are also very strong at first. Think of strong as in ANIMALE. Then it dries to something very, very, very similar to Polo Green. I could almost call this cologne Polo Green on steroids. It is a very strong, lasting, woodsy and masculine scent. I generally like the lighter stuff, but it was nice to have such a different and strong cologne. It lasts a loooooong time. If you like Polo green by Ralph Lauren, you will love this one. The smell is almost the same. Great price too. A good surprise with this Harley Davidson. It was the last fragrance I could ever imagine to own... |
