IMO this new version smells NOTHING like the original. This new stuff is really ozonic, and doesnt have much staying power at all. This new formula is not a terrible scent, but its certainly not like the original Byblos. IMO this smells like all the other ozonic colognes out there. If you buy this expecting to get the original Byblos you're going to be really surprised, and probably not in a good way :o\

Did the packaging change? Is the scent the same? It used to come in a Dark Blue bottle with Brown Flower Cap. It this the same. I absolutely love the scent but having a very hard time finding it. The upscale stores do not carry it anymore.

does anyone know if there is a difference between the old byblos for men and the new packaging? somehow the new one does not smell as I remember it.

Wonderful, extraordinary fragrance. Good for very casual use as someone mentioned, also office or evening. Great scent.
