| Egoiste is still being sold today at premium prices. Can you explain that? Also, quite a few fragrances out there smell like the platinum, but none are like the original ( and better) Egoiste. |

| it smells 100 times better than the odd, ugly duckling little brother Egoiste. And to Javier, i think your "refined" nose is giviing you hallucinations if you think Egoiste is actually a good fragrance. It's not, and thats why it was discontuinued long ago. Not because people didn't appreciate it. |

| Why is it when someone disagrees with someone else's choice of fragrance they automatically become defensive and say they must wear Cool Water or Acqua di Gio when there are so many other choices to wear? I just happen to dislike this particular fragrance and like others hear think it smells medicinal. But you enjoy your fragrance as is your right and it's my right not to enjoy it which is completely my freedom. I remember when it came out and didn't like it then and don't like it now. Liking this fragrance makes you or anyone here no better than anyone else although some people seem to think they are (that's an illusion you can all be under because this a big country and thankfully we don't have to know you or smell you). |

| now if u see the fragrances by chanel in ladies version every fragrance is an extension of the last one only few notes r changed here and there but in mens version this is less done as egoiste and platinum r totally different. |
