This ultraspicy daywear cologne is definitely an improvement over FCUK which just didn't work for me. This one is spicy-fresh but the scent itself gets to be a bit of bore after awhile.

Van Cleef & Arpels colognes I can say this: Pour Homme and Tsar are the ones with class and character. The ones you should check out if you like fragrances like Kouros, Fahrenheit and Santos de Cartier. As for Zanzibar it´s just for experts who have 49 other colognes and need something different for nr.50. Zanzibar has this peppery touch. But it´s just a touch, nothing more. For Zanzibar is a modern fragrance; that is it´s on sick leave and hardly there. Drydown is ok. but reaches a dull flat tone after about three hours. The bottle is a nice experiment in transparency and color contrast but the bottle shape is just bland assymetry. The bottle is also clumsy and impractical. My tips: become a Tsar and never go to Zanzibar :-)

Decided to locate and sample based on some excellent reviews from a few P.E. familiars and quite good. Spicy, fresh and the women like it a lot.......just don't overspray.
