| This stuffs good, but has no power at all. It is like Musk by Dana smells very good but just does not have the lingering effect as products by Joop, Caron, Cartier, La Perla, etc, which is why this is cheaper. I say pass - get something good for 10 bucks more - something that lingers better. |

| Which is what this cologne does. As one tasty and tastefull female commented when I asked her opinion:
"Too French!"
I can't top that except to explain it's cheapo/overwhelming rather than elegant French, vintage 1984.
Speaking of 1984, as a tribute to Orwell's doublespeak, it's presented as a mossy woody scent enriched with ambergris.
Allow me to translate.
It's lavender (what else--1980's) pine, a couple of florals which you won't notice and --here we go--leather/patchouli/amber/musk SUPERBASE notes.
This one will kill a bloodhound at ten paces.
Great for annoying a co-worker who hasn't the clout to complain.
Another virtue is that it's so tenacious it bites. NO ONE can complain that this wears off after a short time.
