Yes it lasts, at least for a good 7-10 hours which is the average for most colognes. I have also gotten some strong compliments and I rotate between a dozen other scents. My advice to you is to hit a department store, spray some on your wrist and see how it dries down. Keep smelling it every 30 minutes or so throughout the dry down. If you still like it 4 to 5 hours later then you can decide if it's something you should buy. This is the only way to tell if it will smell good on you and if it will last. Reviews can only guide you so far, your personal body chemistry has the final say. A scent can change drastically over time as it mixes with your body oil so never by at first glance.

I'm really surprized that there are not more reviews for this scent. It has a woods scent with a nice hint of floral & fruity sweetness. I have gotten some strong compliments with this one. I see it has a casual cologne with elegance that you could wear every day whether it be day or night. Very well done and one of the better new ones to come out.

but del mar not soul. this could be del mar elegant. they both share alotta of the same notes but this is a little more seductive and romantic. good but if you have del mar then don't both. hugo should be ashamed.

hugo is ripping off fragrances he just introduced a couple years ago and giving them new names. ok not exactly. this could be considered as soul deep or extreme. also a bit more of a romantic cologne that is good.
