| John Varvatos Vintage was intentionally made for the seasoned matured gentlemen. JV Vintage is more subtle and less sweet than the original and wears very close to the skin which is perfect for the conservative cool gentlemen over 40. Honestly, I enjoy the original JV more than this version, but I feel that JV Vintage is the cologne this gentleman should be wearing in rotation with other favorities like: Boucheron Pour Homme, Burberry London, Hypnose, Dreamer, Visit, Iceberg Twice and Givenchy Blue Label or Avon's RPM |

| Although the original is good, it's one major flaw to me is that it is just too damn sweet. Not so with this sequel, which adds some very well-done smoke and leather...and throws in a little dash of mystery as well. Better than the original to my nose... especially in colder weather. |
