Wow! Thanks Perfume Emporium, I love reading all the fragrance reviews, I'm so glad there is now a forum where it will be easier to discuss all these wonderful (or not so wonderful) fragrances! I can't wait for some of my favorite reviewers: Maya, Greekgirl, Barbara W, FragranceJunkie, just to mention a few, to get logged on! I love your reviews, they are always really objective, informative, and fun to read. Well, I thought I would start some conversation by posting for one of the most viewed perfumes, and my most recent addition: Angel. I just got this a few days ago for the first time (I know, it's been around since 1992 and it seems everyone knows it, yet my first Angel experience was only a few days ago! Honestly, I have only really gotten into fragrance in the last year, but my collection is growing quickly.) I got it because a friend recommended it, and boy, am I thrilled. I love this! I find myself sniffing at the spicy, smooth, edible scent all day long. I like to change it up and wear a different fragrance every day, but since I got this,I can't seem to switch to anything else. It lasts so well, it doesn't take but a few squirts, and I've already gotten so many comments on how great it is. I thought this would just make my collection more well-rounded, but I'm in love. I really want to try all the other Thierry Mugler scents, especially La Rose Angel. I would love to hear some insights from anyone who has testedit out, especially because my mom's birthday is coming up,and she just adores roses, I'm hoping I can find a great gift! Well, I'm awaiting some more more members and posts and replies! Thanks everyone!

Hi there! I too have recently found a new love in Angel. I tried it a few years ago and hated it but recently tried it again and I loved it. Isn't it great? I haven't tried La Rose Angel yet, but I was so excited to see a forum that I had to say hi! I love to collect perfumes and I'm so excited that now I'll have other's with the same addiction as me to talk about it with =). Amy

My frist post too! I am not a girl but that doesn't mean I can't be totaly in love with a womens perfume. Angel is one of my all time favorites to smell on a girl. There was one at school who wore it almost everyday and I never got bored of it. This is more than just an amazing smell. Thiery Mugler knows how to make perfume!

I first discovered Angel when living on a Pacific Island in 2005. I think I read about it in a magazine. I purchased it from a tiny boutique without even smelling it as there were no testers. I was so amazed looking at the star bottle that the first squirt went right in my face! The smell was really unusual and interesting but couldn't get used to it as it was nothing like my other perfumes. In the heat it turned sour on my skin so I sold it to my friend for half price. After coming back home I was still intrigued by Angel. I loved the beautiful bottle and packaging and there was something about the smell. I tested it in shops and it was ok, especially in cooler weather. So I got another bottle! And again, getting used to this smell seemed a challenge. I was in the process of selling it again on an internet auction when I went tp the theatre tonight and smelt it on a lady. I am in love again! I like it most in the evening and in cool weather. This is not a fragrance I would comfortably wear from dusk to dawn. It doesn't go well with a t-shirt and shorts. But I do like the fragrance a lot and had to withdraw the auction. I don't think I will be selling my Angel again!

I agree that it's not really a good fragrance for hot weather. I gave the beautiful little mini bottles shaped like stars as Christmas gifts to some friends one year and although Angel isn't my style, others love it.

Hello everyone. Right now I am wearing two scents. I sprayed on Victoria's Secret-Love Spell. The scent is a mix if Peach and white oleander as well as some other scents. It smells so refreshing without being too fruity. Its just the body spray so the scent does tend to wear off after a few hours. I also carry around a little take with you roll on perfume of Nanette Lepore ( I saw it at Sephora and figured I'd give it a whirl). Its more perfume smelling but is not too strong. I am a fan!

I was wondering what everyone thought of Ralph Lauren Rocks?? I like it, but what is so weird is that I dont like any of the other Ralph Lauren Perfumes (they have rocks, hot, cool, etc) I was wondering what everyone had to say about the line of perfumes.
