A daringly elegant, unforgettable fragrance! An initial sparkling yet tender sensation of sophisticated sweet indulgence followed by the bewitching character of the violet, softened by a sensual, voluptuous touch.

Beautiful
YES! Finally! A fragrance that doesn't turn acrid, foul & sour...Angel Violet starts out floral & sweet, and as the fragrance wears, it opens up into an ever-so-slightly, sweet, sexy, powdery, feminine bouquet that demands attention! I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist!
I read so many good comments but sadly it doesn't suit me. I sprayed it on my left wrist, and sprayed Angel La Rose on my right. 15 minutes later the Violet fragrance disappeared, while La Rose was still obviously there. Just before it disappeared, it smelled of a heavy bitter floral bouquet, something probably more mature women would wear. Very grandmotherly.
Hi Mara! No, Angel Violet does not smell like Angel... I wear Angel all the time and I bought the Garden of Angels (Lily and Violet). They are both a lot more floral than the original Angel... Violet doesn't have the strong smell of caramel, chocolate and patchouli. It's very warm and dries down great... the best way I can describe the difference between Angel and Angel Violet is that Violet is less sweet, less patchouli-y and more floral. It's a great fragrance... try to test it out somewhere! I think you'll like it!
Does this have the same sweet smell that the original Angel has? I do not like Angel at all, as it reminds me of going through a sicknengly sweet candy factory. I do love the scent of violets. Just need to know if this is as sweet as the original Angel.
I love this one the best of the Garden of angel fragrances. It smells like purple flowers and goes well with my lavendar bath products. The lasting power on my skin is amazing...16+ hours. I feel engulfed in luxury.
I agree with "best of the three" message previously posted... I am also a "fragrance junkie"... especially an ANGEL junkie... I love them ALL! Angel Violet is the best one out of the garden. I just put my robe on before writing this and I'm smelling it as I write and it is warm, inviting, sensous and wonderful. A hint of floral violet but not over-flowery. It's the best and I love it. Even my daughter likes it which is amazing because she doesn't really like all the other Angel scents (maybe, one day...) I recommend this highly and promise that you will not be disappointed.
Best of the three garden scents in my opinion. I agree, it doesn't smell like violets, yet it is a floral that soon warms to sensuous deeper notes. Again, I don't detect the strong patchouli notes of the original Angel. Interestingly enough, the elements of the trio all seem to be identical with the exception of a few notes, yet they do smell different enough that you want to buy them all! (Or is it just me, the fragrance junkie?!) Anyway, if Angel is too strong for you, this one will surely delight you.
This scent is heavenly, which is a good thing, since it lasts for days, and I do take a daily shower. :) But don't expect it to smell like violets.
