so often I see the message that a fragrance doesnt last, with fragrances that last a long time in my experience. It could be your skin or climate, but it could also be that you used too much and then you cant smell it anymore. The sensors in your noise dont pick it up anymore. Ask someone else if they can still smell it on you.... thats a better indication. Otherwise, just spray lightly on wrists and inner elbows and stay away from your face. Check it out that day and you will have a better idea of whether the scent actually lasts.

Jason, havent tried London. I dont care for the Paul Smith Extreme though. But, I do like Paul SMith regular. But I would like a nice fresh green that also has warmth to it...so many men's colognes out there now smell the same to me!!

Thanks for the info bro.I have 212 and like it well enough. It wasnt "green" enough for me.212 did the trick for me.Anyway, Im not solely on "green" now, but I will definitely try Essentials. Also, to Jason Bourne, Im sure I have the original, but would like to try London.

Better than average, unusual but interesting alchemy of notes adds up to a sweet green fragrance that's actually gotten me some good feedback from both men and women.

Has clean scent and not bad initially, but half-way through the day, you'll want to wash it off. I got sick of the cheap drug-store "air-freshener" smell. Pass on this one or try a sample first.

I sense that many reviewers including myself are confused by PS LONDON with the one shown here. The original PS Men is not as good as the later LONDON, therefore those who gave this 5 stars might have meant for the LONDON version.

smells very similiar to this. is fresh supposed to be green?? hmm.. i thought more blue than green for fresh scents but what do i know. i do know this, dunhill copies more scents than anybody but i will choose perry ellis's copies anyday. back to paul, green is my least favorite type of scent but dunhill thinks it's good enough to copy so i will change my rating.

always here 2 help taj. essential is by far the best release of the year and anything by carolina will do. alaso hugo and frank are consisdered green.

A refreshingly green scent that's not a bad sleeper for the women but green/mossy fragrances are not really my favorite...........at least I'm a bit picky about them. Neat-looking bottle, though.

  • TAJSMELLSGOOD09/10/2005

Green through and through for the little duration it lasts.Dont wear much due to this fact.Anything similiar that lasts? Is there anything greener?

  • TONY T05/28/2005

swiss army but too grassy smelling.. so happy i only purchased a mini . a green is your thing look no further. if a little green floats your boat try swiss which is great and very inexpensive...

I bought this for my husband and it always smells perfect on him. From the top note to the dry down. Fresh, green, hint of musk, just yummy. I don't think it smells like Fahrenheit at all, as the description page says. Not to me anyway.

  • ROB H.06/16/2004

Nice bottle which glows under black lighting but the scent itself is a bit too green for me.

  • MIKEY05/21/2004

I have this and i must say i really reccomend it!!!

  • R.J.04/15/2004

A WONDERFUL SCENT; NO DOUBT. PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS IS REMINISCENT OF FAHRENHEIT, HOWEVER, WITH THE "GREEN" FEELING THIS HAS, IT IS REMINDS ME MORE OF GREENERGY BY GIVENCHY. THEY ARE BOTH GREAT SCENTS DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT I THINK THEY ARE OFF WITH THE FAHRENHEIT COMPARISON. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE EXTREME VERSION. I HEAR IT'S BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. I POST AGAIN WHEN I COME ACROSS IT.

  • W.B.04/15/2004

A WINNER TO THE UTMOST. A HALL OF FAMER TO BE IN DUE TIME.

  • TOMMY. A.04/11/2004

A very nice scent - wears very well om my skin. Try it if you like Fahrenheit.

I am a hugh fan of fresh fragrances like Acqua Di Gio,Issey... I've been rotating among these for years and get a bit bored. I got Paul Smith for men by chance, really surprised at its fresh notes and the complicated layers it evolves. First it smells very green and fresh, presenting what an early spring morning could be like. Then it suddenly changes into the similarity of CD Farenheit. However, everything is still very fresh and classy, not too strong and offensive. IMHO, it's much of a greener version of Farenheit, more floral but less potent, ideal for spring and summer. It will certainly top my rotation in future. Terrific!

like this fragrance, not strong, girls love it on me, what smells even better is Paul Smith Extreme, dont see it on the reviews yet my girls is going to get 4 highly recommen this and extreme, try chrome Azzaro

  • FERNANDO08/29/2003

I was thinking about buying this one but when I tested it on my skin I didn't like it all. I think it is too sweet instead of "fresh". It is very strong too, so I believe it must last a long time. Unfortunately I didn't like the scent, but lots of other people do, so if you are in doubt you should try in your skin first. I regard "Aqua di Gio" as a fresh cologne, and this one had nothing to do with Gio. As I said before, I think it is way too sweet

  • BRAD MEDLING05/30/2003

My Name is Brad. I have been a complete fragrance fanatic ever since I was a little kid trying to find the right one for me. I took a chance on Paul Smith by the way it read and what the customers had to say. It is absolutelt the fragrance that I have been searching for my entire life! Paul Smith is Green, fresh, and sparkling! I highly recommend this for everyone. I wished I knew where I could order separate deoderant and shower gel. Another favorite of mine is Colonge by Thierry Mugler. ENJOY!!!!!

  • JOY09/10/2002

Bought this for my husband for fathers day - I have never smelt it before and was very pleasantly suprised - it is absolutely delicious - very masculine and fresh and long lasting. My husband thought it was great too - and the packaging of the box was great. 10 of 10 - buy with confidence - the shower gel is great too.

  • BLUE06/17/2002

I sprayed only a few drops and I could still smell traces of it on me after two days!

  • KCYONG03/07/2002
