The male fragrance from Narciso Rodriguez and Beaute Prestige International: Narciso Rodriguez for Him, joined the first fragrance of the designer Narciso Rodriguez for Her. The creator is Francis Kurkdjian from Takasago, who made the female version together with Christian Nagel. This perfume was inspired by "the great masculine fougere fragrances from 1980's" and includes: musk, amber, violet leaf and patchouli. It was launched in 2007.
Last week I went and bought NR musc for him (the musk oil), crippling my budget. But holy goat, what a delicious thing it is. Civilized and calm, assertive yet polite. And long lasting. Highly recommended.
I smell it in Sephora and I just cant believe how terrible could be one perfume....It was soooooo heavy, that I had a headache in 15 minutes! In the same time everyone around me tell me that it was perfect!!!! After hours I was starting to believe that it was good (because it was not as strong as it was in the morning), but I dont know....it was terrible....!!!!!!!!
VERY, VERY SEXY. REMINDS ME OF FAHRENHEIT ON THE DRYDOWN. I WILL BE GETTING THIS SOON.
It's quite unique, and the opening is a bit too powerful with notes that could be disagreeable to some: violet leaves and patchouli perhaps. But the drydown is very good...a friendly sweet musk that smiles for a long while. It's probably the high quality flaçon and packaging that inflate the price. NR: the whole thing is very classy...
One of the best releases of the last years. Fell in love with it after giving it a second chance. Truly outstanding. Swells woody, musky and sweet. At first encounter thought it smelt a little bit too 'medical'. But now love it. Bought 1.7 oz. EDT first and now 3.4 oz. EDT too.
and greener is this one. not earthy but green. not as foul as mentioned previously but very simple. not worth the healthy price tag. try hermes terre if you are willing to shove out the big bucks.
Ok, so I'll start out by saying before this was released, I was extremely excited and anxious to try it. When it arrived in stores, I went to Bloomingdales to test it out. It was truly awful! In fact, it was one of the most unpleasant scents I've ever had the displeasure of smelling. To me, it smelled like fertilizer and musty, moss covered swamp. I thought maybe it was just the top notes, but I was sadly mistaken. It just got worse as it dried down. This was one of the few scents I hated so much, I had to go to the restroom and wash it off.
well just smelled in a strip in a magazine, but i agree with barbara w, it smelled yuck, strange that nr can do such a thing that too in mens perfume.
I haven´t been able to try this perfume yet, but I am very interested since Narciso for her is so great, I wonder if it is similar to it.
I usually like earthy, woody scents, but there is nothing about this that I enjoy. Smells dirty and unpleasant. Bleh!
NR for men is a fougere musky type of scent, one can definitely think of soap, barbershops.....etc. Overall, it stands out among the recent boring releases, wait till you try the musk oil, o boy it's such a treat, better yet try layering the oil and the EDT. Well done!
