Bought this for the hubby, a very subtle and enticing aroma... Overall, gorgeous scent.

  • GHIS03/15/2012

    Best scent ever

  • DON CORLEONE07/28/2011

My first review apparently never went through, so I'm going to make this short and sweet. I don't find anything "WOW" about this one. Sillage and longevity suck (seems to be a problem with Sean John fragrances overall), price is too high, but at least the notes are pleasant enough. I bought a 0.5 oz to try, but will definitely NOT be purchasing again.

  • LISY05/20/2010

THis stuff is just great on my baby

  • HARDMAN11/11/2009

Puffy absolutely copied Creed's Millesime Imperial with this scent. Both are great scents. Creed's Millesime Imperial is better but much, much more expensive. I have bought several Creed scents in the past, but due to current financial contraints, I bought Unforgivable. I just hate having to admit that I'm wearing anything associated with Puffy. Maybe I'll just say I'm wearing Creed.

  • TUBLEU - CALIFORNIA10/11/2009

THE MEN THAT ARE HATIN ON PDIDDY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SMELLING MENS COLOGNES ON THE MARKET. THIS IS COMING FROM A WOMAN.

  • ANDY08/28/2009

great fresh opening, nice sweet masculine drydown and very hip but so many people are wearing it

  • COLOGNE DUDE06/14/2009

very nice cologne ,very different and has very tolerable notes to it i highly reccommend it .......very very nice and one of my favorites

  • JAMES 04/13/2008

This smells like an old lady all bottled up, nasty. There was a girl that wore this cologne in one of my classes which makes me wonder why any male would want to smell the same. I would not let a women dress me and I dam sure would not let one pick out a cologne. Therefore, if they like it you have to question why?

  • "MAKGUYVER"03/05/2008

For as expensive as this cologne is you'd expect more. This "stuff" is SO OVERRATED...very weak! Too flowery/powdery. Smells like a flowery women's talcum powder. This is hardly a MANLY SCENT. Made FOR A MAN...SMELLS LIKE A SCENT FOR A WOMAN! thumbs down

  • TONYGIO02/01/2008

This one took a while to grow on me, but I have come to quite like its unique, warm, subtle smoothness. Actually reminds me of ginger ale every time it hits my skin (the champagne note maybe?), but definitely a quality fragrance, though it is perhaps a bit overpriced...

  • LIL MRS. MEMPHIS TN. 3812501/15/2008

I purchased 3 bottles for my hubby, & 2 sons (ages 14 & 18). My sons are really pleased with this scent. Little girls compliment the 14 yrs old all the time. The 18 yrs old already has it going on in college, he's alway getting compliments. It smells excellent on my hubby. I've even caught the three spraying away out of each others bottles. This has really proved to be a GOOD LOOK in my household. I recommend it, also it compliments their dress attire, wheather they are dressed up or casual wear.

  • DARRSHAN01/07/2008

well to start with i would say that i bought it by going through the reviews given here, yaa its good but not something very great.

  • DNICE12/09/2007

this is a must buy..! this cologne had da jean paul gaultier effect on ladies makes them wanna maul you.. fellas if you have the money buy it.! good job diddy. V Valentino...Rochas..Hypnose..also good buys..and can't forget marc jacobs..

  • SEXY LADY12/06/2007

I think it is a really great produce! I love it my boyfriend wears it and wow I can't stop smelling him!

  • E.R.11/21/2007

The first spray of this made me wonder if I had made a mistake. Just wait and give it a chance. The drydown to this is great. It will pull you back in and make you change your mind and you'll say "Hey, I think we may have something here."

  • WB11/07/2007

I THOUGHT ABOUT AN IDEA THE OTHER DAY. SINCE CREED IMPERIAL SMELLS EXACTLY LIKE THIS, WHY NOT LAYER THAT AND UNFORGIVABLE TO MAKE BOTH SCENTS BLEND HARMONIOUSLY INTO ONE ANOTHER AND GIVE OFF A LONGER LASTING EFFECT? THINK ABOUT IT, WHEN YOU GO THE CLUB OR ANYWHERE SOCIAL OR EVEN WORK, PEOPLE WON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE ANYWAY SO WHY NOT GIVE IT A SHOT AND DOUBLE THE PLEASURE? IT WOULD BE A HOMEMADE EXTREME OR PARFUM VERSION OF WHATEVER YOU MIGHT WANNA CALL IT. LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS. WB.

  • JUDE C09/25/2007

This stuff is in my top five. I already explained it, but for me, it is up there with - Third Man and L'anarchiste - both by Caron - Antaeus- and Ungaro III. Santos is up there too. I cannot believe this stuff is this good. My girlfriend bought me a bottle of it, for my birthday, this stuff simply rocks!!!!

  • JUDE C09/07/2007

Very very shocked here. This stuff is great. I am not a big fan of the newer colognes, but I got to give proops here. Usher (who I cannot stand) came out with an edt and that is great too. Unforgivable, has a fruity sexy smell to it. Very unique and long lasting. Girls love this stuff. Even though they smell different, this stuff reminds me of Mambo by Claborne. Very sexy, Miami Beach feel. This stuff is a little more high quality than Mambo, but both remind me of walking in Miami on the beach at night. Great stuff.

  • DENISE09/07/2007

This smells really bad on my husband. I bought it for him on the reviews that I read here. Smells like a floor cleaner. Awful.

  • SILKY08/12/2007

exactly, it smells like SWM, but it doesn't have that annoying ink pen note that turned me off to it. I haven't smelled MI yet as Creeds and I do not agree with each other. But, I will say that this is a surprisingly good job by Mr. Diddy which is why he gets five stars from me.

  • AD07/11/2007

it is a copy of the creed silver mountain just that the unforgivable is cheaper jajajaj

  • DAVID M06/10/2007

Top notes a copy of creed MI, does not project as well as MI nor does it have the usual Creed dry down, I know MI is puffy's favorite cologne but he should have at least put a twist on it if he was trying to pay hommage to MI, the peole who are so impressed by it have obvously have to tried Creed's MI

  • SERIEL06/10/2007

I agree with you 100%. I have never tried Creed's MI. Now I really like Unforgivable and it smells good on me. If it's true about this smelling exactly like Imperial, then it should be rated higher as it is a Creed scent for 1/3 the price. I really don't care who makes what or who wears what. All I care about is smelling good and the value of my dollar. Believe me when I tell you that if someone else came out with a copy of Unforgivable for less money, I would be the first to buy it instead of criticizing it.

  • CONNIE06/09/2007

THIS IS THIS BEST SMELLING COLOGNE I HAVE EVER SMELLED ON MY HUBBY.

  • OLIVER06/03/2007

WHY IS IT EVERYBODY PRAISES THIS COLOGNE WHEN IT IS AN OBVIOUS COPYCAT TO CREED AND YET ALL PEOPLE DO IS ATTACK LIZ WHEN SHE HAS A NEW CURVE OR ARMANI'S ACQUA DI GIO IS TOO COMMON? IT SEEMS TO ME PEOPLE HAVE SELECTIVE HORSE BLINDERS ON AND LOVE UNFORGIVABLE WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A ONE-HIT WONDER.

  • TONI05/22/2007

I smelled this in a magazine strip and it really smells GOOD, one of the best men's scents I have ever come across. I don't understand why the harsh words that it's a ripoff of Creed Imperiale. This isn't the only scent that smells like another, there are dozens of fragrances on the market that are similar to others. Why pay over $200 for a fragrance when you can get just about the same for much, much less? Anyhow, this stuff smells WONDERUL!

  • MICHAEL05/01/2007

The wife surprised me with this for Christmas and it grew on my quickly. Plus, she goes nuts over it. She also likes Armani Mania and Lagerfeld, to give you a reference.

  • BILL JEE04/07/2007

Sean 'Puff Diddy' Combs just doesn't plagerize other peoples music. Oh no. He has to steal their fragrance as well. This should have been named Fake Creed's Millesime Imperial. Still, like Creed's Millesime Imperial it does smell pretty good.

  • SKIPPY03/31/2007

In the way that the cologne, "Be Delicious," is a bad name for a cologne because it is too wussy, the name "Unforgivable," is equally bad in a different direction. Being unforgivable can end a relationship...it's a psychological thing. Other than that, it is a good, possibly great scent. But because of the name, I feel it's too much of a risk to take. Ok, if your going to a bar for a one night stand, I guess as long as your never going to see her again...sure, why not. I'll rate it as excellent, but I will not buy Unforgivable, (or wear it even once), because I don't want a women going to sleep at night dreaming about me as unforgivable. Any name would have worked - (I don't know if these are already taken; just quick examples) Blast, Player, Hollywood, Alpha, ...but "Unforgivable?" Again, just my opinion, but if they are going to call it Unforgivable, they might as well have called it, Pedophile or racist.

  • TUXI03/04/2007

I have a hard time telling people that am wearing creed imperial not sean john unforgivable. This s is a scent for people that want to smell like chav's , fake gangsta's and wannabe's. Its a rip off

  • GUY01/22/2007

Cologne smells good but its extremely DILUTED! I need at least 3 sprays before my gf could tell that I was wearing it! Don't even think about putting it on your wrist because when the cologne contact the skin u cannot smell it unless you're 2 inches away. Very dissapointing, other wise I love the smell. Glad that I got the 4 oz bottle!

  • RYAN. T01/01/2007

This is a cologne I tested out and the verdict is, it is now a welcome part of my collection. This is a scent in my opinion that is citrusy and woodsy. This is not too musky either. The drydown is consistent with its first application. Unforgivable also has good lasting power. For a first effort, I say Sean did a realy nice job on this one.

  • SERIEL12/13/2006

I never buy on impulse. I always put a little on the wrist and let it settle for a few hours before I decide. On the way out of the store I tried this at, two women stopped dead in their tracks as I passed them and asking if that incredible smell was coming from me. They were both highly impressed and this was just with a small amount on the wrist. I've gotten some strong compliments with this stuff. The only problem is that it only lasts about 5 to 7 hours. For this high price it should last all day.

  • OZ 12/03/2006

Sean John Unforgivable Cologne it is the best yea i no it is alot of money but i well buy it SCENT Great

  • MRS. M. GIBBS09/25/2006

THIS IS A VERY DIFFERENT SMELL FOR MEN. NOT LIKE ALL THE LOUD SMELLS WE ARE USE TO. GOOD CHOICE IN PUTTING THIS SCENT TOGETHER. THIS IS TOTALLY SOMETHING NEW FOR MEN. GOOD JOB.

  • HN09/20/2006

smells good at the store . to expensive. no compliments at all. like i get with my other frgrances

  • CJ09/05/2006

Really nice introduction cologne from Sean John. It can be worn around the office or at night w/ some cocoa butter! :-)~

  • BRANDY07/20/2006

I guess some ppl collect cool looking bottles just for the vanity set. I care more about the scent and if the bottle is cool then that's a bonus. This is a crisp, clean, and very modern smell. I love it. Very enticing on a guy.

  • TAJSMELLSGOOD07/03/2006

This is not bad at all, just not special or different. The bottle is ugly also.

  • JAY06/25/2006

this rocks. on me it smells amazing and i have plenty of cologne to choose from. its clean sparkling and amzing quit hating!!!!

  • EXPERT06/25/2006

Ever go to a department store and those girls working there shove those cardboard samplers in front of you? Happens every time when you go to the typical department stores which usually I say "JUST LOOKING!" Anyways, most the time on paper the colognes are always dilluted smelling I can't interpet the smell. But this cologne I was stunned. It's an odd blend of appealing woods with a refined and sweet smell of citrus. Other then that, it's one of the more original and different smells out there. I sprayed some on me and it seems to last quite a long time. Whether I think it's for me or not I don't know.

  • LOS06/23/2006

As expected, this board is becoming and will be based on comments favorable/unfavorable to Diddy himself and not necessarily the scent. No I'm not a Diddy fan. Yes it does smell like creed MI. Yes it is no coincidence! Yes sean jean is a biter in all aspects! But the facts- Still #1 seller at Sephoras since debut. Was #1 selling cologne in the WORLD from 1st week of April till 1st of June and could perhaps still be. No everyone has not smelled, sampled or owned Creed MI. Yes it smells great and has female attraction! Yes Estee Lauder helped create this scent for him! Sean's scent whether unfavorable to "us" cologne fanatics including myself extends beyond this board, urban cats, and the 20-30 age bracket!!! Good scent!

  • TONY T06/16/2006

true that sean copied creed's great and made it his 1st cologne which is also his favorite well, it's expected. sean makes hits "music, clothing and now cologne. biggie smalls 1st hit was looped by an early 70's song so what can i say. how many cats have tried a creed product vs. mr. combs. my point exactly. this cologne is not for the cologne lovers that have an arsenal of colognes but the urban cat who has probably never owned more than 5 bottles and between 20-30.

  • MAKI06/12/2006

This smells like a cheaper sharper version of Creed's Millesime Imperial which was created in 1995. Sean John just took another fragrance and changed it a bit and put his name on it.

  • COLOGNE COLLECTOR06/07/2006

This stuff smells too much like Creed Millesime Imperial, and the MI is one of Puffy's favorite fragrances, for sure it is no coincidence. I'd stick with the MI, thank you.

  • JASON1304/18/2006

Had been trying to find a summer 2006 fragrance- fresh/citrus or fresh/aquatic. My skin normally does not fair well with fresh scents. Narrowed it down to 212h20, Del Mar, or Lacoste essential(very green) with Del Mar being my choice until this came out and I sampled it!! Blew me away!!! Fragrance saleswoman where i sampled it would not suggest no other cologne. She just kept sniffing the paper over and over!!! Masculine, sophisticated, longevity, and ultra SEXY!!! My experience already with it is that it's one of those fragrances that even the normally "silent but they smell you" bystanders have to comment! I'm done for 2006!!

  • SLIM 04/15/2006

I thought when i first got this fragrance it was the same thing as Creed SM. But the dry down was different, a little citrusy.

  • W.B.04/10/2006

FROM START TO FINISH, I THINK IT SMELLS LIKE CREED MI. THAT'S A GOOD THING, BUT A BAD THING WHEN IT COMES TO ORIGINALITY. IF I HAD A CHOICE, I WOULD SITCK WITH THE FORMER DESPITE THE LONGEVITY ISSUE. OTHER THAN THAT, JUST A MUNDANELY GOOD FRAGRANCE OVERALL.

  • STEVEN04/08/2006

Definitely unique and different... but there's something about it that isn't appealing as cologne. IMO, I think it could pass as something like natural B.O. - more so in the drydown too. Btw, any cologne gurus out there I would appreciate if you could email me. I've just gotten into this cologne researching "hobby" and want to ask some questions from the masters. Feel free to email me! [email protected]

  • ROB H.04/08/2006

Modern & classic, this cool citrus/herbal/woody aroma with it's wide array of some unique notes is a great start for the designer but overall a "good" cologne in general. Sophistication, masculinity, originality and longevity are all intact with this one.
