Beautiful fragrance, one to wear on special occassions, It is so smooth and elegant like nothing else I have ever purchased. I like it on my skin, but tried it on a friends and all I can say is BEAUTIFUL. It just keeps on developing as you wear it, lingering, subtle,very classy.
I had always loved shalimar, but insolence is THE best! I have gone through 3 bottles one I bought while on a cruise in Key West! Wish it wasn't so hard to find!
smelled this on a woman at the supermarket today and was blown away by its elegance. really fabulous fragrance. tried other guerelain fragances and liked none of them but this one blew me out of the water.
There's something special about this fragrance and the combination of violets and red berries. I've not experienced anything like it before and it reminds me of no other fragrance. Wonderful!
I had worn White Linen for 20 years and was looking for a change. I tried Insolence on a lark and have been through several large bottles since then. I love it, even for daily wear. I get lots of compliments. It is a fresh, classy, sophistocated fragrance. It is not fruity at all and it worked for me when hardly anything else will!
Insolence is a "pretty" fragrance, and a nice addition to the Guerlain line, but it's certainly not anything groundbreaking (though it was made by one of my favorite perfumers, Maurice Roucel). Love the bottle.
Not really a fan of Insolence but I tried My Insolence and found it to be much nicer very long lasting too, I may buy this one
Like most Guerlain fragrances you either love or loathe them. This scent has a violet top note and is quite mysterious at the same time. The dry down on me is very mellow and elegant. I would not recommend this for casual or office day wear. This is a more formal serious scent not for the diletante.
My BF bought this fragrance for me when it first came out and I love it. I only wear it when I wear certain clothes though. I think it's too elegant (not to mention expensive) to wear on a daily basis.
Tried this newer version today, and it seems very nice. The original is a little too much for me right now, but this one seems a little softer.
If you love the smell of violets well this is it....people always want to know what I'm wearing....it last pretty long time on the skin...so sexy!
