| It's a classic French fragrance that should be applied sparingly in order to enjoy its smoky, incense aroma. I think it is a beautiful fragrance and I will purchase it again. |

| I have been wearing Shalimar since the 60's and refuse to wear anything else .... it has to be the right one for you to really take advantage of the scent. I have has strangers come up to me wanting to know what it is - mostly men, drives them wild!!! For me there is NOTHING else!!!! |

| To me, this smells like rosemary and powder. I just can't get into it beyond that. I find it strong and penetrating and outdated. |

| I think some samples get old sometimes at the counters. The new lotions in the new blue bottles do not have the same Shalimar scent they had before. The light scent is a strange variation. I don't love the new packaging--but the scent is still lovely. |
