| I received a flat round bottle of Vol De Nuit for Christmas. It must be from the late 30's or early 40s. How can I find out when it was made? It's still in the original box and the bottle was tightly sealed. |

| My introduction to this fragrance was during a trip to Paris to visit a friend. It's legendary in France, for good reason. Elegant, spicy, woody, dry, mysterious. Very well balanced. Sophisticated in the French aesthetic. |

| The woody notes are oakmoss and sandalwood. Vol de Nuit (1933) top notes: orange, orange blossom, lemon, mandarin. Middle notes: Galbanum, daffodil, palmarasa, jasmine. Base notes: vanilla, oakmoss, iris, sandalwood, Peru balsam. |

| This parfum has a most tremendous
remembrance for me. My mother's brother brought it back for her when he served in WW 2. I inherited
it when she died in 1957. It is exactly the same beautiful quality as
then and brings back such wonderful memories of 58 years ago !! Imagine, 58 years of consistency & dependability. :)

| I have to say that, even I don't wear it often. I think it's a little bit old-fashioned .. Very soft elegant, nice for winter and not overpowering at all |
