| I smelled this fragrance only once in the early 80's, but never bought it, because I loved Shalimar so much and had not the money to buy every fragrance that I like ;-)). I remember it similar to Chloe, but softer, rounder with a subtle touch of "oriental". To my own surprise I never forget the nice smell of Pavlova. Now, twenty years later I bought me a bottle EdT via Ebay. It is not made by Payot anymore, but the fragrance smells nice. If you enjoy soft tuberose fragrances, Pavlova is made for you. Very feminine - for women only. Yes, I can say it's a pleasant, warm and inviting floral. Tuberose smells often rubbery and old-fashioned what I dislike. Pavlova smells not too much of tuberose. Just right. Very strong and long-lasting and not expensive. In Germany I can find it only via Ebay, not in drugstores. Nobody knows here this nice scent ;-)).
I found this description, but it is for the old formula made by Payot. Unfortunately I cannot say, if there is a big difference between the old and new formula. I like it how it smells now and that's important!!! Pavlova (Women) : 1977. Dr.N.G.Payot France.

| I used this in 1983. Had men stop me on the street and ask what I was wearing. Then I tried it in 2003 and it seemed the fragrance (especially the lotion) had changed. I'm looking for vintage Pavlova to compare. My rating is for the vintage. |

| I have been faithful to Pavlova since 1977. Many years ago my children purchased another frangrance that I used once and they told me that I no longer "smelled" like their mom. The frangrance is wonderfully me! |
