| Fracas is the fragrance I adore with all my heart. I have other scents but I always return to Fracas. It seems loud at first but it soon softens into cream . It's the only perfume I have used that truly just magnifies good smelling skin. |

| I always am asked what perfume I am wearing. I wear this on dates and the men seem to go nuts for it; they end up asking what it is. So, it's working for me:) I just love the smell, it is like aromatherapy in a bottle.. |

| I really like Fracas but I've struggled with how to wear it because it is so very potent and it can be a headache in a bottle if applied too heavily. Your suggestion on how to wear it is perfect! I tried it and now I find Fracas to be fresh, sexy, floral-spicy and never too heavy. Thanks for a great tip. A little does indeed go a long way. Of course that is the mark of a well-made fragrance. |

| Greetings Barbara, I am always reading posts on here and noticed time and time again that we seem to enjoy many of the same scents. I too love the spicy dark warm complex scents that are becoming more rare in the perfume world of tuti fruity celebrity scents. You seem to sing the praises of Tom Fords Black Orchid again and again :) and I can not find it anywhere where we live. I am considering purchasing the TFBO voile de Fleur but am wondering what the simularities are in Fracas and that scent. I am really digging my new bottle of Fracas which is weird for me, but could not help but order one after reading the review on Now Smell This blog! I would appreciate any info/help you could advise me on. Thank you! |

| I received my bottle of Fracas this morning and was excited and nervous to test it out at the same time after reading lots of reviews. R.Piquet was an ingenious alchemist of his time! This is so complex it is difficult to describe. I am liking it A LOT though! I can see how the tuberose dominates and that is a love it or hate it scent. I am shocked at how rich this white floral is ( and I do not usually enjoy white florals at all). It does have this "creamy" background which conjurs up memories of peaches and cream eaten on the porch on a cooler summer night wearing a cotton sweater, or nursing my babies and smelling their sweet hair or having a chai latte in a cafe I love in Seattle while it is softly raining in the spring and the trees and flowers are in bloom. I hope some of those images help describe this scent and what it is to me. I can see this will be a favorite in no time and a beautiful addition to my growing perfume collection. I hope you like it too! Bonus: the bottle is tres chic for sure! |
