| This cologne is excellent for night time wear and it smells very appealing to the late 20s and early 30s. It is really sexy and manly. I use it only one special occasions. Soft vetiver, mixed with sweet elements for the yourger men. |

| The Creed you're referring to is the 1948 Vetiver. It's sharp and mineralic. Makes you feel as if you're by a rocky mountain spring, and is suitable for daytime and summers. The confusion is caused becaue this one here is often marketed as "Creed's Original Vetiver" -Even though it came out much later, and it's really a formal evening scent, imho. somewhat 'soapy' and not blasting away with unencumbered vetiver, unlike, for example, Guerlian's masterpiece. |

| Hey! folks there is nothing special about this stuff. Go buy some detergent and fabric softner like Downy wash your clothes in it and you will get the same smell. Go with Guerlain's Vetiver! Don't get me wrong Creed makes great colognes and perfumes that are fairly and justifiably higher priced than most, but this one is way overpriced. |

| This scent just does not measure up for a Creed scent. It is too rich and annoying after a while. You would be better off with Guerlain. The original Guerlain Vetiver was what JFK wore, and not Creed as some would suggest. I believe it was Guerlain house in France that gave both Jackie and John F. Kennedy Guerlain colognes and perfumes. Jackie was a lover of French fashions. |

| To those who've been browsing and posting on this website for awhile, THIS is the Rob H. you all know. Definitely not one of my favs from Creed but not bad for a Vetiver scent. Although I still give this 3*s like Guerlain's Vetiver, this one is a bit better even for it's hefty price tag. |
